This is interesting, my splitter did the exact opposite. I transmuted my Fractal capacitor with Berserker stats over my Rabid back with rose skin, and splitting gave me the rose and the berserker without the other rabid stat piece. Mine is also being looked into.

That is not a bug. Transmuted items do not remember a history of transmutations. Anything you did not pick when transmuting gets destroyed.

Edit: Also the splitter will never return a skin. It will return a white item with the same skin that can be used to reapply the look by using another Transmutation Crystal.

Or not one at all. lol

No one has responded to my ticket since they said they would “look into it”. This is ENTIRELY the fault of the game. I’m starting to wonder why I haven’t been givin my skin back yet. I can’t play my engineer because of how upset I am.

Instead of receiving my Monocle I received the stats item instead. Not only did I buy gems with money but the item I purchased with said gems did not return my expensive skin. That’s money and gold down the drain. I’ve contacted support and they said they would “look into it”. (This was on the 5th) I just want to warn those that are thinking of using the splitter and I’m hopping to get my Monocle back. I don’t care about the gems I just want my armor skin back.

Why is that the female Asuras get the same town clothing as the human and norn races but not the same or similar armor? Why ANET!?

I’ve done all playable races and I’ve defeated all of the masters.

I’ve won every round with all of the races and it still show’s that I’m 4/5 on the last teir. Is this a glitch? I’ve tried everything.

They announced the TP is having problems on their FB page and they are looking into fixing it.

That’s great and all but what about our items/gold. Last time this happened myself and a few friends never got their stuff back. I hope they can reroll or something.

Mine was the same way. I purchased two. Now I’m out of 700 gems and 12 gold.

All of you are missing what I’m saying. They can continue to come out with armor just fine. I’m not saying give me or anyone special treatment. I’m just saying that making the Witch skin look the same on Asura females (as it does on humans) was a very nice change of pace. If they continued doing that (provided it isn’t something sexy) I’m sure a lot of people would be happy. I’m not complaining, I’m just saying that continuing to do that for future gem store skins would be nice.

I especially like that the witch costume has the female armor skin on my female Asura! Also, the broom!

I’d be nice that when you went into combat it would auto toggle off your town clothes into your armor. That way you can wear them whenever!

Asura are androgynous. They aren’t designed to be gender-distinguishable at a range, as the only difference in their bodies IS the face. Even their society is uni-sex when you look at it. You don’t see any sign of their culture where men/women have any advantage over each other – including the outfits.

I’m aware and that’s fine. I’m not saying to redo all of the skins. Just putting forth the suggestion that more feminine armor skins that you can buy with gems would be a good idea.

I’m specifically talking about the witch town clothing. I was SO excited that my little Asura girl could finally get an armor set that looks the same on other female characters. None of this sharing skins with the boys anymore! But alas, my joy wasn’t there for long after I read it wasn’t an armor skin but towns cloths. Don’t get me wrong, I love the item! I think it would be a great idea to come out with more feminine armor skins that look the same on ALL female races.

I was saddened to find out that the only clothing that actually looks like female clothing on my Asura was town clothes. I play a Necromancer and the witch outfit is PERFECT! To bad it isn’t an armor skin. I would buy it if it was. :c

Top right, if I’m not mistaken.

Zojja has a lighter “tan” coloring to her skin. I’d try the Peach or Cream color in the skin options menu. She doesn’t have a “belly” she’s a bit taller than the shortest Asura model and she has the last body type on the top row of the “body section”. You won’t be able to get it exact but you can get it pretty darn close!

and i kinda regretted it but too lazy to re roll and im slowly making a norn elemental just to collect the pretty armor

also i hate the asura armor with a passion…

The armor with the bow is what sold me. I figured they’d just scale down the armor model. Alas, it was not and I was stuck with the male version. It’s not like the female version is revealing either. :c
