Interestingly I am annoyed by this for more than one year. I didn’t consider posting about this until today, but I’m fed with this. Especially because the camera zooms, and I need to re-adjust the camera when I’m revived. It is really disturbing while fighting the new Tequatl since it requires to stay focused (on the fight) and a wide field of view is mandatory to be efficient.

So please allow us to remove this unpleasant effect, at least this zoom.

I’m sad to see that Arenanet people sweat to create an awesome add on, and in the end farmers get more reward than those who play the game the way it was made for.

Arenanet, if you want to stop farming, just make it less profitableā€¦ And if you want to see how people farm, just log on the game.

I’m so sad about that because this event is the best so far to me. It reminds me the events for end of beta weekends.

Note to farmers : don’t talk to me, I’m not interested in your opinion.

Hi,

I wonder if ArenaNet tweaked something about repop recently. There are places where it is just insane: the time you kill a couple of enemies, the onesyou just killed already respawned. Therefore sometimes you are faces with an infinite battle from an infinite wave of mobs. This is not challenging, this is boring.

The problem isn’t that players don’t like the PvP maps….the problem is that ArenaNet put PvE content INSIDE of a PvP map. The solutions that the poster you quoted would make it so that the PvE’rs that aren’t really contributing to PvP can get in, get out, and open up some slots for those that DO want to PvP…..or who knows…maybe they’ll stick around and help out.

It would also force griefers outside of the jumping puzzle where they are visible to the zerg.

The jump puzzle is hard enough. And I wonder why PVE players don’t have the right to do this jump puzzle because PVP players decided so. OK we play on your battlefield. Sorry for that. I will leave it as soon as I can. Previously I had a rather positive impression on WvW. Now I really don’t like the mentality of this region. For instance I was on a ledge, bothering nobody, just jumping around, and trying some parts several times because I fell from time to time. An XXX shoot at me with an arrow, I fell and I to start from scratch. This guy didn’t want to kill me. He just want to bother me. Well, I don’t think this is how the jump puzzle is designed.

So I would like to do this jump puzzle, without people like you bothering me Casita.

I was about to write a post about that. Blessed is the search feature.

I currently have to make a huge effort to stay polite with my words. I really get… annoyed by… brainless players whose only goal is to prevent people from doing this jump puzzle. I have no other intention when entering this jump puzzle to have this… lovely achievement. I don’t even care about the chest, and I really don’t care at all about any siege weapon plan or any item I could get in this chest (even if there is a legendary weapon). I just want to do the… lovely jump puzzle!

I tried many times. And I fell many times like on many jump puzzle. Right there is a challenge. Well designed, I rage a lot, but that’s the point of jump puzzle. But when you arrive at the middle of it, after struggling with many attempts and… XXX (no correct word possible here) players just have fun jumping by groups of 4 on you… I really don’t want to play the game anymore. The fun stops here.

And hell I surely don’t want to involve teammates in this. This is definitely not the solution.

I see that people want to complete the monthly achievements and that it is easier to slay harmless players than going to the battlefield. I see they must be laughing their… belly, chatting together on Teamspeak (how naive was this guy… lol).

Well you get the picture.

So I just hope anyone from ArenaNet is reading this, and here are my proposed solutions:
- immortality and no effect in the puzzle area
- no weapons and spells in the puzzle area
- automatic revive (farm issue)

If it is a matter of reward in the chest: remove siege weapon plans and any WvW related items in the chest.
If PVP players want it like this: let the choice of being neutral in the zone. PVP players can have fun together, and leave PVE players alone…

Please do something about this, I beg you.

This is awesome. However I cannot type the character @ in the login field (even with a copy/paste or the character viewer app). So unfortunately I cannot login.

I tried my Id as well (Tomā€¦) but the system expects an e-mail address.

What 5 professions do you want to fill up your character slots?

I bought 3 slots the first day, so I have one character for each profession. This makes things way easier.

Besides gems are very cheap these days with game money.
