Okay, I am genuinely confused now. It is not an issue with my timing of steal + other skill as I swapped to d/p to play some pvp and found that shadow shot is missing stationary targets quite frequently.
I also noticed that backstab + steal was missing too but not skills like heartseeker + steal.

I really hope it’s me trying too hard because it’s really putting me off thief when I can’t even CnD + steal, haha.
The game has just been really buggy/odd for me in general. I tried a reinstall of the client after this happened.

I imagine that weakening charge would work fine since it hits multiple times but yeah, seems kinda odd.
It’s a bit odd that it is suddenly happening to me considering I have been playing thief for such a long time now :/
Is anyone having issues with landing skills that are precasted lately (last 2 days)? More than 50% of the time, using a CnD or Larc strike with steal/shadowstep will miss for me.
I’ve never had a problem with this before now.

I agree that burning and confusion need to be toned down, especially burning. I think making burns last longer but reducing their tick damage would be best. As it is, burning can rival zerk builds with the amount of damage it does in a short amount of time.

Your trickery version doesn’t have any extra boon removal. You would need to take Bountiful Theft over Pressure Striking :/
Perhaps you can’t read posts and understand the situation.
It didn’t “double hit” you, you have to walk over the ring to get damage twice. :<
It did “double hit” me as I was walking around in ebg. I triggered the trap right on the edge and it counted as me walking through the ring.
My point is, a utility skill shouldn’t be able to deal 15000 damage – which is more than some of the classes total hp pools. Imagine what some of the other classes would be able to do with a skill that does that much damage.
I love it. The power creep is unreal. I really hope the upcoming balance patch fixes this.

Rather than making it so you get resistance/immunity to conditions, why not make it so conditions applied to you have a shorter duration?
E.g. Conditions applied to you have reduced duration (30%). This bonus is doubled while over 90% hp.
As seen in the recent stream that showcased the camera changes, you can see that there is an indication for when you can use skills and not have them target nearby enemies.
Using the current camera, the only option is to have auto-targeting turned off if you would like to use a movement based skill without the chance of it targeting something else. And as said in the stream, auto-targeting can be very helpful especially against stealth-based professions.
Can we please get a modifier key that makes skills ignore all targets? E.g. Holding shift while using the Guardian’s Leap of Faith causes it to ignore all nearby enemies and go in the direction you are facing.

The distance travelled when using this skill while under the effects of slow is nearly doubled. This shouldn’t be happening since the movement changes.
