I just tomed a guardian up to 80 and threw my ascended gear on her, I’m running gs / mace+focus with full zerker
I started doing scale 45+ fractals. I have 12k hp and am getting almost 2 shot by some creatures. anybody have any advice? i didn’t have any issues at all with my warrior in full zerker, but for some reason my guardian seems extremely squishy in comparison
Highly recommend warrior. Greatsword is super fun, HIGH mobility, great sustain with Adrenal Health (spend adrenaline to gain a powerful hp regen). Full zerker gear.
There is really so much in this game, I can’t imagine logging in and not having anything to do.
I do it for the AP and the gold helps with my crafting materials. There are so many gold sinks in this game, I’m curious as to what kind of inflation happened with the introduction of the 2 gold. Seems to me like more spending power would be more beneficial to the market, it wasn’t anything extreme.

The only way there’d be even a chance of that happening is if they limited it to a certain number. Or else people who have never crafted ascended items could just pop in and make entire ascended sets instantly, which would defeat the entire purpose of the time gate in the first place.
Where would the materials magically come from?

Yes the blue blade is supposed to disappear when stowed. All the blue glow parts on these weapons are supposed to disappear on stow.
Personably I like this bug more than the intended version

Any time I try and get some buddies into GW2, they are always appalled by the fact that there 3 game modes, 2 of which have 1 map.
3 games modes. 2 with only 1 map. I love the pvp in this game but from an outsiders perspective, I can’t wrap my head around it.

You can also open your world map and maps with rewards show an icon. If you mouse over it the rewards will be displayed.

People actually play Orr? What do you even do there? I thought that place existed only to farm that Melandru shrine.
Lots of people use Orr to level their masteries, or now they farm map rewards when the map rewards are good. Plenty of people still doing event chains in Orr. I was there just yesterday. Got plenty of heavy moldy bags.
The best value this week is the champ train in Frostgorge because the map rewards are powerful blood, giant eyes and charged lodestones.

It wastes 2 utilities, but looks awesome af. Totally worth it.
Whenever I do this, my spectral recall teleports me back to the wrong place (i.e. not next to the downed victim even if they didn’t move)

Well since u said u wonna do wvw, i would say, when u hit 80 with warrior , go engi or ele or , well any other class and lvl to 80 for wvw. Warrior is joke.
WvW is mostly zerging, so I don’t mind being underpowered in that regard. My main focus will just be min/maxing gear and doing PvE content on my warrior. I plan on doing structured PvP (arenas) on my necromancer, not my warrior.

I purchased GW2 about a month after it came out and played until around level 55, but ended up taking a long break. I came back a couple weeks ago and am enjoying the game more than ever. I’ve fallen in love with my GS warrior.
I’m currently 78, but will be 80 tonight. I’d like to focus on end-game content (I realize that it is more open-world content, fractals, and dungeons than actual raiding). I plan on doing WvW on him, and I leave arenas for my terrormancer.
So, my question is, once I hit 80, how do I begin the pursuit towards my legendary sword? More specifically, what the heck even sword should I shoot for? Do all GS warriors use the same legendary weapon?
This might belong more in the general forums than warrior, but I figured y’all would know best. My crafting / end-game knowledge is severely lacking.
