Guild Wars 2

There should be a mid and a high level dungeon in each map, including the starter maps that would make them all have a reason to come back. The dungeons could have a guard outside that would only let people of the minimum allowed level in because of safety or something.

This would populate all maps with players of all levels, making it more social as well.

Coming from… OTHER mmos, GW2 is actually one of the more difficult to level in. In WoW, you can hit the higher level cap in just a few days.

I hate how there are no interesting faces for humans. Just stock generic Barbie and Zac Effron.

Why can’t we get a Jeff Bridges, or a Philip Seymour Hoffman?

I am all for hard mode with harder mobs, and a harder boss, or even better, alternate mobs, alternate boss, and alternate dungeon layout.

My trading post never loads. I have deleted my temp folder, as instructed before, and it never fixes this.

It always looks like it does in my pic, no matter how long I wait. It is just not loading or something.

Temporary content is neat and fun and it feels like the world is alive, since it keeps changing every time I check in.

Any kind of PvP is good in my book. It expands what the MMO can be.

That is kind of worrisome, as I do swear a bit myself, but the game isn’t rated M, so we are still bound by that and the EULA, if there is anything regarding profanity in the EULA that is.

Sorry for the double post, but I would also like to mention that there are several NPCs with interesting worn, or older faces, and not just the personal story characters, but just atmospheric NPCs and shop keepers that have older looking faces. Why can’t we just have access to those faces in creation as well? It wouldn’t be that hard would it?

I for one would like to play with the Big Nose Ted face in the character editor. He reminds me of Jeremy Renner for some reason, and I think it would be great to have that face in the editor or a similar one.

I would like if there were more human beards like the norn beards. My warrior looks like a young Santa as well. I used the Clint Eastwood face. You know the one. But it doesn’t help.

Voices don’t bother me as much, but it wouldn’t hurt to have more gruff voices, I absolutely agree.

They should add a helm of cartography or something.
Have a whole secret armor set or some kitten. Get like one piece for every 20% of map completion you get or something.

I have been playing GW2 since the beta weekends, and I made a suggestion back then, but nobody seems to have the same problem I do.
My problem is this- When I play an RPG, I like to play as an old man, a grizzled warrior type. A Ron Pearlman or Tommy Lee Jones type. But Guild Wars seems to not want to facilitate that. All humans have young, teenage looking faces, and if you want to play as an aging warrior or a battle hardened veteran, you HAVE to play as a Norn, which only have 2 faces that fit the bill.

I find this very restricting, and a bit disappointing. I would just like to suggest an additional 2 or 3 faces to the human males AND females. Faces that aren’t beautiful, but have character and age. Maybe add some chubby or muscular body types for women, and the same for men. Maybe a hairy body for men too.

These additions alone would make this above and beyond the best MMO and one of the best RPGs I have ever played, and would make it much easier to become immersed.

There is nothing inherently wrong with the dialog, it is just a bit out dated. Reminds me of the writing in Star Trek and in the old westerns. But that isn’t bad.

Just like everything else, there are good points, and bad points, but we should instead focus on more important immersion breaking aspects, like the fact that all female humans look like teenagers. And that there are no old men.

My trading post just does not come up at all. The window opens, and it is just grey. It will do this no matter how long it is open.
