I came here to report the same issue and I’m glad im not the only one experiencing this.
Apparently, there should be a new build in a couple of minutes, so we will see if it gets fixed then.
Edit nr1: Daily achievement apparently resets too upon a character switch.

The only thing i dislike about this mini game are people who just run around looting food and then spend the next 5 mins hiding.. Where is the fun in that?

Well, it is different. In the wintersday mini game you needed people to play well, in this one you need others to screw up.. Nevertheless its driving me insane:<
edit: I got lucky and joined a game where everyone else was going for the achievement so we helped each other out.

I both agree and disagree. I like the design of the clocktower, I think there should be more jumping puzzles like this – in the open world. But holiday events should be about relaxing, not making some players pull their hair out and ragequit the game…
