Pvping as someone who hasn’t bought HoT is no longer any fun
Also in wvw, Eternal Battlegrounds is very laggy at peak hours and the new borderland maps are huge and unpopulated.
I’ve never pve’d this much in my life.
This happens not only in gaming forums but on nearly any online platform (for example product reviews). People who have negative experiences tend to voice their opinion more often than people who have positive ones.
I wouldn`t say op either, but if you can catch anyone off guard (and not in a zerg) they will most certainly die a quick death. In that aspect I think it`s very strong. It`s mostly just fun to see them die after stepping on a stack of traps though.
Take a look at the latest video on my youtube channel if you’d like to see some roaming engi fights in celestial gear. Even though a lot of people claim it’s bad, I still get good fights, damage and tankiness with it.
In the scavenger’s chasm jumping puzzle there is a piece missing of the rock wall under water under the platform to get out of the water. When you look through this hole you see nothing but water as far as the eye can see.
So I found this hole in the Scavenger’s Chasm jumping puzzle which is clearly big enough to fit me! Sadly I couldn’t enter it, but wouldn’t that have been amazing? The tunnel you see above it could be for the bigger races and this small one for Asurans!
Like the title says, if you are not in a party as a mesmer and you cast Time Warp in a group of players, you will not get the quickness yourself. If you are, however, in a party, even if it’s with only 1 other person, you will always get the quickness.
So I’ve been in plenty of situations where the camera has gotten me killed. Especially in tight areas the camera moves way too much, zooms in or out or even rotates on its own. In pvp I sometimes lose duels when I walk onto a point and my camera zooms in way too far. I just can’t see enough in these kind of situations.
Does anyone know anything about this and if it can be improved?
Hey guys, I just started playing celestial engi in pvp a few days ago and I’m loving it. I use tool kit, grenade kit and elixir s (replace this with rocket boots once I have the gear to use this build in wvw). I was wondering if players who have experience with celestial engi could give me some tips. What skills/kits do you use? What skills do you chain? Are there any traits,sigils or runes that you are very fond of? Any other tactics/strategies?

from what I read about the pvp experiment that is currently going on, I understood that you would still get rewarded for making it to the top 250 (I think?) of the leaderboard.
That would mean ranked games are still recorded and shown on the leaderboard. Yesterday I saw that I only had 2 wins and 0 losses on the leaderboard because the stats got reset. I decided to play a few more games and see how much longer I could keep the 100% winrate up. I played like 5 or 6 games and won them all. Naturally I was very excited and went to check the leaderboard. Sadly, none of my games were recorded there. Even though it already updated a few minutes earlier, I decided to wait a day. Today the games are still not showing on the leaderboard. If it’s supposed to be like that then this topic will be dealt with soon, but if it’s not then I hope this can still be fixed.

Edit: Also when you leave the pvp queue and for example enter a dungeon, the map select for pvp will still show up and you will enter in the pvp match.
It’s come to the point that even with the best performance graphics I get less than 10 fps in zerg fights unfortunately. It’s keeping me from playing to my full potential in wvw.
Sadly I do not remember the name but I believe it was a level 55 or 56 quest. My character is level 56 at the moment. Does this mean I get new quests at level 60 and lose the ones from level 55-60 or do I get those again?
My other characters also have no story line quests anymore (level 13 and 16).
So I had a storyline quest ready and was moving towards the entry point when the server went down for the patch. When I relogged the quest was gone and now I’m left with nothing. Anyone else who has encountered this?
