I don’t know what improvements ANETare making but something seems to be working, Still crashing but not it’s ever 20 mins or so instead of 5. Keep up the work and hopefully you guys find the root of the issue. Was finally able to do shatter today and no crash, hoping it’s not luck.

I swear every time i play this game it’s punishing me, now it’s just worse. After the last few patches my comp is freezing instead of crashing now i have to do Hard reboots.

We know the Cider wrapper isn’t the greatest. One of the reasons we don’t tend to respond to a lot of Mac specific posts is because an overwhelming majority of them are shared with Windows users. I do want to assure you all that we are actively fixing bugs on all clients. Some are quick to fix, some take a fair bit of time. Please try to be patient and keep submitting those reports!

Thank you so much for replying, this gives me some confidence. Can’t even play in the jungle now, it crashes every time the map loads up.

Have you submitted a ticket giving a detailed description of the issue ?Maybe they are not aware of it.

lol this made me laugh, people have been posting about this for two years now and sending support messages and nothing is being done, not even a response. The Mac clients has been in beta since launch, c`mon that’s not even right.

Since the support staff are not responding here, i’m going to write an e-mail. hopefully i can get something.

I support this thread… Mac client’s a joke. ANET please have a working Mac client like Blizzard did for their titles… and not a port that constantly crashing.

Honest I do not think will be native client at all or any time near. Cost a lot of money and resource to do this for small amount of customer. Blizzard have a lot more money to do thing like this. They should try to do some thing to make cider wrap work better like it did before last year when problem get worse. Like I say Nvidia own the company that make it so might be a big problem of some kind. If they can not improve should just be honest about this and close it down instead of continue to sell to new Mac customer.

That would be irresponsible for a game developer who had more than 3 years to come up with a solution, I don’t care if it’s a port ran by a hamster, as long as it works. ANet team needs to stop ignoring us and give us an answer. This is just rude, i’m not the first to post about this and i feel like they read the concerns and roll their eyes and move on to other things. As i’ve sated before, i’ve supported this company through there cash items and recommending the game to others, but the ignoring is just disrespectful.

Anet please give us some form of comment.

I’ve supported this game since release, bought gems, bought expansion and recommends friends who currently plays. Why can’t you give us back the support and answer our concerns about the constant crashes most if not all mac players experience.

you just can’t please everyone, as prime beast master spec, this is awesome

people still complaining about this, if money was such an issue, should have just saved when game was announced.

Dunno why people are complaining about “grinding” it’s something for you to do on the side when you’re bored. It’s a journey and if everyone could do it quickly the items wouldn’t feel legendary at all.

you guys need to take a look at the thief board, what you think is crap for pvp is giving us a headache at the moment. the reveal stealth alone counters two classes and your gyro doesn’t have to be out -_-

I love the profession, but everything seems so watered down for HOT. Yes we can do high damage, get one good CC on us and at least you can jump into stealth ( some of the time). looking at that new scrapper Gyro..the end is near.

At this point i’m hoping for a good druid reveal.
