Time: On for normally several hours a day
Other: Certainly not looking for speed runners since i’m rather inexperienced so that would never work haha.

Anyone have a link to when they said the precursor crafting will be pushed to next year? Put me out of my misery and link it QQ.

God i hope they aren’t as delayed as you say. I really want the craftable precursors. I want Bifrost but not going to pay like 800g for the precursor haha.

would be nice to see new fractal levels for sure, ascended armor adds barely any stats though so it’s not even very important haha.

December 24th patch lol… perhaps contains everything left they promised for 2013 as a christmas present. :P

I guess you’re right, they did say it was a 2-week release schedule and when they come out in the month doesn’t really matter. I guess that’s a positive sign.

I’m guessing ascended armour and the new fractals will come at end of November which will be a year since fractals was first added to the game.

How do you figure there will be 5 more updates including this one? We get a new patch every 2 weeks… been that way for months. I guess maybe since there’s 5 Tuesday’s in October we’ll get another update the week after on the 5th of November, either way that only makes 4 updates not 5.

The second patch of the month is usually the smaller one anyway. But it’s weird that we still don’t know what kind of content the Tower is.

You do realize this is not the second patch of the month right?

The new Twilight Arbor patch came out on the 1st of October
The Blood Prince Haloween patch came out on the 15th of October (that’s the small patch)
This Tower of Nightmares is a major patch, it will most likely last for a few weeks into November.

Hopefully it’s just a 1 week thing and we get a major November patch on the 5th of November.

It simply lists some of the features coming in 2013. Since this blog came out the following major changes came out on the major releases (the ones that last 4 weeks) and included the following:

- Crafting to 500 and Ascended Weapons
- Dungeon Reward Changes
- Champion Loot Bags
- Account Magic Find

All some major changes, then came the start of the October update and wow what a disappointment that was, one new dungeon path and 0 things promised in the “2013” blog. Now the preview for the November patch is up (well just before November) and it also has 0 new features promised in 2013.

I really hope this new update https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/october-29-2013/ is just to end Halloween and we get a real update with some real features the week later because 2013 doesn’t have too long left and there are a lot more features promised for this year:

- The rest of the crafts to 500 and ascended armor
- New sPvP rewards system (possibly legendaries in sPvP)
- Scavenger Hunt or craftable precursors (possibly the same thing)
- New legendary weps and a new type of legendary
- New skills and traits
- If i’m not mistaken the council election also promised a new fracs level (this year?)

If the November patch is really this tower of nightmares then wow, that leaves 3 more patches for the year (mid November, start of December and mid December). This seems like a lot to expect given that the middle of the month patches don’t normally contain much.

Anyone else kind of upset at how the new features were rolling out and now they have suddenly stopped? I know gw2 is free to play but seriously what’s with the drop in good content/features.

EDIT: Yea I’m sure more will be added to the preview like always, just hope it’s something big.

Turial, I think the crafted precursors will be account bound (which I would really like). Instead of putting too many precursors out there (which would be bad) if they are account bound it will just mean people who want it craft it and will lower the demand for the precursors that people got from chests/MF and help reduce their prices.

All that remains is to see how hard/time consuming/gold will be required. Which is what will make the difference.

“We’ll also add a new set of account-bound crafting materials to the game. You’ll receive these materials as guaranteed rewards once per day per unique location for completing content within a category of gameplay in Guild Wars 2.

For example, capturing camps, towers, and keeps in WvW will earn you these crafting materials. In the Living World, you can earn them for killing giant world bosses, defeating dungeons, completing jumping puzzles, completing mini-dungeons, finishing some types of guild missions, capturing temples in Orr, and other activities."

So yes, you will need ore/fragments. That’s been confirmed already.

Well I did include Ascended Armor, forgot about the spvp rewards and fractals however, where did you get 2 new fractals from? I know there was one of each council candidate but anet specifically said only the winners fractal will be made, where is the 2nd one your talking about?

So in the looking ahead blog anet mention that crafting precursors will take 500 crafting, a bunch of the ascended materials and some more specific items from different types of content.

Any thoughts on what these specific items could be? Also how many ore/fragments do people have horded and how many do you think will be required?

I’ve got 750 of ea in the bank, planning to get at least 2,000 of ea rofl.

Not sure why you guys are doubting the new legendaries will be out this year… the looking ahead in 2013 blog has been very accurate so far.

- Bi-weekly releases
- Champion boxes
- Dungeon completion changes
- Ascended crafting mats
- Account magic find
- Crafting to 500 (partly)

The only things left in that article not already added are

- Crafting precursors
- New legendaries
- Skill/Trait progression (which is coming on October 15)

2 things left to add (3 including Ascended Armor) and still 4 patches left (2 in November, 2 in December). All this doubt is totally unfounded.

So I joined a grp to try and complete Kiel’s version of these events, he started it at T2 which i didn’t realize until later, we completed it then swapped to T1, the achievement still says i’ve only done 1/2 so I figure i’ll have to do them in order.

Leave, start the event T1, finish “let’s kick it up a notch” and it’s T3 wth? I don’t think it would make sense but does he auto increase the rank when you finish? If so the option “let’s do THAT again” is a little stupid.

Also are T3 and 4 the same? In that I have to do 1>2>3>4 to get the achieve, or after doing 1/2 can I then do 3>4 later?

This is the support…? How else can you contact them? The in-game thing is about reporting bugs only and individual replies won’t be given so that’s not what I need. The support forums here are where I posted last time.

MONTHS ago an issue emerged with the total makeover kits that bugged out the Sylvari glow after clicking “make changes”, even though you could see what your glow would look like in the preview there would be no glow after making the change and consuming the kit.

Last time this happened I posted on a topic about it and the gems were refunded to my account, I looked around before doing this and there were a lot of people saying it was fixed so I tried it again and once again it didn’t work.

I know support can give gem refunds so could I please get that again. Thanks in advance.

I have been doing my share of CoF runs but it seems like less and less people are doing those runs so I figured there were better ways to make gold.

Basically, I very much like the idea of working my way towards gaining a legendary weapon. I’ve broken down all the materials and as I’m sure we all know, the main component needed is gold.

I currently have 56gold and with precursor weapons being as highly priced as they are I feel like I’ll need 800-900g (depending on how many ecto’s I can get from finding rares).

I am not looking to play 24/7 and try to get like 20g a day or something, I’m fine with just farming like 3-5g a day over hopefully just a few hours so my question is, where are the best places to farm and do I need MF gear? I already use omnomberry bars but since my main is a necromancer (conditions) I feel like MF gear wouldn’t overly work.

TL:DR – Just list some good farming places if you know any.

Oh… so you could only change the placement during the beta? That’s a little disappointing… thanks for replying at least.

Never really considered changing it since I think it’s quite nice but in videos I see people with different locations for conditions/boons or their endurance is a bar on the right instead. It might be nice to try those options out but I can’t seem to find the option so I figured I’d just post here and ask instead.

So I just read about the new update coming on the 28th of Jan which says “You’ll earn these brand-new laurels as a reward for daily and monthly achievements!”

I only have a few jumping puzzles and WvW kills before I get my monthly, is it worth waiting and doing them on the 29th-31st? Do you think these new laurels will be included in this months reward even?

Just looking for some input, see what you guys think. Thanks for any replies.
