Most of the players in WvW are just upset that nothing has really happened in months and we feel like we’ve been ignored.
We just want to see what is actually going on behind the scenes with WvW, maybe given some DevBlog update style stuff since you’ve been mostly silent on what is changing and being worked on.

Deathly Chill: Increased bleed stacks to 3 for 5 seconds in PvE only.
WvW is PvE balance wise of things.
One only hopes that epidemic is nerfed in WvW. :O

Popullation was the only issue
DBL caused the population issue so yea not really great.
The expansion caused the population issue not the maps.
gvg scene is long and gone
I suspect he’s EU, we had variation almost every week.
T1 same match for 3 weeks, T4 same match for over a month now.. That’s basically NA right now so much variation lol
My only issue is that they take 5x longer to fill up than PvP ones. I was sad to see 75% of people thought they were good ‘as is’.
The poll made it sound like either it stays or gets removed completely and back to a state of no extra loot.

The AoE cap thing seems a bit over the top in a nerf.
The Q’s isn’t because of the merged server, it’s because of the sudden influx of guilds TC received and the returning population ontop of that.
Not even 2 hours into the ‘beta’ test of wvw merges. Some of you are just so silly.
When you go from a server that never gets Q’s on reset to being rammed with a 100+ Q you should understand why people are upset.
I assume you are not a new player, so I don’t know why you are surprised that reset night after a major change has big queues in tier 1.

The problem is you had 3 different play styles.
a) T1/T2 were the blob tiers
b) T3/T4 were the mix of small man with blobs.
c) T5 and below were mostly small man fights.
Now it’s just blobs.
Basically the gamemode is zerg blobbing all the time now.

What did this help with? Also, it’s still doable if you hit jump and ancestrals at the same time as you would with jump-dodging. But again, why?
You were able to leap into keeps/towers in wvw bypassing the walls/gates.
Are you guys really that blind? WvW overhaul is timing right around when CU is being released.
I would of liked to see the Alpine map increased in size by 25% with the East and West stretched apart a bit and maybe update the visuals a bit to make it less bland otherwise the map was perfect.
I don’t understand why they decided to start from scratch on a map that just screams PvE with PvP inside of it when all we want is 99% PvP with the 1% PvE.
I think this takes the reward for most disastrous change in history of GW2.
Yet another slap to the face to OCX players.. Reset is now on Sunday, thanks for ruining the gamemode even more.

There isnt a game out there that runs 180 player characters with 180 various server connections and ISPs linked together that doesn’t have the same or worse problem.
Which has nothing to do with the FPS problem. The FPS problem is because of the engine not ISPs or anything like that.
So what game out there now uses an engine that allows 180 players in different locations to process fluidly to each other simultaneously, that maintains solid pings and consistent 60 fps or better?
CU has the framework built currently to handle 1000+ players per instance. : )
The main problem about anet is the internal netcode is garbage and if you want to actually research instead of just blindly praising ANet, use Wireshark and look at all of the garbage each player spams the server with.
Good network design minimizes overhead; ANet decided that maximizing the amount of TCP headers each of their servers has to parse is a good idea for some reason. Not to mention anything related to optimizing how conditions are handled, and literally everything to do with damage.
ANet has made so many bad design decisions over the years that literally every intelligent professional that even marginally works with computers has a reason to laugh at them. Sysmins, Protocol Guys and Databasing. Seriously, look at how ANet sends the information regarding another player on a packet level. Enumerating outfits and armor with fixed address packets seems like a really good idea since literally everyone else in the industry does it with their art teams. But no, for some reason, that’s not implemented, so evaluating every single different fashion wars 2 costume becomes incredibly CPU heavy. It’s a work of sheer genius that a game this badly implemented on a technical level even runs. Props to Intel, AMD, and NVidia for making hardware strong enough to run this game even at 30fps.

Anyone who says they get 60 fps during a megablob fight (3 way 60v60v60) is lying. I play with everything on max except shadows to off, reflections off and the character model stuff to medium and I averaged around 25-35 during that situation.
Blame anet for coding this game so poorly and not upgrading it to Dx11/12.

On YB we have a huge NA, with far less offhours coverage. Now we won’t be able to get that offhours, and I’m fine with that. It weakens our server, but imo it’s fair.

Our NA is larger than FA’s, and significantly larger than SoS’ through the week, but not anywhere near double. And since all the servers make queues on reset that kind of negates any population advantage. Our offhours until recently was the smallest of the T2 servers, but we got a little help there too.

Y’all just need to spread yourselves out amongst T2, T3 and T4 servers and then we could have 12 servers mixing it up weekly like in EU.
The problem with this is that the wall of T1/T2/T3 has to be broken first before you can split the playerbase across all the servers.

Setup a custom setting in your nvidia manager targeting GW2 with the AA setting, it might just be that it’s not being applied to the game.
