Guild Wars 2

Not sure if this is the right place to ask the question, but i am trying to recover my old GW1 account.

Years ago i played GW1 for a brief moment and lately i have been thinking of taking a look in there again, catch up on the story etc.

But i cannot remember my password and the account name is ending in @ncsoft. My GW2 account is not linked to that GW1 account.

Where should i request help to recover the account and what do i need to do to get that done?

I agree that crafting a legendary from scratch should give you some extra bragging rights. Unfortunatly nobody can see if you did that or just bought the precursor.

Would be nice if they added a title for crafting a precursor from scratch.

Thank you all for the suggestions on how to tackle this. I didnt know about the participation, so will keep an eye on it. Also i will try my Guardian and Necro and do the dailies.

I am working on my legendary and have all the parts finished now. Only need the Gift of Battle.

I am a handicapped PVE player, because of my handicap i do not have a very fast reaction and on top of that i am almost deaf, which makes it impossible to use TS.

I can handle myself pretty well in PVE, but in WvW i notice to be more dead than alive. I am just too slow.

Since i really want (need) that GoB i need to do the whole reward track to get it.

So here is my question: from all the profs (i have them all on 80) which one would be best for me.
I know my best option is to run with a zerg, so i can join a squad – usually untill i get kicked because of being dead all the time and not using TS.

What would you advise me for prof and how to get that reward track done?

I just joined a squad for the Meta in AB. During the map swapping afterwards i got kicked and although i sent a friendly question as to why i was kicked i got the answer: lobbyt.
So when i asked for a further explanation i never got a clear answer and i decided to ask here so maybe someone can shine a light on it. I dont want to make the same mistake next time, if i made a mistake at all.

So this is what i did after the fight:

1) announced that my map was done and went to loot my map.
2) swap to lobby, try to join next map and when succeed (sometimes the other map is full and i will try the next one up), and moved my icon to the map i went to.
3) repeat step 2 until i did all maps, prioritizing the maps that needed care.
4) announce i was almost done and volunteer to hold a map.
5) got kicked

What was wrong? I hope anyone can tell me. I never stay in lobby for any longer than needed to load the new map and drag the icon.

This morning i started logging in with my ranger and her elite skill was gone from the hotbar. No problem because i just could select it again to work.

Then after switching to my engineer her elite skill was gone as well. But this time i cannot select the skill i was using before: the Elite Mortar Kit. It is greyed out and cannot be selected. In my training panel it is listed as trained.

Anyone else having a problem with this?

You can use the boost on more than 1 class as a try-out.

Just make a level 1 of a certain class, then use the boost and play it in Silver Wastes as long as you like without actually consuming the boost.

If you decide you do not like that class, than cancel the boost and try again on another lvl 1.
Just make sure not going out of Silver Wastes and make sure not to finalize the boost untill you are sure you found the class you actually want.

I use the G600 mouse + keyboard. Since the mouse can be programmed to your liking its a good mouse to replace a console controller.

The other thing is that GW2 doesn’t use a load of key’s, at least not as much as a lot of other MMO’s out there.

My advise would be to get used to using the keyboard with your left hand -WASD- to move, reprogram your mouse to what works for you and if needed reprogram the keys around the WASD to what you are missing to your set up.

Put 4 masterwork lvl 65 earrings into the mystic forge. Forge accepted it but gave nothing in return. No message either.

Often I just have to go to LA to do some banking or picking up something from Tp or even using it as a short stop before i travel on. Whenever i get into the overflow it doesnt matter to me, im not planning to speak/see anyone of my own server for that moment.

I would like to see the popup that tells me that im in the overflow having a button i can click saying i dont want to be queued for my own instance. So people that are in the queue waiting to go to LA to see their friends have a shorter waiting time and it saves me to have another (sometimes annoying) popup where i can choose to travel or not.

This is a really good idea!
On my warrior i encounter exactly the problem as OP stated and with my elementalist its just a pain to switch weapons in the field between fights. So i usually just stick to the equipped set even if another set would be better for the fights ahead.
