Hello,
I recently got my third legendary, and i noticed the legendary collector achievement pop up. However, it said that i have two leggy’s instead of three.
That’s when i realized that i did not equip my sunrise before i made eternity and sold that.
I own the skin of twilight, sunrise and the juggernaut, shouldn’t i have three legendaries unlocked in the achievement?
Cheers and happy halloween
The game is two years old now, and it has no in-game indication of any latency.
Last two weeks the game has been a dreadful lag experience.
Just now, i got 3 dc’s in a fractal run of an hour. This is simply not acceptable.
To top it off, i get a dc right at the end with Mai trin’s health down at 1%, resulting in relogging to lions arch and i get nothing at all.
For the love of Balthazar, at least get some average ping indicator so we can check in-game when lag occurred. This makes it easier to narrow down whether it’s my network, A-net or anything in between.
Is there anything gonna happen with the Bloodstone dust, Empyreal fragments and Dragonite ore?
I’ve been saving these for the idea that something else may come up that may be worth it. I have no ambition to create ascended gear and thus i have absolutely no use for them.
But, i know how things work in Guild Wars. You never throw stuff away because it may someday become of some value.
Now that i have 4 bank tabs and 6 characters loaded with this stuff, i’m really getting annoyed.
I’m gonna be very let down if they suddenly decide it’s worth something. But on the otherhand, nobody has said it’s not gonna be worth anything.
I’m hoping for some confirmation that it will not be used anywhere else then ascended craftings, so i can throw atleast some away without feeling bad about it.
Any info on this is more then welcome, Cheers.
I have no experience with the steam overlay, what i can tell you is that Guild Wars 2 does not like overlays.
I’ve used teamspeak overlay in the past which crashed the game, so did Radeonpro.
I decided to disable it all so it runs. I don’t think there is anything you can do about it at this point. Disabling it may be the best option.
88C is hot! Open that case, make it dust free, if it is then make sure the heatsink is connecting properly. Be sure airflow in the case is decent, (warm air out, cool air in)
You can take a break in sub games too. No one forces you to finish out the rest of your sub if you don’t want to.
Difference is in a sub game, like WoW, you might waste a few bucks if you take a break. But you can come back and all content is waiting for you. Hardly anything, if anything, is ever temporary in a sub based game…
In GW2, you won’t be wasting a few bucks but you WILL miss out on temporary content, which is most of all content patches.
Good points, but I can tell you, as someone who happened to take a break while playing WoW and came back. Good luck trying to do the old raid content. Nobody is even interested in it because the drops aren’t the latest tier. So, in effect, you do actually miss out on that content. Sure it’s there, but there is no incentive for anyone to run it and you can’t do it alone.
Kind of like Arah paths, nobody does them besides solo runners or team’s who sell em.
Takes a miracle to get into story.
There is, and has been, one thing that keeps me going and engaged and that’s having my own personal goals for my characters.
It’s not about ANET setting goals for me, or rushing to complete the next thing that ANET puts out, but instead following and actively playing towards the goals I set for myself.
Also, I try and keep myself in check and make sure that I don’t get so caught up in chasing rewards as to forget that this is a really beautiful game that can be a lot of fun to play.
What are your goals for your Characters?
If you think Dungeons are boring, try solo or duo Arah path 3. Have fun.
I prefer playing in a team, at least when that team shares my goals. Unfortunately right now people force others to play zerker and stack our way through. Then there is the problem that whenever a party leader decides to leave, you get kicked out which is ridiculous. And without 3000AP you’re gonna have a hard time getting in a dungeon.
But besides that, being able to do a dungeon path solo is one of the best examples of how bad these dungeons are. They are developed for team play, yet by skipping, stacking and other “exploits” that are possible, you can do them solo. No offence, but thank you for proving my point in a way i didn’t even elaborate yet.
This is not the players fault. People want to do a run witin 10 minutes, not 11 or 12.
So they wield zerker gear and bash people for not doing so. And so they stack and remove you from the dungeon is you do not follow up that order.
TL;DR, No dungeons for me, they’re the worst part of the game by far. Solo or not.
There is loads of content comming out with the living story. And i want to experience it all, not hear about it from friends or see some 1 minute movies that sum it up.
But i also want to do it in my own time. As i could do in Guild Wars 1. For instance, if i wanted to finish nightfall today then i did it, if i wanted to finish it after 2 months because i would be busy i could also do that.
Same with Dailies. I don’t want to log in when i don’t feel like it. But 7K AP requirements for ARAH kind of force me to so i can keep up. Which leads to chasing owls and rats, doing jumping puzzles I’ve seen over and over, doing fractals which ends up taking 2 hours. It just smells like: “Here is things for you to do, even tho it’s completely useless and boring because it’s repetitive, but hey, you gotta do it anyway”
Best in game community in existence. I’ve left for greener pastures a couple of times. Always end up back here. On top of that I find the game getting better.
Now if dungeons are boring to you, why aren’t you doing fractals? Also new PVP game types are coming out soon. We got a new WvW not too long ago.
I’ve done loads of fractals. It’s a great way of playing, various ways of combat and very active. It’s rare to stack in fractals.
But then there’s two downsides. It’s length is okay, as long as you don’t have the dredge fractal, once you get that, you can count on 2 hours of total time needed to do a complete run of 4 fractals. This is where the second problem comes in. for 1-2 hours, i get a crappy ring that i can’t sell/salvage or wield because i already have it or it’s not the right stats. And i get a ridiculous amount of gold compared to stacking dungeons.
after 500+ runs, i can truly say, i’ve seen it all.
Well, if you find the dungeons boring, why do you need to do the ‘Daily grind to keep your AP up so you can do dungeons’?
The Spring League for WvW is coming soon….maybe take a break until then? Also, LS Season Two looks promising. =)
When they introduce a new dungeon path, and it’s hard. The dumb-kitten players who relate AP to Skill might require a certain amount of AP that i don’t have if i wouldn’t be grinding AP every day.
The Spring League sounds good. I will surely sign up for that.
I’ve been playing since release, and i initially loved the game.
But for me it has been going downhill, here’s why.
-Daily achievements.
This to me feels like chores to do instead off actually playing the game i want.
Grinding achievement points (which i don’t have to do) yet people associate AP with skill and therefor you kind of have to if you wish to play certain dungeons.
Also, some people prefer to keep up in AP with others, while not everyone has time to do so. I for one would vote for removing dailies and adding 3-monthlies for example.
-Dungeons. stack stack stack stack stack stack. Boring, non-active, hundred blade spamming(yes i play warrior main) It’s just terrible at the moment. I prefer having to play interactive.
-Living word.
Great idea! but again, it’s nothing more then achievement grinding. The story is all that keeps me going, Right now, i feel pressured to go in Lions Arch to see afk and noob players ruin my achievements for me, forcing me to do it twice, three times, 4, 5.. you get the point. This “shared achievement” idea came with the Marionette. where it took me 9 times to finally get that achievement i wanted. in which other players who did not understand the most basic mechanics ruined it for me.
VOTE EXPANSION, with non time based achievements. so any1 can play whenever and however they want.
By the way, i own each class on 80. So that’s really not something i can work towards.
I own a legendary which is also a goal i already reached. I have no interest in more legendaries so far.
I’m so bored of logging in, doing those “forced” dailies and then not being able to have nothing to do besides PvP/WvW.
Any ideas before i fall into abyss?
I did a Story quest on my character today. I was sure i had gotten all the achievements in the “Hero” section. But when i finished the story, i got an achievement.
Are there hidden achievements in the Hero section?
I have 29 completed achievements in there. (which shows to be all of em)
Instead of zoning to the capital’s, approach the skill trainer, refund traits, and manually click everything in place each time i want to switch, I’d prefer something similar to Guild Wars 1’s saved templates.
Having saved templates with a cooldown on retraiting (to prevent OP builds) would be perfect imo.
When i play GS, i want 100% damage, not <99%.
When i play Hammer, i want 100% CC/defensive, not some hybrid trash build.
No offence.
I play each class and enjoy doing so because of it’s diversity. My main being a Warrior, i run Greatsword mainly, but recently i found that i like playing hammer from time to time. That got me thinking; Why can’t we swap traits quickly, just like weapons/armor/jewelry.
Whenever i wish to switch from a Greatsword to a Hammer, the traits are completely different, and you have to refund trait point to get Hammer to work more effectively.
But then an hour alter, my guild does a dungeon run, where Hammers are not really good on a warrior, and so i have to switch back up again. This consumes silver, but it’s mainly the time and effort it takes to switch that makes it feel very restricted.
I understand this could be OP, as people in WvW would first be bashed with a hammer and suddenly be spiked by a Greatsword, with full effectiveness. But maybe a 10 minute swap on Re-traiting would solve that?
Right now, the only option is to make a second warrior, but then where does it end?
30-40 characters?
Discuss.
all you do is equip zerker gear and spam hundred blades while standing in a corner.
The only dungeons you will be able to beat that way are cof 1 and maybe ac1 and 3.
are you kidding me?
AC
spider, stack
Kohler, stack
collosus and howling king, stack.
CoE
any encouter with subject alpha, stack.
SE
Prototype Golems, stack
Tazza, stack
I could go on forever.
The point is. Dungeons allow far to much easy stacking up. It’s mindless and boring.
I love GW2, i’ve been playing since release and it’s great overall.
But a few things are really starting to annoy me. I’m actually getting bored. The only thing keeping me going right now is the Lore which i feel is improving.
Dungeons and Stacking:
This is probably the biggest error in the game right now. Every single dungeon path with it’s champions can be stacked. There is no interactive game play at all. Why even have a dodge mechanic in the game when all you do is equip zerker gear and spam hundred blades while standing in a corner.
This is getting so boring, and new players are introduced to this. In fact, whenever a new player won’t stack they get kicked.
It’s far to easy this way and it makes the rewards far to high in the process.
Especially compared to Fractals of the mists, where interactive gameplay is actually good! But then the rewards of Fractals is way to low for doing a 1hour-1.5hour run.
Legendaries:
I own twilight, and i think it’s a good looking weapon. Looks ofcourse being purely personal taste so there isn’t much to discuss there.
It’s the way of obtaining them that i find stupid. Right now, you need no skill at all to get a Legendary weapon, which is supposed to be prestige. All you do is stack dungeon paths, do champion trains all day or get lucky using the mystic toilet.
I really hope they will do something about this
Thanks everyone for your answers, i see a lot of reasons coming up that i did not think off. Very interesting approaches!
Also, as pointed out before. Some skin coloring isn’t really correct (lore-wise)
For example, a black skinned Norn isn’t really possible. We know there were no black Norn in Guild Wars 1. Guild wars 2 being approximately 250 years after the events of GW1, it’s not possible to “adapt” enough in the given time in order to become black skinned.
Just to make sure i don’t offend anyone, This is obviously not meant racist in any way. In fact, i have some darker colored characters myself as a white man.
You have a legitimate topic which I find interesting. However, I hate the fact that you felt like you needed to preemptively include this “apology”. Have we, as a society, become so mindlessly politically correct and apologetic that we have to be sorry every time someone mentions skin color or race?
As far as I’m concerned, pointing out the fact that a brown person is brown, a black person is black, or a white person is white should not be offensive to most rational adults. What would be offensive is making [obviously false] statements such as “that person is a bad player because he’s [insert skin color]”.
Either way, OP, you had a legitimate question as to whether or not people choose to play characters that are the same race as they are and you should not be apologetic for asking this.
I agree with you completely. However, i have had some really bad experience with racial discussions running out of hand because one person felt the need to stamp something non-racist with “that’s racist!” This being an example of such discussions.
I prefer to speak my mind and ensure people i mean no harm then to see people flaming each other because someone misinterprets the whole thing.
Lol.. i’m one of those male players who has 8 characters, 6 of them female
Can’t argue with that, i just love watching woman.. i guess i’m just healthy.
But yes, i can imagine that the darker tint would remove some of the details. I never tought of that. Good point!
Me and my buddy were just talking about the game, philosophizing as we played some WvW. Then suddenly my buddy told me: “Haven’t you ever noticed there aren’t many black skin colored characters in the game?” And he’s right. I don’t see many compared to lighter skin colored characters. So this made me wonder.
Assuming only 1/4e of the game’s players are black people. Shouldn’t it be “logical” for there to be about 25% black characters in the game? Of course, if you wish to play a different skin colored character then that is of course absolutely fine. I’m just wondering if black people prefer to have black skin colored characters or maybe not?
Just to make sure i don’t offend anyone, This is obviously not meant racist in any way. In fact, i have some darker colored characters myself as a white man.
I’m interested to hear from people.
I’ve been thinking about condition damage for some time and i can’t really get my head around it.
The problem is.. conditions stacks at 25, on a mob. This is not a personal stack but a “everyone wide” stack. But the problem with it is, Why do i always see a damage indication?
Example:
World boss spawns, I stack 15 stacks bleeding on it consistently!
Another person stacks 10 stacks bleeding consistently.
That makes 25 stacks.
Then person 3 comes a long and deals 1 stacks consistently.
How come everyone gets to see a damage indication? Because these stacks combined should be 26 stacks even tho it’s capped at 25? Shouldn’t players miss a tick in between sometimes? If people have a personal 25 stack, then why can i never reach my full ticking damage on a world boss, and why is my damage always variable (250-1700) even tho my stacks should always be consistent?
On bleed specifically, as that seems to be your question:
The mob caps at 25 bleeds from any source, the bleed stack debuff on the mob isn’t yours, it is everyones. You may be able to maintain 15 bleed stacks, but that doesn’t mean 15 of those 25 are yours.
The bleed priority system is first come first serve, and then last in first out.
Example:
I stack 25 bleeds on the target myself, someone comes along and hits it with 5 bleeds. Those 5 bleeds will push off 5 of my own OLDEST bleeds. It doesn’t matter how long your bleeds were when they got pushed off, how much damage they were doing, who cast them… they are the oldest, so they get pushed off.
There is no priority system for condition players or builds, and anyone using bleeds will push off the oldest bleed on a world boss if it is capped at 25. You actually push your own bleeds off at 25 if you can self stack that high.
The sad part is that the bleed that gets pushed off may have had 30 more seconds to go before it expired, but Anet decided a system with no emphasis on duration or damage was best, so zerker mesmers make it impossible to maintain more than 1-2 bleeds on a world boss for more than a second or two.
Very good explanation i get it now.
But, one thing makes me wonder. In world bosses, the oldest bleed gets pulled off.
What if 25 players each put on 1 stack of bleeds constantly, shouldn’t there be a pauze in between ticks sometimes? Even tho that never happens?
it’s like some magic number pops up out of nowhere.
I’ve been thinking about condition damage for some time and i can’t really get my head around it.

Could anyone tell me how this system works:
http://mos.millenium.org/eu/matchups/medals
Right there it shows the medals won by a server. But how does a server win a medal?
I’ve seen my server (Gandara) win plenty of times, but never did it get a medal.
Thanks in advance.
I don’t PvP a lot, in fact i mostly do PvP to get dailies done.
However, i’ve seen a few issues that i would like to give some feedback on and maybe get some information because i am not sure on what has been/will be done to prevent them.
Here a sum up list:
-1. Players leaving a game (mostly when losing)
This is annoying to others obviously, because you could end up losing instead of turning the tides.
- Solution: give players who leave the game a 15 minute penalty, so that they cannot join a game.
-2. Players pick the winning side/ switch to the winning side.
-Solution: Remove the side switching option.
-3. Glory farming
Solution: I can’t fill this one in, I have no idea why there are custom arena’s in the first place. (please fill me in)
What i do know about it, is that it yields more glory per hour then any form of “regular” gaming does, and with the Dec 10th update where it’s possible to spend glory on gifts, these guys became “rewarded” and are now among the richest people in the game (assuming they kept most of their glory)
So i guess that’s it for now. I feel there is so much more potential to PvP. I think the reason i don’t like doing PvP is because i suck at it. And because i feel like the game is really unbalanced by these issues mentioned above.
I am unaware of any upcomming changes or past changes that i might have missed.
For instance, i don’t even know what happens if you leave a game prematurely. I never tried, simply because i don’t want to let my team down. Any information regarding these issues is very much welcome. And i am open for a civilized debate
Capes: If clipping does not occur, i don’t see why there shouldn’t be any. GW1 had Guild capes, which i like. It give that extra “we are a guild” feeling. It’s fine by me!
Mounts: Yes and No, here’s why:
No, Mounts are gonna be to big, and are simply not logical. We have waypoints, why would we need mounts, lorewise and mechanic wise?
Yes, One of the best things this MMO has is it’s amazing graphics. It’s such a shame we use waypoints to go across this beautifull world. Instead, Mounts would be “forcing” you to enjoy the scenerie a little more as you travel.
I would have preferred mounts to waypoints. One central waypoint per zone would have been better imo. Then travel further with mounts. HOWEVER, only when the mounts don’t get any insane speed buffs, flying capabilities and more OP stuff.
Fact is, it’s hard to place in GW2, and i’m quite sure it’s not gonna happen.
Instead, i take time to walk places and avoid using waypoints whenever i can.
Normally one would get 5% per daily objective completed.
I just finished three objectives (daily activity, daily wintersday gift opener and daily Mystic forgesmith) and i did not get any XP.
Is this a bug or has it been “updated/nerfed” ?
Heroes were not that good.
Missions like Tahnnakai Temple were not easily done by heroes.
I do agree some hero builds were O.P and generally rushed thru the game with no effort.
Things like hardmode countered this but not enough.
They should give it a try and just try balance things.
As for solo playing, i do enjoy my own time. But some people are just simply not worth the time to play with. Some people are just kittens.
Please A-net bring back a hero system.
I am so done with egocentric, trolling, and hateing players.
In GW1, u would just run in a dungeon with your own heroes. And they did what you wanted them to do.
No namecalling for not doing the thing they wanted you to do.
No trolling, like luring the champion abomination onto you in CoE.
No people leaving who started a dungeon, so that the whole party gets thrown out without anything but time waste.
No more getting kicked for wanting to skip an almost impossible and absolutely time wasting boss such as the Champ Abo in CoE.
Seriously. i’m so done with pugs. I can’t believe there is hardly any1 out there who has any idea how things work. Bring back some heroes, even give them a -50% penalty. I’d gladly play with NPC’s that play decent, even if it takes me twice as long to complete a path, then to be riddled with foolish players.
Forming dungeon parties.. seriously WTF is going on?..
Just a few minutes ago i opened a party advertisement for CoF p1.
Some guys game in and they suddenly votekicked people out. The reason would be, they didn’t have 4k Achievement points.
All i see lately is a lame community of players who suddenly have decided that 4k Achievement points is a must for doing CoF, in other words a half year of gameplay experience.. Who suddenly decided that achievement points define skill?
People who spend their days grinding daily/monthly achiepoints are suddenly 1337 players who get to decide who gets in and who doesn’t.
Another thing what bothers me is the “Zerker only” or “warrior only” parties.
Yes, we all know zerkers and specifically zerker warriors excel in dungeons due to the bad mechanics A-net made on that part.
Still, am i a fool for letting people in who might have less experience and have a chance to learn the experience? even tho it takes me a staggering 5 minutes longer to complete a dungeon?
Sad people..
bump any1 has any idea why this is?
has your pet lost any hp?
Yes it has lol. i let it attack svanirr in Heart of the mists lol
Hi,
I was testing some traits in Heart of the mists on my ranger.
However, two traits don’t seem to work.
- Carnivorous Appetite. Should heal my pet for 415hp whenever it crits. It crits a lot, but i never see any health gain on my pet. Neither when i crit.
- Natural Healing. Should give a natural health regen of 125hp per second. But it doesn’t do anything.
Am i doing something wrong?
Earlier (before the daily reset times) i tried doing my Daily PvP. However, even after getting 4 Top player rewards, i didn’t get the achievement. I could not get my daily done.
Just now, we’ve capped Stonemist Castle in W3, and again, it did not count towards my achievement for capping castles..
I really dislike this and i feel like i just somewhat wasted 2 hours of gameplay before we finally capped SM to just be let down with not finishing my achieves.
Not sure what you expect from a PuG in a Dungeon.
I’m not justifying the other players actions, but getting upset and attempting to seek some sort of “revenge” because you got called a name in an on-line video game is rather childish itself. Report the guy and move on.
You are justifying other players actions.
You seem to think it’s okay for things like this to happen.
When you start up a game, it is meant to be fun. I don’t think calling names is fun, whether it’s in a game or not. The fun factor in RPGs is progress, which takes time.
When you spend time on something and someone takes away your rewards, you would not be happy! Thus it would be time to do something about that.
Actually the group was started by another person who was in agreement with me, but kept quiet mostly. He then tried to re invite me after being kicked but that didn’t work out since the two “bad guys” were spamming the decline icon. Besides, it doesn’t matter who the party leader is, all that person did is click a few buttons, as i did to get into the party. This shouldn’t mean they get to say what we should or should not do inside the dungeon. Instead, the majority of people, which in this case agreed with me, should get to choose.
As for the skipping content part. The abomination is pretty hard to do. Next to that, the rewards aren’t worth the hold up. We can argue about this like we did in game, but the fact is that doing champ runs in frostgorge sound if by far efficient in comparison to any dungeon related champ that you could also skip.
That being said, i do understand that some people value to play for fun instead of rewards, i do also. Let’s be honest, 95% of the players try to play as efficient as possible, and that means skipping some “bonus” parts, it’s a reasonable decision. Especially seeing the majority of people voted to do so.
All they did was provoke verbally, to which i did not reply. So the only reason they wanted to kill the champ is because i voted to skip, which could potentially start another discussion, which happened of course, leading to the part where we got kicked and left with nothing but a broken armor and a bad feeling.
@justtrogdor
Of course that was my plan of action. But i for one know we need more of a justice system. Of course it would be hard to monitor every player’s behavior, and of course the report system should do it’s job.
But i feel really let down, I’ve never been this angered towards another player because this simply shouldn’t happen.
I agree with slaughterfest on the votekick system. But, i’m fine with it the way it is, as long as i get justice. What would really help me, is having some confirmation on the course of action.
In most western societies we have equal respect towards each other, and we have value’s and morals to stay civilized and respectful. Somehow in games, including gw2, this is kind of neglected and people do what they want to do, even if that “harms” another player. Is it really so strange to get some feedback on a report you made?
If i were to hurt someone in real life, and i get any form of punishment because of it, then the victim would know about it. What about in game? why not give people that satisfaction? If i got confirmation that the person i reported got some kind of punishment because of it, i would feel justified.
My bad, i meant Champion Abomination. Got things mixed up.
Still, that’s not a solution. It’s a sad thing that things like this happen, and i want some justice for this. I really need to see some authority act up here. It’s just so sad that people can be like that, and i think there should be measures taken!
Hi,
I rarely post on the forums, i’m much more of a reader. However, just minutes ago something happened to me that made me really frustrated.
I’ll keep it short.
I got into a CoE party and all went fine. Soon i got into some disagreement with another player about how to do the dungeon, i backed down because i had no intention in discussions and just went with his plan of action.
Soon this escalated when 3 of our party (myself included) wanted to skip the Champion troll, since that’s possible. The other two insisted we did this. I told them to go ahead but we we’re gonna skip it. They replied with “little kitten”.
After that, they intentionally lured the troll upon us and votekicked us out.
tl;dr
I’m kitten ed because i spend 25 minutes in a dungeon being called names and being provoked, and i end up getting kicked for staying polite and mature about the whole thing, even after being called names.
How am i as a generally kind, mature and serious player supposed to do anything about this? I do realize that this is rare. But this is seriously something that i would like to have resolved, and i think this is a worth a multiple report. For verbal abuse, trolling and in some sense, scamming.
At first, the invasion was cool. Really felt like the world was being forced into submission with all the mobs running around.
But this whole reward system messed this event up big time.
I’d say, get rid of the champs, or even better, make them drop no boxes.
This would motivate people to go on with the real intended event instead of just grinding.
Besides, i think the loot if far to much anyway.
My two cents.
You guys want a automatic toggle, whenever the game get’s “heavier” to turn itself down?
That does not work. Simply because everyone has different hardware.
Some run 5ghz CPUs with TriSLI titans.
Others play on a dual core Pentium 4 with a 8800gts.
You’re gonna have to stick with the manual settings change which isn’t a big deal as it’s literally like 5 clicks.
Yes, you could dye weapons in GW1. All of them besides unique’s.
I think this would fit a “cantha” like expansion rather then just placing them in right now.
But i do think they’re great skins.
Good ol’ vermin farming.
I have the exact same configuration besides maybe the RAM.
99% GPU load is a good thing! it means you’re not bottlenecked by your CPU. Which will not happen with a single 7950.
45-60 fps is okay, even tho i’d say it would have to be 60 at all times (outside of heavy populated areas such as Lions Arch)
As for the 99%. as i said, it;s a good thing. However, on stock settings mine does about 70-99%. This ofcourse greatly depends on the vieuw. If you’re looking up into the sky or down on the floor, you will have far less detail that needs to be put on screen, thus the GPU will simply only need 70% of it’s calculating power to do so.
However if you look into the depth with more detail ahead of you, it will naturally require more power to get to that 60fps sweetspot.
And the z77 pro3 motherboard has:
- 1 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot (PCIE2: x16 mode)
- 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot (PCIE3: x4 mode)
- 1 x PCI Express 2.0 x1 slot
In the “1x slot” It will simply not fit, and you will notice that definantly!
in the 2.0 16x slot, it will be more then enough to feed the card the bus speed that it needs. so even if you put it in there, it will not decrease performance.
That being said, you’re good to go! Just wait for updates, things will get more balanced.
Whenever i use emotes like /dance, /laugh or /cry they play double with a slight interval between them, very very annoying.
I have the same when listening to friends’ characters using emotes. Has been like this since day 1.
Whenever an elementalist casts Dragon’s Tooth and gets knocked down/stunned after it has been cast, (when the tooth is hanging so to speak) the skill deals no damage at all.
To me this is very annoying and strange. Direct skills have an advantage over DT now because of it. But also, it seems logical for a object crashing down to deal damage, always!
