Was a good match up until an entire guild decided to sabotage our siege supply by putting up a ton of rams, and trolling our chat constantly, with a commander of this guild we’ve never seen before leading people to their deaths.

Either way, BP, or Anvil Rock will beat them, if not both.

That isn’t a DH tactic …if I had to take a guess, that’s a guild that has developed a problem with Anvil Rock , independent of the current match-up.

Thanks for the new dailies, now when I see the “dodger” or “crafter” I know its time to take a break from this game, because I will not be doing them at all, Its annoying to dodge npc attacks and the game simply fails at that. I dont really want to farm the mats or spend gold to complete the crafter. My only complaint is the crafting daily. It’s unnecessarily burning up materials and money for little to no return. I don’t actually need the crafted items and of course they take up precious inventory space. I’ve seen several people suggest selling them instead. IMHO, I don’t think those people have thought things through completely.

With several million people grinding their way through crafting dailies at least once and perhaps more times per week (in addition to all the other crafting going on), the materials market is going to go sky high and the crafted item seller’s market is going to have the bottom drop out. People who don’t want to do it for their dailies will effectively see an income nerf.

I guess we’ll see how it all shakes out. The other new dailies were nothing earth shaking (at least not yet) and provide some variety.

Refine ore or wood, they have their own ‘space’ in your bank.

Combo Killer was removed. But people are still gonna complain about it.

I’ve decided all the arguments against the new dailies (except the broken ones) are ridiculous.

If any of these were enacted along with the previous set, when dailies went live, no one would say a word. But if they were introduced yesterday, the forums would be like:

5 Events? I hate Events, why isn’t Anet catering to ME!

Why would I want to craft 10 ingots? I’d rather be in WvW making you T*T about my class being OP. This isn’t all about how difficult these are. But how much a waste of time they are. Some of us do not want to craft for any reason. Some don’t need to DODGE so why force us to let a mob get that close?

But being on DH, I’m going to agree with you, the first week of HoD-GoM-DH was the most fun and balanced match-up we had had in DH for almost 2 months. And yeah, it’s not skill or strategy, its numbers.

It wasn’t any fun losing big guilds and playing on the losing side of a unbalanced match-up, just as it isn’t any fun gaining guilds and playing on the winning side of a unbalanced match-up.

But since it is unbalanced now, I’m hoping with some luck the ranking system will balance out before everyone gets trapped in weeks and weeks of unbalanced unfun wvw.

I’d farm Skelk in Southsun Cove. There is a nice beach of them on the SE part of the island. They drop Powerful and potent blood but they also drop the fangs(both Vicious and Large). This is the deal. Take the large fangs and potent blood and craft rare weapons or armors etc. Then salvage those for your ectos. Sell the Vicious Fangs and buy more Powerful Blood. That way you are killing two birds with one stone.

Also the north part, in the sea along the coast, between the two wp’s, skelks, barracudas, turtles , etc.

It’s a sarcastic way of saying its nigh impossible to get spawn camp. Those who continuously charge out through the front is looking only for a fight, thinking they are some sort of epic PvP hero. They are worst than those who sit infornt of the front entrance at the very least they have all/most of the map and is killing time. Walk around, I doubt they have 10+ people blocking every exit. If they could chances are they wouldn’t be anywhere near the lower/mid tier, if they are them it won’t be for long.

It’s not ‘nigh impossible’ it’s incredibly easy. If you’re spawn camping, it’s most likely because you’ve capped the entire map. Which means all three exits will lead to an enemy tower.

There will never be an acceptable excuse for spawn camping and it will always be done by lame players. That’s the nature of the game.

So I logged into WvW yesterday and some people were going to camp flip, so I decided to join them for a bit. When we moved out this guy started heading off to the side, at first I thought maybe he need some stuff at the merchant but he kept running past them. The other guys followed him and I was thinking to myself “wtf are these noobs doing”. After debating to myself for a second on wether to ditch them all or follow them, I decided to follow them, at least it’s a good story to tell my guild about the noobs later. To my surprise there is ANOTHER path out of our spawn, in fact there is one on each side, and the exits are pretty far apart, making it hard for people to cover them all. Not only is this a good, sneaky way to leave but it could be used to avoid being spawn camped. Wish I found out about this earlier.

We also don’t need multiple guilds from opponents who have a 30k point lead exploiting towers multiple times. Exploit a tower, then give it back uncontested if you’re actually working on cleaning things up.

but… I know how shooting the messenger goes. I also know I’ll be banned from the forums before exploiters are banned from the game. At least be happy about that.

Anyways, i’v had some fun battles so far. Like yesterday evening against AR at ANZ Pass when you guys had 4-5 trebs hitting from SM. Was pretty fun. ^.^

I do find it pretty amazing that when multiple screen shots of a huge group of NSP players are shown caught in an exploit no one even takes notice but an off prime small group with nothing but post flipped tower pictures makes such a stir. Did this group exploit to get in, were any walls or doors down? We can’t tell by the pictures. Not saying it didn’t happen, just that the screens don’t show us much. The Bravost pics show everything and not a word of negativity about NSP as a server, think about it.

Because, at a bare minimum, this is the third time Sunny as been exploited by AR.

It’s not about Giving up. It’s about 7 weeks of being Steamrolled while sleeping, about the big guilds leaving, about ANet who can’t look at current data while scheduling match-ups, about free transfers … and it’s about Darkhaven rebuilding, retraining and trying to stay confident that we’re not just wasting our time in WvW during our peak hours.

But clearly, its going to be another long kittening week for DH.

And for the … person… who claimed there was some kind of alliance between DH and AR … I’d like to say, pay attention, or follow me as I watch an entire map of AR members run up the cliff to Sunnyhill. NSP has SM, and 480 points, if there’s an alliance against you, its the biggest Fail Alliance in GW2 wvw history.

I definitely don’t picture either server to drop to the bottom. At all. They are REALLY putting up a good fight. May I remind everyone that most of the points that we currently have (nearly 100ish k) were earned BEFORE the transfers? If anything, I think that the guilds that left have raised the other servers’ fighting spirit moreso than before. I am impressed with how much they are stepping it up and packing a serious punch while they do.

I loved DH as a server, however no one wanted to get together to do wvw. Our server tried setting up many alliances, Website, Public Voice coms etc. But still no guilds came to use them, 90% of all the current guilds wvwing for 1-6 hours a day on DH are PVE orientated as previously they hardly ever dedicated a true wvw force on a daily basis.

Darkhaven is a Tier 7 server, The wvw glicko system will drop slowly due to its design (DH will be Dropping a tier next week) but this is where DH is with its size in numbers considering they can only hold/defend one map currently as a server.

I really do hope DH can pull their kitten together and actually work together, however our guild [WE] tried and tried to help that move along to no success.

You say that like it really matters. This week is a loss, both DH and BP knows this, just fight, kill each other, and know its nothing personal, its just WvW during a pathetic time in both of our servers ‘history’.

If DH takes a BP supply camp, its no big deal. If BP takes a DH supply camp, its no big deal. And its not personal.

DH and BP have ZERO chance of making up the score due to the kitten Defections, so, just take it in stride, and tough it out until reset, a reset where hopefully Anet can fix its scheduling and put both servers in a competetive match-up.

Conspiracy theory? I just waypointed in from EB after getting my map completion and spotted him just running around… No one else from DB was around to ‘screen cap’ this. That would be one elaborate conspiracy there, one that anyone who knows me, knows that I’m definitely not capable of ‘orchestrating’.

Our week in tier 4 was anything but “easy mode”,
And I would hope that any guilds transferring to DB realize that.

As the scores are going now, next week will be DB/Ehmry/Yak’s in tier 4,
That’s not going to be an easy fight for any side.

Our oceanic coverage is good, but above tier 5 they can’t fight the whole battle for us (And we definitely belong somewhere above tier 5. No offense to either of you servers, but I don’t want to be 60,000 points in the lead on Sunday morning any more than you want to be 60,000 points behind on Sunday morning) , so we’re beefing up our NA force.

It’s Easy Mode. Everyone knows it. In another 5 days all this will be forgotten, assuming GW2 ’s Scheduling can catch up to current events before the next reset. But considering the Lag time, BP and DH will be looking at a minimum of 2 more weeks of this Epic Fail.

That DH zerg that came sweeping into our borderland about 12 hours ago sure gave me a minor heart attack. That is definitely a quiet time for us, and I really felt the pressure. I had to call in reinforcements and everything!

It’s a nice gesture, but the damage is done. And while that might balance out the rest of the week, it would just highlight the flaws with the current ranking system that fails to take into account the ahem …free server transfers ..

Those of us Diehard DH WvW’ers will venture into wvw anyway…but at least now we have nothing to lose! Except some repair bills, but, that’s the price we pay.
