Hey just a question,

I was fighting a Ele on my necro and every time my scepter hit it said immune for the condition. I looked at their buffs but nothing that would have caused it. I peaked at the tree too but didn’t see anything specific. Can someone enlighten me?

Right, it won’t hit with 10% more damage, but does the faster attack just equal out to 10% more damage anyways in a given amount of time?

Is it safe to say the new Read the Wind 10% attack speed increase roughly translates to a 10% damage buff, meaning it will outpace the 5% damage buff from Eagle Eye (obviously ignoring the range increase)?

They have already stated that if the cap goes up, new gear will be available. Your lvl 78 exotic is not as good as your lvl 80 exotic. Don’t expect your lvl 80 ascended to change or be better than your level 85 ascended.

Well anyway, did a few dungeons (AC / COF) before I did today’s event in Divinity’s Reach.

Lo and behold, 75 cogs. I can now only get one minipet if I do all 5 days.

Great job applying these diminishing returns to event rewards AN, did this not cross your mind, or is it another method of being money grabbing devs?

I like the way you whine then demand your 25 cogs, like your life depends on it. Nevermind asking politely or thanking Arenanet for this great free content. You must be a real blast at parties.

There is no way anyone is done. We are still fighting off reinforcements right now.

Crashed in the same one twice, two separate occasions. Whole party crashed, not just me.

People are standing around for hours for a single character to give them some text. Seriously? He tells you to talk to another guy, you coerce him and then report back. It all is about less than a page of text and you get a jug of karma.

1) They posted on here the status of the event.
2) They extended the event and you do not need to complete it for anything
3) If you do complete it, you get a jug of karma. That’s it. Get over it.

I agree with Kouken. If you implement a LFG system we lose a level of social interaction. I personally get a huge kick out of sitting in LA, spamming or waiting for someone to say LFM and then I send them a tell and get the shiver of excitement when they say “invite yourself.” Oh, I just feel so part of the team that way!

And yea, next thing people are going to want the ability to instantly teleport to dungeons with waypoints or something. Just lazy.

It is just a waste of time to have to spam to get a group. A queue or list would help immensely, and for the social aspect most people I end up being friends with are ones I ran instances with and liked. It would let us branch out more imo.

YES! I don’t know why I don’t see more people clamoring for this. Especially without a needed trinity, a system that just threw you into a party would be so amazing.

Thanks guys. I’m in the US Navy and my squadron has an odd deployment schedule (Deployed one month, home one month for about 6 months gone a year.)

You both bring up a good point, I need a guild where I know people! I don’t have any friends in a guild I could ask. Guess I have to make that the first priority.

Oh I understand and love the support. You can’t build to specific schedules. And longer durations don’t guarantee anyone can always make the event anyways, but I see no harm in at least stretching them a bit longer!

I love the idea and approach but if I could make a request regarding duration of events. The event only goes for 9 days and ends immediately after Halloween. Why not extend it a bit? A lot of your effort went into making it great so why not 2 or 3 weeks.

Personally I’ll be deployed until the end of the month, and as soon as I am back the event is over. Would love to see this and future events have longer durations.
