Guild Wars 2

I really don’t know if this is a bug or not. I recently returned to GW2 after a long, long absence. I had several jade weapons in the bank but they now say skin locked and I can’t send them to friends or sell them. All the aetherized and super adventure skins weren’t locked, though. Just kind of curious, if anyone has an easy answer.

Hydrophidan, please refrain from revealing TC strategic information to the enemy. Spies could mess up our feng shui.

You have to give us credit for our skill in diplomacy. Apparently we can have a deal with Yaks for two weeks where we team up on FA, then after costing Yaks second place by taking their keep at the last moment in the second week, we can team up with FA, take out Yaks, and reward them by immediately seizing their keep.

Salute to FA for one heck of a keep defense this afternoon. One of my favorite moments. Could have sworn we’d get it when we marched in with the two Omega Golems. You guys did a lot with limited resources.

Threads like this are the number one reason I steered most of my groups toward FA targets in the latter half of this week, largely ignoring Yaks. Yes, FA have been our fiercest competition in points, but the last few days, I just really want to hear your teeth grind.

That being said, however much kvetching and however many conspiracy theories I’ve seen on the boards this week, you guys put up one HECK of a fight at your keep this afternoon. When we marched in with the two Omegas, I thought for sure we had it that time. It was a wonderful battle, and one of my favorite WvWvW moments (if you can call an hours-long battle a moment).

I’m very much looking forward to this next week. I think we’ll all be better teams for having played each other.

The Tarnished Coast has had two great weeks of WvW and it looks like we’re on our way to a third. And we’re winning (at the moment), which is always nice. We’re the unofficial RP server, we’ve got a pretty good community and some great guilds. We’re not the toughest server in the world, but we’re working on improving.

If you’re looking for a place where you can work with others to improve both your own and the servers performance, TC’s a great place. If you’re looking for a place to sit around kvetching in /team playing armchair general and insulting people, look elsewhere.

Before it ends, I just wanted to thank YB and FA for another great week of WvWvW. It’s been a lot of fun, and a good close match.

Primary Tactics Used: I’ll do whatever needs to be done. I haven’t been commanding long enough to have a signature style.

Works alone or with other Commanders: Lots of great commanders on TC, but I primarily work with Zudoari, working golem transport, portal bombing, hitting secondary targets and holding supply depots.

Style of Commanding: Casual, polite and open. We’re all there to have a good time, not be bossed around and treated like cattle. I’m no military genius, but I do my best. I don’t interact with /team kvetching, while still keeping an open ear to advice.

Way you communicate best: Guild Vent and Game Chat. If things get really hectic, I have friends convey info in chat.

Whatever the score is on Friday, I just want to thank CD and YB for a great week of WvWvW. I think this has been the best week thus far in terms of prime time competitive play and close scores. We’ve had some really epic battles and I’ve learned quite a bit playing against such aggressive and unrelenting adversaries.

I hope the somewhat bitter views expressed by a few on this forum aren’t representative of the majority on your servers. I wish you both the best, look forward to the rematch, and hope that next week’s match-up is half as fun as this one!
