tbh, this is way too drastic of a measure if it was just loading into new maps to refresh the Jade Fragment nodes; the rich Ori nodes were refreshing also which they weren’t supposed to.
I was able to get the untethered achievement after three tries:
1.) Did both sides of Helix before jumping up to the next platform
2.) I was hit by mobs, so that’s not the issue.
3.) I did not get hit by vines
4.) Didn’t die
Also, the achievement was earned after I jumped up to Faolin, and I soloed with my Necro.

This happened to me; the work-around mentioned does work.
This happened to me as well; the work around is to stay behind or extremely close to ally NPCs. If she gets stuck here, it can be fixed by walking right up to them; you have to be very near them almost adjacent.
BiP: increase the self-caused bleeding by two stacks and give party members 5might same duration as self-might
Spiteful Spirit trait could be given a reflect effect somehow.
Maybe dark aura 5sec?: destroys projectiles but hits target with Retal*(3 to 5?) as long as you have the retal buff.
Then the small amount of retal it gives would be justified, so the dark aura doesn’t do damage for it’s full duration unless a party member gives you it.
^_^ those are my thoughts for necro PvE buffing.

Wow that is pathetic. Elite dps should be 1-2k maybe even more.
I suggest only using a single-attunement build in pve only,
using it with staff only, and specializing in that attunements trait line.
air- would give u CC, AoE damage
fire- direct dmg, and burning
earth- CC, condi, support via weakness
water- support healing, vulnerability
Magi -u can combine water and air trait lines.
Rampager – Earth and Fire(gives you burning on crit.),
or Air and Fire(again using burning on crit),
or Earth and Air trait lines(requires staying in earth mostly) takes u giving out vulnerability on crit and using weakness from AA- giving a nice support build.
Just some thoughts I’ve had for making a single-attunement build
I made the magi build successfully. Using number two for damage.
I wish they didnt get rid of the ‘holy-trinity’ I lvoe healing, and dearly miss it….
tbh, staying in one attunement for PvE-staff has always been better even though most people don’t know it.

Earth Shield for Underground Fractal
Fire Axe for Offensive support AoE might-fireblasts (most people dont use this because random party members will pick it up and AA with it which decreases party damage.)
LH is used in glass-canon PvE builds (some people dont like glass builds -me)
Also party members will pick this up leaving the elementalist hanging dry.
So, yes, they are used but their uses are very little comparatively, and the biggest problem is that conjures other than frost bow shouldn’t be shared outside of PvP.
:(
In PvE I love how i cap Vulnerability AoE, in a way its a form of offensive support.
I know it’s not as good as reflect and party wide buffs, but in a way we do have support.
We do not have many options for support in PvE because vulnerability and conditions are all we have.
Vulnerability can be given by others who have more forms of support along with it making us weak in that aspect.
This is the problem with PvE necromancer, not anything else. And, yes, we are viable in all game modes, just not best in PvE… if you can’t recognize this then get off.
Maybe some beneficial changes in the future could be:
BiP: increase the self-caused bleed by two stacks and add five might to party members.

-Bear form for Thermo fractal.
Flesh Golem for boss fights for the LF gain of its death.
- I wish there was a LF gain elite skill other than the death of FG.
Rage sigil for when you are in Death Shroud. For max burst.
-Always hold staff for trash mobs for multiple LF gain per hit,
or switch to staff before you go into DS for the highest weapon strength.
Dagger m/h since it has a higher LF gain than Axe long-term wise single target.
(18sec worth is 54%LF on dagger vs. 48%LF on axe
[dagger AA is 2sec, and axe ghastly claws occurs every 5sec with the last occurrence of ghastly claws having a duration of 3sec afterwards + the extra attack from 0sec], and dagger also gets you into melee range to get the most out of spectral armor/ walk giving higher net LF gain.

Healer build with as much Aegis as possible.
Shield of the Avenger because it gives Aegis since 9/9/14 patch.
That Signet of Mercy, or Bow of Truth whatever is most appealing to you.
This would be fun for fractals since you have three anti-projectile skills.
A fun phantasm build with sword on m/h on both weapon sets.
I have not tested if Signet of Ether with random Protection is enough to sustain Fractal dmg.
The thing I hate most about wells is the change from GW1 – GW2, and that the duration of each well is so pathetic; I also dislike the animation its very weak.
It even goes against what they have up on the official website necro page. “These persistent, stationary spells allow necromancers to control the area around them. Well of Blood, for example, regenerates all allies within range.”
hmm persistent-lasting or enduring . Yes, five seconds is very ENDURING…. lame
A party offensive-support build with perma-fury and 21-25 might.
Each buff u get adds 1% dmg increase.
For fractals.
It’s kind of pathetic but Racial Elites > Ele Elites since 9/9/14 patch…
