Thank you, ArenaNet for representing disabled people.
Please create a likable disabled character, unlike Taimi, whom many like myself find very annoying as she’s a continuation of the most hated character, Scarlet. Thank you for your consideration.

She’s very stupid for an Asura. All the people disagreeing are Asurans, obviously.
Not to mention she’s Scarlet (the most hated character) part 2.
I’d like to see the “biconics” scrapped and a fresh and entertaining story written based on a new group of well-designed characters.
I liked the kiss and hope there will be more girl-on-girl stuff to come.
I don’t like the bestiality angle between Braham (Norn), and Rox (Charr). I hope that will go in the next release. Perhaps you could just start fresh with a new group, considering that LS Season 1 was so bad. Or, better yet, bring back Destiny’s Edge, with a fitting person to replace Snaff.

She’s still unrealistically stupid and very annoying.
The writing is the weakest link in this game and is making the company lose customers.

Thank you for listening to us. Here are my top 3:
1. Include more appealing and relatable characters. You had a few interesting characters in the Personal Story, like Tyball & Forgal, but killed them off without replacing them. And retire characters like bungling idiot Faren and fake Asuran Taimi, unless you’re intentionally trying to tick us off. Think about your audience and the fantasy that they want to play.
2. Write a more plausible and interesting story for Season 2. De-emphasize the impossible Season 1 plot elements, listed by Shriketalon. Make it a corrective reset.
3. This is of the lowest priority of my 3 points, as I realize that it would be the costliest to implement. However, it has a huge impact on the enjoyment I get out of the game. I want the player character to have a prominent role in the story and to be fully-voiced in the cutscenes. And when I say “the” player character, I actually mean that each player should see their character on screen.

Taimi’s adorable, but naive to the point of being stupid, for an Asura, who are supposed to be brilliant. What’s with all that “When I grow up I want to be just like that (supposedly horrific mass-murderer)?” Spouting out sciency-sounding phrases does not make one an Asura. She’s no more an Asura than those “scientists” who act without basic critical reasoning in Prometheus are scientists. I hope, as part of a reset, ArenaNet makes her disappear, by sending her off to college and we never hear from her again.
We can get 10 other adorable characters that are realistic.
We want newer players to keep playing. Making them play the horrid Season 1 Living Story would thus be counter-productive.
“Boring, silly and unbelievable” sums it up pretty well.
A new city would be amazing, but it’s a bit unrealistic to expect in a free-to-play game. I would not mind paying a monthly subscription/ buying expansion packs if it helped the quality. I’m looking forward to the new story with the elder dragon and I hope ArenaNet is able to make the story & characters more appealing this time around.

I couldn’t disagree more on Taimi. She’s naive to the point of being stupid, for an Asura, who are supposed to be brilliant. I hope, as part of a reset, ArenaNet makes her disappear, by sending her off to college and we never hear from her again.
The other character I hope they get rid off is Lord Faren. That character seems to have irritated most people. I hope we get to do the killing.

I hope ArenaNet hires Shriketalon. He understands (most of) the flaws in the Living Story.
I simply can’t fathom why ArenaNet’s neglecting the story/characters/dialogue so much. In some ways this game is absolutely stellar… they’ve built a massive world with beautiful graphics. I’m notoriously bad at jumping…. I always fall to my death at any Vista/guild puzzle, but I still do them, and not just for the achievement. I enjoy exploring and viewing the graphics and artwork. Why’s there such a glaring difference in quality between the writing and the rest of the game? Do they have the same people who write code doing the story? I just don’t know.
That’ll happen when the six gods get so fed up of the Living Story that they hurl a huge flaming mountain at Tyria (like in Dragonlance), killing all the badly-conceived characters. We get a break because the mountain somehow misses all the players. That’s what I’d call a victory.

Killing Scarlet truly feels like a fan-appeasement cop out.
Listening to the fans before they decide to stop playing an unappealing and sometimes flat-out irritating story is not unreasonable.
Since I started playing in September, I’ve not found anything entertaining in the story at all. I’ve only played each event to get a shiny after completing X number of achievements. It felt like unpaid work.
I do hope ArenaNet is going to put more effort into the plot, characters and dialog, and try to make it appealing to those who care about stories. The reset in the Living Story by introducing an Elder dragon could help take it in a better direction.

Dear developers
I have a suggestion for the Scarlet ending. Please make it painful (for her, not us – the Scarlet content has already been painful for us) and permanent! Seriously, she’s the most annoying character ever invented since Jar Jar Banks. I trust the “ending” will truly be an ending, and that we will not see her come back again after 3 months.
Thank you for your consideration. I enjoy the game a lot, especially the large open world with beautiful graphics and the interaction with other players in the free-to-play MMO.
