The waiting time also depends of how much information you’ve given when submitting your ticket. Be sure to write serial number of your GW2 in order to Anet can verify you are the true owner of the account.

Now my question is, if i chose to play on a Medium population server today, can i change back to Gate of Madness later on (today) if the server isn’t too crowded anymore?

In short – yes, you can.
You can transfer to any server you want, as long as the server is not full when you are trying to transfer.

If you contacted ANet support, they will reply you back. You just need to give them some time to get back to you. I do realize the frustration of being wrongly accused, but patience and calmness is probably the best advice someone can give to you.

You can go to https://en.support.guildwars2.com/ and make a ticket from there or you can send mail to support@guildwars2.com using your registered email address.

As above poster said, you will need to give current account details along with serial number of your GW2 client.

The 25 digit Serial Code would have been emailed to you right after purchasing the game. Check your inbox and you should be able to find it there unless you deleted the email.

If you purchased your Digital Copy of the game directly from ANet on the website: https://buy.guildwars2.com/en/ they can also verify your ownership with the following pieces of information:
-Email Address used to make the purchase
-Order ID
-Last four digits (ONLY) of the credit/debit card used
-PayPal Transaction ID or the Invoice ID associated with the purchase

If you did not purchase the game directly from ANet and you have lost the Serial Code, contact the retailer through their Customer Service department with your receipt and they will be able to provide the Serial Code to you.

If you purchased the physical game box from a store, the Serial Code will be located inside the box.

You can log in but you cant play until the game is fully donwloaded.

Correct. You can log on your account, but can’t play the game till downloaded 100%

My Guild changed the server (and some people are still transfering chars) and no one had any problems yet.

So, I guess you can say it is working.
