Guild Wars 2

Hi
Just returning to the game after a lengthy layoff due to work commitments.
Now I am semi retired and I have way more time and am looking for an active guild to hang out in and importantly do group events with.
Would love to find an active guild with mature members who are focussed on doing guild activities and helping one another. Be nice if the guild members were chatty as the social side of gaming and feeling part of a like-minded group is (for me) the best way to have fun gaming.
I live in the UK and I am free to play most afternoons and evenings (EU time).
My characters are currently on Gandarra if that makes a difference

So if I understand this correctly the developers say nothing is wrong – yet I can not get any loot.

So I give up – what a shame as I like this game apart from this.

Good luck to everyone who stays and plays – but this is it for me – uninstalling myself and moving on – oh and making sure all my friends don’t make the mistake of buying this game.

Since the latest patch my loot issues (hardly seem to get any!) have just got worse.

Since the 28/29th January patch I have played on several characters for many hours at different times of the day and night. Farmed on my level 80, levelled my Necromancer 5 levels, completed the dailies every day and even started a new character to try and test things – levelling to 12.

I have even tried playing on a different server to see if it makes any difference.

In all that time I haven’t had a single mini chest drop – that’s no green, yellow or orange items of any kind at all – on any character.

My new character hasn’t had a single item of any loot to use – either weapon or clothing of any type (white, blue etc)

This is about 20 hours of gameplay – all of sudden my bags never need emptying – even part of one of the dailies the daily to kill 5 veterans yielded absolutely no loot of any kind, grey items, cash or anything.

I have put a ticket in to Anet but no response as yet but no official response and its clear that many players don’t seem to have a problem

This has now completely sapped my interest in the game for now :-(

Same here – blown off – dead – now cant do anything and no way to get ressed – what a truly stupid idea.

So the last message was 2 hours ago – no update and not been able to log in at all this evening – never had a problem before.

“Connection failed – please try again”

just like to know what is going on as many others can log in as normal it seems reporting the problem has been fixed.

Bit worried its not getting a priority – or that I should be doing something at my end to try to fix it.

EU

Had no issues at all until last few days since the last patch. Now I get variable input lag which has kind of killed the game. Tested my internet connection and no issues there and no problem with other on-line games either(The Secret World, Rift and WoW MOP)

It seems to vary by zone but I was playing with terrible lag today in a mid level zone that really seemed deserted (no-one at events etc) and had bad lag – a second or more delay between pressing a skill and it going off.

Frame rate is very high 80-100 constantly – no issues at all there

Playing on Desolation EU (well was but cant really play with input lag like this)

Any feedback on a fix would be good

Doesn’t work – very very disappointing. The most boring long long repetative fight against the Sovereign Eye.

Goes invulnerable with zero health after a little cut scene and thats it – won’t move on. Stays invulnerable on zero health – spitting out his lasers or whatever

Did it twice and same result – what a waste of an evening

Cant join a new guild anymore – getting a network error – tried re logging etc and different characters but cannot now join this new guild. Seemed to be working fine until now. Is there a limit on how many guilds you can belong to? (already in 4 guilds – one being my own)
