No anet no longer has asian based servers the best you’ll be able to do is a european server.
Anyway I kept having disconnects out of nowhere when I had 2 separate keyboards active. i.e. I had the english keyboard and the chinese (for Taiwan) active and for some reason it would cause the game client to crash. At least that’s what anet told me and since only having one keyboard active i have not had the crashing issue. If you are running windows and have more than one keyboard active then i’d disable one.
If that’s not the issue then try putting all your gfx settings to lowest, GW2 is gfx intense and can overload your pc. There are so many things that could be of issue.
If you are stalling out by your character just running but no npc interaction or whatever you may be low on memory. Getting more RAM would solve that. Your gfx card may not be able to handle the gw2 gfx or your resolution could be either too high or set to a resolution your gfx card can’t handle. I could list about 30 things off the top of my head that could cause game client failure but those are the most common. If all that isnt the issue then try reinstalling the client and/or getting more bandwidth.

Its not any of those. Im on a US based server running 1 keyboard, 16 gb of DDR5 ram, Radeon HD 7700 graphics card, 6 core processor.

After re installing several times, i still get the same code he gets. This is not a problem with our computers, but a problem with Anet. after several tickets with them, they jsut tell me its my ISP. Kinda weird how they monitor only our house in vegas. Because all my other friends in vegas can run GW2 without a hitch. (Btw, all my other MMO games run flawlessly)

ANET has some issues and they are nto fixing. I also vote, Fix it or refund me kitten well.

i find you have to jump on it at a certain interval. i could be wrong as i did it about 20 days ago..

i just got this error as well. Decided to Re Install the game to see if it would fix the error 7. and well, while installing i get the same little error report that i get while in game. The little :Send error report: box..

Throne im having the same problems. Curious, were you able to play for a few months then it jsut started happening? Thats what happened to me. all was fine till about a week ago. Did the ping reports, all the stuff they asked. still messing up. They wont seem to give me any actual reason on why its happening, only analogies of whats happening.

They send a password that worked. Finally got a ticket in. now lets hope something can be resolved in less then 2 weeks.. lol.

And the only Email you can see in those pics is a crap email.

Well.. because i was told to by the Anet team?

the ticket i received told me to, i guess thats where they are sending everyone with the Error 7.

So.. I have the error 7 B.S. So, i go tthe email to send them the crash report.. but it seems i cant log into the NCSOFT.com site. I set up an email (Since my Actual email doesnt seem to work with a password, and when hitting the reset or resend password, it doesnt send me one.) No rest to my main or spam..

So, i decide to create a new account with an alternate email. And low and behold, the password doesnt work… again.. and, when i go to rest the password, i do get the link. but, then i get this ::Pic’d below::

So, now it says that account i created doesnt exist.

So, i try a third email, and it does jsut as the other two.. Incorrect password, then it loses my account.

HOW THE F$%*# DOES ONE SEND A REPORT, WHEN YOU HAVE NO WAY TO GET IN?

I would love to call and just situate this with a representative, but they have no numbers to call.

I want this error 7 fixed, but even more, i would like to access my NCSOFT account..

This one is interesting. “missing textures”. still related to a “TRY_ALLOC failure”, which I suppose means that GW2 tried to allocate memory and it didn’t work. I don’t have disk error on my log, unlike TheCrimzonJester.

Yeah.. one of the oddest things.. is that i never had a full folder for the game. 3 different installs of the game, and never had a full folder. Jsut look at the pic. thats the only folder i have with GW2. no Anet, or NCsoft, or other folder that links to the game.

Explain that? (and its been DL’d from this site.)

Started with me 2 hours ago, didnt have such a thing since launch. First I was DC’ing every 1-2 mins, then looked a bit stable, stayed online for 10 mins with a lag but didnt DC, then started again.

And to think, ANet says its a problem on our side..

Curious Any one else ge the email to create an NCsoft main account, only to have it say password error, then suddenly have it delete your account?

Yeah, kinda hard to send a report to an area you cant log into. (I have done this with 2 separate email addys jsut to see if it was me.) So, now i have a disconnect error 7 that cant be sent due to a site that wont remember my password correctly, and wont keep an account active for more then a minute..

i get the same kitten crash in WVW

I love how this error is just so RAMPANT!
Really ANet.. is it so hard to figure out a fix? this thing has been going on almost since the start of the game. I have done EVERYTHING the fixes has said to do, tried reformatting. did 2 different reinstalls, and still get this disconnect code. Its really hard to like a game that always disconnects you. Hell i have been dealing with this since i first got the game when it first came out.. some days im fine, and other days.. its relentless. Just fix it
