I don’t know if this has been tried, but could someone with “Edit Rank” permissions in their guild remove and then re-add their “Arena Decorator” permission?

Just got an in-game message from an Anet dev. It WILL take till next reset for the fix to take affect. Red post to confirm is incoming.

No fix for me.

Is it possible this wont fix till tomorrow’s reset? Can we get a red post to update us on when we should see the results of this fix?

I was on megaserver map (southsun cove) when reset time hit and I didn’t get the daily ( time remaining 00:00), just after I left the zone and go to regular map (no megaserver) that the daily appears.

And is showing to me that I already craft “Spool of Silk Weaving Thread” after reset time and I need wait another day to craft, but I didn’t craft after the reset time.

I can confirm this. My “Ecto Refinement” crafting did not reset either. It seems NOTHING on a daily timer is resetting. Not achievements, not crafting, not dungeons, and not boss chests.

This is a pretty major bug now Anet.

Same here 3/5. It appears that those that were included in both yesterday and today’s selection did not have their completion status reset.

What is the effect of the Transmutation Splitter on Backpack covers and other weapon skins? Do you get the skin back? Can it then be converted to a PvP skin and stored in the locker?

I ask because I would like to update my original Super Adeventure Backpack skin with one of the new colors but don’t want to lose the original or need to craft a new back piece.

Same here. And I did try with multiple characters. If any character has done the run it wont count for the daily.

@OP. I don’t know if your seeing something I’m not or finding malice where none was intended. I’ve found the vast majority of the “political debate” among the players to be either a) light hearted or b) centered sole on which fractal they would prefer.

Edit: As for me, I’m going Kiel. I’d rather see a fractal about an event recent to GW2 lore then one long ago even in GW1 history.

QJ = Queen’s Jubilee

The celebration of the anniversary of Queen Jennah’s rule will be a convenient in-lore way to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of GW2. The month long celebration will start August 6 with a decorated DR, open world achievements and possibly some of the missing/unfinished DR activites. Of course, as seems to always be the case in Tyria, things will not go as expected. I suspect Caudecus will somehow be involved as this would give them an in-lore excuse to update CM. The conflict will come to a climax with the August 20th update and be resolved a week later, just in time to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee (GW2 1st anniversary) on the 28th.

Who says these things will be delivered via mailbox? For all we know they could add a vendor similar to the HOM vendor.

^Says rather clearly that the rewards for the in my case 4,3k achievement points will only be given after I earn more achievement points. So i’d need to earn another 4,3k points it seems. I’m not a no-life player and won’t get my rewards. Simple as that.

How you come to that conclusion is a mystery. To me it says that once this system is live you will automatically get/unlock the rewards you have earned with your 4.3k points.

Or in PvP. I could envision an interesting PvP map involving some kind of Asuran “jet pack” that would allow for aerial combat.

Do note that we generally make and update upcoming monthly achievements for upcoming months when we do updates. The achievements are currently set up for other months, but any of the monthly achievements beyond February are likely to change before we get to those months.

I figured as much. But looking farther ahead in the Monthlies may show any “standard” achievements not yet listed on the wiki. Same for the Dailies. Now that we know we can do this, lets get that wiki updated with a full list.

Monthly Event Participation (4 tiers)
Monthly Salvage Kit usages (4 tiers)
Monthly Completionist ‘’You completed your daily category multiple times in a month’’…?

And another fun fact, the monthlies for December 2013 include Tixx’s workshop. So I guess we can expect his return?

Wow, very cool. Now we need someone good at editing the wiki to go through and collect the full rotation of Dailies and the next several months of Monthlies and update the wiki pages.

We may have different achievements for December 2013. Anet may not know what they are going to be yet so still have the December 2012 achievements listed in the dat.

It’s displaying the daileys based on your system time, but the server actually hands out credit for completing them. So you need to your system time to the correct time. (It’s probably set for the wrong date.)

So has anyone tried setting their system clock to February? Are we able to preview next months Monthlies as well?
