Guild Wars 2

I left this game a good while ago, my highest guy was level 50 so I never really experienced end game, I liked the lore and classes but I couldnt get over how it felt like the classes were all fairly similar, now that the last WoW expansion was terrible, and a new X-pac for this game is coming out I felt like I should give it another try. Also the fact that my biggest complaint with this game is now in WoW ten fold.

So my question is, what are some things I need to know, and what class/race combos are fun to play as?

Im not the only one who thinks this, its all over the elementalist forums

I have tried all of them and this is my honeat opinions

Glyph of Elementals: Clearly the most viable, offers a good tank in pve, its ok in spvp, worthless in wvwvw

Fiery Greatsword: Pretty Good damage, but the only way to survive as elementalist is to constantly swap attunements and you cant do that well using this, and also lightning hammer does more damage

Tornado: Worthless in WvWvW, havent really used in PvE much, in sPvP It is pretty decent, its a terrible escape, The way it does actually good damage, is if people throw combo fields because whirlwind finisher is prety good

BTW this is not an ELE UP WERREOR OP thread im just saying i actually rather the norn skills sometimes for elites

Thief has more health than ele, just sayin

Ele has only 1 utility and we cant use it till weve been downed for 6 seconds, by then we are dead, either thief and warrior need nerf or ele needs buff

The Norn Priory quest code breaker has a wierd bug on code breaker, spoiler= after you kill the spymaster dredge guy and you read the book and crack the code, the spymaster guy respawns and you can keep repeating the scene as much as you want, however you can always press the leave instance button, also it gives no expirience or items so its not really an exploit /spoiler

First of all i want to server transfer to my friends server but i need to know a few things,

Will i keep all my characters? because if not i wont do it

Also is it free? thats what my friend says but on the wiki it says 1800 gem

Elementalist damage is waaaay lower, just saying, and we die much faster

In an xpac or something, that would be so awesome, they were my favorite class, and you could make it so other classes could use sythes also as a weapon, it fits so perfectly with the mechanics!!! PLEASE

I realise it is probably bad in pvp, but in pve it is so fun and awesokme to use, Every third hit an AOE Blind? Yes Please

All Those Stuns And Leaps and knockbacks, only boring skill is number 4 but its only boring because of long cast, overall, Good Job Anet

Same thing happened to me, i changed my password, but i dont think they will restore it

Does Anyone Know?

I Cant figure out which one to choose, earth shield seems pretty cool, same with the blink thing, Also for WvWvW the revive skill seems to be pretty cool

I cant decide, what do you think
