Rush has always been quite a buggy skill in that in often falls short when it uses the hit animation.
Ive noticed its particularly bad when eunder the effect of movement impeding conditions, chill being the worst!

I have played someone with a build like this and the sustain is nice.
I watched your video, and the reality is the opposing player did not appear to be much of a challenge and there seemed to be very little consideration for what the others players next move was. Further to that there were a couple of wasted dodges.
That being said the build (taking away the video) looks viable, and id like to see it in a more considered duel, rather than in the rush that one seemed to be, so you can actually appreciate whats the build does.
Maybe consider a video of you duelling someone, and then a video of the other players perspective, so that you can see all the blocks and heals etc.

Im not going to say its op, i’m not going to say it isn’t op.
But the couple people saying that you aren’t op because you can get focused fire is a little ridiculous don’t you think? Of course you shouldn’t be able to live if you ganked…
All i can say about reapers is the chill uptime is insane, and is very strong, but they recently at least toned the damage of it down in the last patch, and i think its likely to be addressed further.
For now though, enjoy your necros, its their turn to be top of the food chain for a bit.

Its seems they have at least acknowledged the bug and have been looking into it, so that is something i guess!
I get this constantly on my warrior. sometimes 3 times in one fight. usually get it after a dodge roll, the only way to break it is to dodge roll again or use movement skill.

Does anybody else get the stuck bug constantly on warrior? Im suffering this everyday repeatedely, sometime 3 times in 1 fight! Yet when i play thief i never get it.
The only way to move is to dodge roll or use a movement skill, i usually get stuck after a dodge roll.
I have heard other people experience it but i seem to get this constantly, it really ruins competitive play when you get stuck mid fight.
Ive been getting this for months.
Been playing gs +axe/shield since forever.
Its always been viable in wvw and pvp. Its just had a small buff and now everyone is raging over it. Warrior is far from OP. it had a few seconds shaved off cooldowns on shield and an extra second of stun, which finally makes 100b a little more likely to be useful other then killing downed/ressing apponents.
Warrior has finally been given a buff rather than a nerf, and all of a sudden we are OP? Come on guys grow up.
Maybe your profession has had a nerf to it this latest patch, well, warrior has had so many nerfs over the years its nice to get SOMETHING, which helps build synergies.
Evis range was nerfed long long ago and I don’t remember there ever being any explanation. Also if ur using marauder u have less ferocity than you would have had pre june 23rd patch ( For those who try to replicate old zerker stats )

The funny thing is, they nerfed it, but ALSO made blocking, blinds evades, stealths on other profs easier (auto proccing) and more frequent! So direct and indirect nerfs for axe. GG.
Havn’t seen the hacker on our server but i know this isnt made up. Would be nice for everyone to cooperate to help get rid of this guy. Had enough of being up against hackers in certain servers, let alone being on the same server as one.
No one needs their play time ruined by these guys. So i encourage FoW and BT, as well as UW to report these people. Winning with hackers isn’t winning.
This topic is saying we arent in any real position for anything. The simple reply to your post is – Use GS.
My point is we are in an ok place. Sure okay Condi build are near enough useless for us, but i dont think warriors are in the position that op states:
‘when i play warrior i just feel hopelessly underpowered, clumsy, uneffective, like im some kind of laughing joke.’
Further – when i suggested those condis are a problem, i meant dealing with them since many classes can keep a high uptime on distributing them on us. Warriors just all out fall flat in distributing conditions in comparison with other classes.
Overall im just saying my opinion, which is that I dont feel any of the OP’s statements. The funny thing is, is that people are quick to say warriors are ‘an easy’ class to play. In the games current state i don’t believe that to be true, and timing has never been more important for us.
What i can say to OP is, Just keep practicing and play with some builds, after you start to see better results is very satisfying playing a warrior.

I think warriors are OK at the moment. Condis such as burning and confusion are the enemy for us though, like any other class. Burning is really strong even if you have your condi cleanse or condi ignore skills, 1-2 ticks of burning of 2-3 stacks hits for so much.
I WvW often and the only times i ever really struggle are against heavy sustain burning builds + Mesmers. But then if im not duelling then i just try to avoid mesmers like the plague, like everyone else does.
Still enjoy trying fights with mesmers though its a nice challenge! Can be frustrating but as long as you go into a fight accepting you already knew you might lose then you just laugh and carry on
(Think they should remove the ticking confusion damage for WvW and PvP though, understanded for PvE)
Also UW would really do with some night cappers, as we are often losing everything during nights at the moment!

Id be quite interested if they add other weapons and armor to the game that is not legendary but difficult to obtain through the diffcicult end game content. Id love that.
They would still fill a void for a lot of us players who like prestige.
Just a post to say thanks for doing this, its people like you who make playing GW a much more approachable and enjoyable experience!
A title to go with wxp would be ok. For those people who want to show off their wvw rank in PvE. (Like gw1 with faction titles)

Hi All!
My new guild is recruiting for the Underworld Server!
Im one of the last ‘old school’ UW commanders left on the server, and have decided to create a guild to help new, or existing WvW players in the game mode.
The guild is in its early days at the moment, but have at least got it to the point where we have +5 supply capacity constantly.
Underworld is in a pretty dire state at the moment, as most of our veteran players left in the last few months to other servers for numerous reasons. So the guild is here for anyone and everyone, who wants to learn or improve their WvW gameplay on the Underworld Server. My only request is that people listen to my advice!
One of the future aims is to also ‘train’ or encourage new commanders for the server, as currently we have about 3 (me included) on the server.
Please, if interested, get in touch! Would be great to build up Underworlds WvW community!
Don’t speak too soon, changes don’t always happen immediately so we may still have them next week.
Played ff14 instead.
Problems
Well – technically the expansions includes everything we know + ‘hard engame content’ (all be it we dont know what this is) +the next season of living story ( which people seem to forget about which includes a lot of content over the duration bridging between now and future expansions, WHICH you dont get in other MMO’s typically)
IMO its fine for an expansion, as its an expansion, that keeps on expanding. Sounds good to me.
Of course there is – it allows more synergy think about it.
Id argue that all 3 traits are useful. Reduced recharge on sheild kills = more cc/blocks = more surviability. Its almost like having endure pain again sooner which oh wait, is a GM trait with only 4s and 60s cd.

Well – what would you suggest in GM?
Shield Master after the changes will be very good since it will merge 3 current traits into 1.
I think thats worth GM – maybe you dont use shield doesnt mean it it isnt a powerful trait.

I guess using with endure pain youd only really have 4s after thats run out of it but i guess thatd still be useful!

So what id get would be on a similar level to what i get now
Reduction on movement impeding condis
Condi cleanse on burst
Reduced cd on sheild + reflects (because it is buffed)
The only reason we suggested cleansing ire as a minor trait was because it is a no brainer trait to take making anything else in the ‘choices’…well, not a choice.

Ok – then
1) Armored attack should replace thick skin (because thick skin is rubbish and armored attacks was in originally) issue?
2) Adept trait should have at least 1 moved, because 3 strong is way to heavy a choice when we could ooriinally have all 3 if wanted. Which should be sheild master because it is so strong to GM. Issue?
3) Remove spiked armor as a minor because its going to be OP anyway, and place it as a select on maybe place cull the weak in its place because it is weaker.
Im just looking for moderation, not making it OP. And this is from what PoI suggested not the screenshot in this thread.

Its the GM strait in discipline.
It wouldnt be an OP build, the traits are already in the game, and at present we can mix and match, so my suggestion is to allow us to have those again, rather than nerfing it.

Regarding Juba’s post, i see where you are coming from, but i think armored attacks should be a minor and spiked armor is strong so should be one of the select.
I cureently run thick skin —> shield maser --> andrenal health —> cleansing ire --> armored attacks and then either use dogged or last stand or reflect missiles depending on the situation.
In this case im suggesting that i get i can have a similar build: armored attacks —> dogged march --> andrenal health —> last stand --> cleansing ire—> sheild mastery.
To be honest id just be happy if they moved sheild mastery to GM and armoured attacks back to minor.
Its not OP, sure its slightly buffed with the sheild mastery trait, but thats why i place it in GM, because they are suppose to be strong, and every other class is get some buffs.

They are raising our baseline stats from 926 to 1000 though, and then buffing equipment stats also to compensate for the loss in stats from traits.
Will this skill ever be fixed?
Whenever i decide to try to bring this skill along with me 50% of the time it fails for no reason!
Its either ‘out of range’ (really close by and should be in range) or ‘Obstructed’ by nothing.
A great skill but so unreliable in its current state.
I think the ideal solution would be:
1) Move armored attacks to minor trait and replace thick skin
2) Move sheild master GM because it is really strong now
3) Move cleansing ire to minor trait 3 position, and place spiked armor in its place.
Really, at the moment it looks like Defense line and Discipline line is pretty much going to be locked in for all warriors. just because defense has so many great traits, and fast hands is a must have (IMO). Bit of a shame as this leaves all warriors pretty much running hte same. And a majority would go into strength.

I think dogged march might be a little OP as a minor when i think about it. Armored attacks should be a minor
1) it was there already
2) its been reduced in effectiveness
3) Dogged march should have some weight on it and remain a selection.
I think its interesting your point about cleansing ire, because it is pretty much a must have if youd go onto this line to have any chance vs condi.
However it would be a very strong minor trait to have, i think having it in the grandmaster position (because it is so great) and the current choices in grandmaster dont seem to strong (other than auto endure pain, which personally i never use).
Maybe we could swap one of the master traits with dogged march too? Just a suggestion.

From the suggested changes one thing i think should be changed is the amount of weight in the choices on the defence line.
Across all other lines they seem more balanced it terms of weight, however having shield master, dogged march and armored attack in Adept seems a little heavy.
One suggestion maybe to swap Thick skin and have armored attacks or even dogged march as the last minor?
Cleansing ire may be a grandmaster trait now, (i only say this now as we can only pick 3 trait lines anyway so why not) and then have sundering mace in the major line?
This way every line still has some weight to it, but its a bit more balanced.
As a warrior this would certainly make my build more viable.
What do you guys think?
EDIT: After some conversation below i think this is where i stand.
Thick skin – Remove and replace or buff this trait and place in the Adept line, see suggestion for buff below by Juba.
Adept Trait Armored Attacks – Move this to a minor trait like we had before, replacing thick skin.
Adept Trait Dogged March – This stays put.
Adept Trait Sheild Mastery – Move this to a Grandmaster Trait, because it is so strong now and is worth Grand Master.
Andrenal Health – Questionable on gaining health for max andren and possibly should be gain health on burst dependant on andrenaline level.
Master Trait Last Stand – Stays put, maybe remove the vigor
Master Trait Cull the Weak – Needs to be buffed in some form as in its current state no one take this
Master Trait Cleansing Ire – QUESTIONABLE as to whether this should swap with Spiked armor.
REASONING – Cleansing ire is a no brainer trait, and makes all other traits pretty much void in this part. If cleansing ire was placed as minor trait would open up more build variety here. Spiked armor is also very strong to have as a minor trait.
Spiked Armor – see Cleansing Ire [REASONING]
Grandmaster Trait Sundering Mace – Could be swapped into an Adept Trait to open up space for Sheild Mastery. Also allowing synergy for Mace and Shield.
Grandmaster Trait Endure Pain – Stays Put
Grandmaster Trait Rousing Resilience – Questionable trait may need a change, dont know anybody that uses it.*
