Is this incredibly loud static noise when leaning whilst using the Phoenix Kite Glider intentional?

I honestly did not see the point of the changes in the beginning. What was the problem with stability? It was too powerful in the sense that it negated all cc for a period of time or not powerful enough in the sense that it could be removed?

Either way I personally think this new system is awful and I’ve come to this conclusion with a couple of days experience now.

I can’t see how many stacks I have at a given time, it’s very confusing. As is looking at enemy stacks, in the midst of battle.

Also all boon steal is like useless now with the transformations pulsing stab. Why shouldn’t people using transformations have to deal with counterplay? If you boonsteal during a transformation now you get like a second of stab. Transformations should not be a completely cc invulnerable state should they? I had no problems if for example someone removed my stability whilst using the old lich form, you just LEAVE the transformation prematurely. If people lack the ability to see the potential downsides of not leaving the transformation prematurely that is their problem.

I do see why some transformations pulse stability, like for instance the ranger elite Rampage As One. But why does it pulse so fast. People using elite skills & transformations SHOULD still be susceptible to counter play. Make it pulse for LONGER DURATIONS. If it has to pulse.

I know this is a bit ranty, lol. Honestly just wondering if the changes are temporary or here for the long run.

They posted this before the official announcement of the new storyline focus – if I am not completely mistaken. Therefore anything can change.
Also, they didn’t specify at which point of time during new living world content they were going to add new reward tracks.

Yet one might consider the introduction new living story content to be the time of new reward tracks, to which I fully agree.

I thought we were supposed to get a new pvp reward track with new releases?

“As new Living World and holiday content is released, associated Rewards Tracks will be available for the duration of those events. Once you have experienced and participated in the Living World content, you will unlock an associated Reward Track so you have the option to continue to receive relevant rewards in PvP. This will ensure that PvP is always a part of the bigger story that is unfolding in Tyria.”

have we? I have absolutely no trouble sustaining myself in any aspect of the game. if that’s what majority of players have been asking for then I guess they did a great job. I did not know sustain was an issue at all, very interesting. The support I do agree with.

Glad to see the condition necromancer nerf. its become extremely common and slightly overpowered. And i’m also glad to see they are pushing this, life siphon self healing stuff. Very interesting/ but how about an increase in raw dps with the axe or daggers. i feel its lacking alot. just a slight boost to the actual dps you can produce or even a life blast cast time reduction? just some suggestions

im glad to see some other people that share my views. im not interested in wvw or pvp so saying those are the benefits doesn’t really effect me. i run axe-focus / dagger-warhorn with the life blast might stack build thing. and i use lich. i do everything to maximize my power dps but i still feel its lacking.

i main a necro and i run a power build. i’m sick of my terrible damage in pve compared to pretty much every other class. i feel absolutely useless in fractals. i cant reflect anything and my damage is mediocre. what else am i supposed to do? ‘Superior aoe’, nobody needs that. ‘run a condi build’? no thanks. i don’t want to run a condi build. ‘roll a warrior’. everyone plays a warrior. that’s the reason i play a necro.

i’m playing less and less now because i cant play how i want to. and i’ve invested so much time into my character…
i just wanted to share my thoughts. if i sound like a whiny kitten please tell me, lol
