So I had an epiphany…

Why the hell are we the only class that, in order to access the new and shiny mechanic, has to get it out of the Grand Master trait?!

So lets take some examples first:
- Spec into Berserker and you get: Berserk; Primal Skills; Torch; Primal Burst Skills.
- Spec into Reaper and you get: Wails; Greatsword; New Death’s Shroud with a full 1-5 new abilities on it.

Seems about right, take the spec, get the extras.

So heres thief:
- Spec into Daredevil and you get: Staff(if you even wanna play it anyway); +50 endurance; Physical Skills.

Our REAL flavor is in the GM traits, so we basically lose the chance to have actual GM traits.

Don’t get me wrong, I love it so far, but couldnt it have been made better?

Heres my suggestion:
- F1 (Steal) and F2 (Pocket) remain the same.
- F3, F4 and F5 become 3 diference “stances” that enable the type of dodge you want to perform.
Pick f3 and every dodge throws the cripple daggers; pick f4 and every dodge is a dash that grants swiftess; pick f5 and your dodge turns into a leap finisher that does landing damage.

I’m not being greedy as to suggest actual “F”-based class mechanic right? I mean god kitten it ANet the Daredevil looks amazing but at the same time half-kittened as kitten.

Thieves use PISTOLS. You know… gunpowder that blows bullets out of a barrel…. Wanna know what other weapon works like this? A RIFLE.

But my 2cents here are:

- Clicking;
- Bad player;
- Bad build;
- Ultrabad oponents;
- Trying to stealth with revealed on;
- Lots of CnD in thin air lol.

First clip you take FOREVER to flip a camp, 2 BADS appear and u just troll around doing no damage whatsoever. Then a third party shows up and kitten s them, oh and also kitten d you, but you didn’t include that part u just skipped ahead.

Second clip you kill a “double-signet-dont-even-know-whatthehell-hes-doing” thief that just bleeds to death while throwing arrows into the air, proceeding to run away and /laugh when AGAIN a third party shows up to choochoo eveything… lolwut?

Third clip you won a 3v2 congrats LOL. Warriors cant do much against condis as it is either way you were getting your rectum handed to you 1v1.

Fourth clip you won a 2v1 congrats LOL, on top of that against a ranger that does nothing about the SINGLE CONDI stack he has and doesn’t combo-field heal himself.
You then proceed to troll around doing minimal damage while both parties actually fight each other and later on your server shows up and kills everything. Bravo sir.
(the rest of this clip you pretty much do nothing)

Fifth clip is basically a bunch of allies with you killing people (including upscaleds) by outnumbering. (please don’t mention the mesmer, even killing an npc is harder than that).

Mister, i defecate on P/D thieves on a daily basis that are 50 times better than you both in build and skill.

BEST overall wvw build? lol… I’m glad you added IMO to the title because that’s just that: a terri-bad player’s opinion.

Please do continue to do videos, its entertaining if you take it as a joke.

As requested by the OP, a video of me flipping a camp including stats page, gear and build.

The problem lies within the players itself.

If the thread is in the sPvP section, wvw/pve has nothing to do with it and shouldn’t be brought up there.

On the other hand sometimes people ask the wrong question as in “whats a good d/d build for pvp?” when they actually mean wvw (which is still pvp if you dont pvd all day hue).

I agree with Harrier, since people can’t communicate properly there needs to be a way to separate.
Be it in a spvp sub-forum intended for classes, or even an actual “Forum Rule” that everyone has to comply with and is very simple: Tagging the thread.

Example:
[sPvP] Whats a good d/d build?;
[WvW] Whats a good d/d build?;

I would say POWER builds such as S/D + SB (dodge build) and D/P + SB (stealth build) would be the best overall wvw builds.

Both have:
- Roaming
- Great condi removal
- Great mobility/escape mechanics (dodges/shadowsteps on one, perma stealth on the other)
- Great AoE damage (nothing beats trickshot/clusterbomb)
- Capable of doing actual damage to siege
- Capable of QUICKLY flip camps
- BURST capability to snipe out high damage problematic targets
- Etc.

Although that build of youres might include a couple of these points its just because the trait lines collide, nothing more. While missing out on other KEY aspects.

I’m saying this in all honesty:

Bad.

- TOO ZOOMED IN.
- More attempts to stealth while revealed is up than I can count.
- You are either key-turning or using your foot to hold the mouse.
- Breaking stealth with a stab and stomping after = bad.
- Target running away = Short-bow or Sword main-hand. Swinging the Dagger in thin air wont do anything.
- Infamous Heartseeker spamming (even worse because targets are usually over 50%hp)
- Stomping a Mesmer’s downed illusion – WOW JUST WOW LOL.

There’s just too much badness in this video.
And for those who think it’s a “honest” video, think again. He shows only winning scenarios (those so-called highlights) apart from one where hes killed (after downing someone mind you!)

The opponents were bad and so is the OP.

Everything Wolfield said thus far has been 99% correct. You are both (Jana and King Noob IV) being pretentious and stubborn and you will NEVER learn with that mindset.

Hello.

As I was working twards completing the 3rd collection achievement of the Nevermore legendary staff, I think I may have found myself a very annoying bug.

At the Ascalon Settlement cemetery in Gendarran Fields, the raven that supposedly spawns only at night, does not spawn AT ALL.

What I mean by this is that I’ve waited there a full “day” and a full “night” and the guy never showed up.

I tried interacting with everything possible on the cemetery or in its’ vicity but to no effect.

Am I missing something here?
