IMO we need to change Unholy Martyr So it can be a trait that can be used both in solo and group play. An example would to change it so when you get conditions in shroud you gain a small amount of life force while you are taking them in from allies in a set interval, or get a new trait that can be used in group or solo play. Though i don’t see any good ideas that can come from moving other traits like unholy sanctuary over or parasitic contagion (especially parasitic contagion since it would only directly help condition based builds) builds). The trait should not be like Vampiric Rituals and lock us into using a single skill set.
For future reference I think we should not focus on the numbers of these ability but how useful they can be in scenarios since that is territory I feel would cause some of us to lose focus on the main point.

don’t know about you but for me this is a trait that gets no play since it is out shined by Vampiric Rituals and Transfusion.

Flesh of the master with 12 horrors would get you up to 240 extra toughness Which is nice but if you say you could theoretically get 50 that’s a woopping 1000 toughness add that to deadly strength an extra 70-140 damage boost.

The stability was 1 stack for 1 second, it didn’t help you at all with cc. The current iteration is actually great because it is an instant stunbreak instead of a 1/2 second one, and it now applies more weakness.

Must have not seen the extra weakness in the description that dose sound better then i first thought. But i should have been more clear to what i ment. i was referring to the burst of cc some builds can dish out after i break stun.

It seems that you missed totally the point of that stability. Check this out: Well of Power
The stability is there to cover the cast time for the stun-break and a little bit more of it. What they did to YAAW is to remove the cast time completely and, therefore, remove the stability as well. So the skill is, hands down, better now than before.

true but with YAAW it gave stabilty per target struck aswell. Tho might have been a bug at the time. i will admit I’m little sad that im more easier to cc in pvp agains a few people.

The new version is nice but we have already have means to stack might and the stability on it helped with the weakness of the necro. It is very hard to land Cttb especially with scrapper and its multiple stun it has access to.

@vigil well thankfully Robert stated that he is working on axe and scepter. Best thing we can do right now is give him other ideas on improving necro and the idea of having all necro’kittens apply life force is great one.

Could do with both to be honest.

Stoning is one of eles worst auto attacks. But its better than our staff auto. If our staff auto had weakness and 100% finisher it would be almost the same. Except it would have pierce, life force and a very minute damage advantage (which can be ignored because of ele damage traits). I think thats fair seeing as staff is terrible for everything except for mark spam in zerg vs zerg.

At the very least we need the 100% finisher though. RNG finishers are the epitome of bad design.

It’s really sad when people are making compromises about staff to be just as kittentaff ele earth auto instead of worse lol.

Necro staff as well as any weapon that isn’t greatsword needs sizable buffs, period.

necro in general needs buffs I’m just stating one thing that should happen atm since the staff’s auto is very slow which makes it difficult for the attack to become a projectile finisher.

Since necromancer’s staff auto attack is slow it shouldn’t be over power to change it to always be a projectile finisher.

like Sigil of blood, vamp runes, and life steal food. It would give the necromancer a small amount of extra sustain and not waste the proc if it goes off in Ds since we can’t chose when the proc would go off.

Pulse of Life – while in death shroud you heal targets in a Aoe after each pulse

I’m sorry if i made it sound like a hard mode I have problems with jumping the gun when I though of some thing cool with out really thinking it out fully and saying it clear. What i really meant just for a self proclaim challenge not some thing for the Devs to add in the game. You know a personal challenge for those veteran players not a hard mode.
just an idea people could stream and brag that they can do a certain dungeon with no armor.

*Launch padding *
Turrets gain 30% damage reduction and if a turret is over “X” units your tool belt skill changes to Launch

Launch kitten cooldown ground targeted like deployable turrets traits but has a bigger radius for the blast finisher
Activate rockets from under you turret to launch them to your location dealing damage upon landing.

It is similar to the supply crate elite but dose not stuns (still dose blast finisher) and still keep the feeling of the engi while adding mobility to the turrets.
thou it may need to switch places with the auto repair since it dose seem more of a higher tier trait.

Note not just for men
This is some thing I just thought with after remembering the no armor lvl 1 runs in dark souls/ demon souls some do for a challenge. its quite simple really only pants and shoes (or nothing at all your choice) for PvP, WvW, GvG, PvE ect to really give people a challenge. cool right?

I do know some from said races that appreciate us. Also for those who think genocide is the solution i hope you come to your senses and cease all active thoughts upon said goals.

yes i do believe your right but as a necromancer I know full well that those risen do not have the capable means of communication (or a means of a coherent thought besides from “for the master”) an the one who risen them from death needs the magic from our world witch is not good for the environment since its not releasing any magic back from for the cyclic of magic to be renewed again. also you can not kill what is already dead but remove the magic that kept it active after said body that has long been dead. but lets get back to the main topic of this thread shall we?
