Guild Wars 2

So far i have leveled a Ranger, Guardian, and a Thief and they all had abilities that gave them an additional 25% movement speed, so far i haven’t been able to find this for the engi (level 30 or 31 atm). Is there an ability for this or nah?

I haven’t really been active since a month or two after launch. I have an 80 ranger and a 75 guar but was wondering what i’d be coming back too.

Is there any PvE (dungeons etc) at endgame? As far as i can remember it was mainly PvP oriented around launch.

nah i dont even have it installed anymore, so ill have to access it in gw1 before it will show up for my gw2 ranger?

I just linked a gw1 acct when my ranger hit 80 so i could mainly just get the two unique pets. But after i bought the orb from the karma vendor, there is no jellyfish or black widow to be found. And i cant see the goodies from the vendor either.

Does anyone know if i did something wrong or how to fix it?!?

So i played a Ranger at release and was really digging it but after the SB nerf i quit for a while. I just patched last week and rolled a new character with a friend, i picked a Guardian and he picked a Engi. So far i really love the dynamics of the class it just seems like i am a little more squishy then i expected? At level 14 i have 930 health and he’s at 1k at level 12. Is this normal or should i be stacking some vit with power?

Totally agree with you, before this nerf, i heard tales of Anet NEVER hiding behind a nerf (I didn’t play much GW1) and was falling in love with the one class that felt absolutely right to me…Ranger. Since the nerf I’ve been keeping a pretty close eye on these forums hoping for acknowledgement/course of action. Even got a response back from the GW2 twitter acct saying to just keep an eye on the forums, since that is where we can “supposivly” communicate with Anet moderators. Right now my love for this beaaaaautiful game is fading, which is saddening because with no monthly fee i was planning on a long GW2 career.
Currently my Ranger is 55, if i had to chose another prof i guess it would be thief. I’m kinda sitting back to see what happens tho, maybe it is unintentional they will fix it or just the issue with QZ. All i know is the next character i start will be the last unless something changes.

I’ve never used tooltips :P lol. Is that where you see DPS numbers / speed of attack?

Way to address those real problems making people re-roll after hours of dedication. Can we addressed maybe even a timeline? ughhhhh

I’m just worried about re-rolling then getting kittening slammed after another 50 levels.

Sitting here at work i’ve been seeing everyone cry over this patch for PvP, my question is how is it effecting PvE play?

Does it unlock at level 7 like every other prof or no?

Are Ranger’s able to swap weapons? Watching my girlfriend play this prof i didn’t see the icon like i do with my Necro. I could totally be wrong but she is 11 and I see no option to weapon swap in combat. But the few Ranger PvP vids i’ve seen have been able to swap.

Can anyone help?

Okay so i have a level 13 necro and am really digging it, but my main focus is do to dungeons once i level up but everyone is complaining that necro is broken. Should i continue or re-roll another class more suitable for dungeons?

What about enchantments? Is that wrapped into crafting as well? I heard you unlocked boxes by using crafting, is that correct?

Okay, and PvP. Is there any PvP at your current level or is it all skill based at level 80?

And when everyone is talking about Conditions they are basically DoTs correct?

Okay, also when you say crafting is that one single prof (don’t know what they’re called in this game) or does it break down into heavy – light armor?

Okay so I have been playing for about a week now, and I have been absent from MMO’s since pre-bc WoW days. So right now I’m level 10, and wondering how to acquire decent early-game items. Should i stay with these greys? If not where/how do i get a better weapon and armor?
