you forget the booncorrupt . stability will be changed to fear. thats not just flat dammage, its possible to interrupt stomps or just fokus a target down.
beside that a necro is standing at 1200-900 range and aoe all of the enemys.
the condi mesmer needs to get closer. staff is more mid-close range cause the projektiels are so slow and your clones will die if the need to run alot.
to trigger the torch you need to stand between the enemys and even with added thoughniss you will melt.
moreover the necro hardcounters cele engi and ele. condi trasnfer, boon remove, chill and hardcc > confusion dmg, torment, burn dmg.
you play interrupt kittenterstyle for reasons. you need that boon remove, cause without you cant daze/interrupt at all.
it works better together.
on the other hand you clearly see the power of ip and the illusion traitline if you switch from power shatter to ci. you need to play more with your illusion, cause f2 is garbadge and f1 is weaker than in “normal” shatter. tho your shatter burst and the boonremove is favoured over your greater one vs one potential.
its funny how all want it to be a projektiel. i guess so you dont wanne use it without los anymore.
moreover the stunbreak should be changed, its kinda broken.
pu is forbidden on angz server so you can take 20-10 points and put it somewhere else ::>
but pu is not needed against most classes, cause weakness defensive amullet, confusion is mostly enough. speaking of 1 vs 1
well shelter > other guard heals
its like scyther > other pokehmohn

well theres a boss in the dredge ini who use gs 3 on your whole team, beside that a lot of skills like gs 5 on guard use a system to randomly catch 5 enemies.
so why do you need a new technic ?

i dont think the skill is so bad, its just that the boon removal on shatters is kinda strong.
so as mesmer you either need to use ulties or shatter.
sword aa is sometimes rly hard to use if the node is full of aoe spamm, so a 1200 range remove is not that bad
other professions got a rly hard time to get for example a necro with plague off point to cap it.

we are with the necro the best boon removers, thievs are just good cause the traitet steal always get stability.
well i dont think this trait is that bad
yeah on clone deaths are not that risky but tho either with sword and and lot of dodges kinda offensiv or just realy slow.
torment on shatter rly goes well in hybrid builds
you just get so much off burst and with more dmg conditions( bleed burn and torment ) so even condi isnt that slow in dmg.

the tooltip say it just deel like 470 dmg, but thats wrong cause its 4,3/4 duration which is getting rounded up to 5 and its from every clone. with more might youll get like enough condition dmg ( you can mostly keep like 10 stacks)
i think its still weaker then normal shatter gameplay but just fresh to play something new
the op is mostly playing wvw , so no phantasmen and kiting would be the better one ? ;O
so most ppl thing phantasm mesmer is cheap cause you just need to do 4 things
1. have 30% more illu dmg and the fury trait
2. dont be blinded
3. dont be obstructed
4. kite end let the illus do the dmg
the illus are just to good in one vs one fights → the swordsman hit every 3,6 sec for example you cant dodge that and mostly just die
other build need to fokus to offense and their defense
i guess a good illu mesmer just start the fight with 3 illusions
cast swordsman at 1200 range, then swap the offhand sword with pistol from your bag ( before you get into combat , not possible in tpvp) then cast the pistol illu , swap weapon to secondary set ( for example gs ) and you got 3 illus
maybe switch offhand sword to pistol :O → more bleeds
a arrow cart hit 50 people
a “normal” aoe only 5
so the arrowcart can hit everyone of those smale scale guild of 20-30 :O
