Spent 40 minutes in map before Chak Gerent… tagged up and organized a squad… then got kicked from the game a minute before event started and world was full when I got back in, got screwed out of the event after organizing and taxiing for it.
Kinda makes me feel like there’s absolutely no point in putting any effort in whatsoever, and I should just show up at the last minute and try to get in on a taxi instead. Maybe that’s what Anet is trying to incentivize? Lazy good-for-nothings who leech off the hard work of others? </salt>
I also experienced this issue. It’s the first time this has been the daily since Alpine came back, so I suspect that’s related.
PVD is only part of the equation. This is a good change because now maybe DR can actually start using their Skill bar. Sorry but you’re going to have to fight for what you want now.
I tried to warn you over a year ago of DR’s issues if you tried to rise in rank. Instead you opted to continue.

Guess what rising in rank naturally does, allows you to adapt your skills naturally and over time.
Guess what all of a sudden being in a top tier does, Culture shock at seeing the blob mentality which nobody on the lower tiers ever wanted or we would have joined all of the people wanting to live off of the hard work of the already established top tiers and transferred.
We understand this is a Beta, and we are here letting Anet know how we feel about it. We will continue to voice our opinions or else Anet will think that we actually agree and nothing will change.
I’m on SF, after the pairing and seeing numbers this weekend on the new lowest tier, it was a cultural shock, and thats a situation of basically not moving up, just more bodies grouped. I can’t imagine what some that spent years around T7/T8 going in to Tier 1 to Tier 3 must be feeling so far. But, I imagine, they now know what a blob is.
Also on SF, and for me the big culture shock is the feeling of being 1v4 all the time now. I don’t know why NSP was chosen as the host server for this merge, but the population feels only slightly higher than it did previously when it was just SF, whereas the borderlands are now always populated, I’m always outnumbered, and EB is a waste of time because the zerg is always outnumbered and the enemy roamers move in small groups instead of 1-2 players who can actually be engaged in a reasonable fight.
Can we just disable the mail altogether until this is fixed? It’s really annoying, and is probably affecting FAR more people than were ever affected by the bug… and those who are affected will now have the info needed to find this NPC anyway.
As long as you can’t spend the rewards, it remains very easy to tell whether you’ve received them or not. The Mistforged weapons are not the only rewards, so if people start buying ascended accessories and/or other such items, it will be much more difficult for Anet to tell who got their rewards and who didn’t.
Yes, it is a serious problem that Anet waited so very long to address this problem, and that they still haven’t addressed this same problem from Season One, but that’s no reason for people to whine like spoiled little children rather than at least attempt to understand the reason Anet has chosen to postpone rewards for everyone.
A ‘can use’ box would be far more useful, since that would cover both equipment you can wear… and dyes/recipes you can learn.
Isn’t there something Anet can do to at least manually reset dailies for everyone while they’re working on fixing the bug? It’s really upsetting that I’m stuck unable to craft ascended materials, unable to acquire laurels, and unable to complete new dailies indefinitely, since Anet can’t even be bothered to give us an ETA on a fix.
