Glad I’m not the only one having this issue. I lose my cursor a lot during large battles as well. Also, the targeting/tab targeting in this game is pretty terrible. The target changes all the time and when I cycle through enemies with tab it seems like it targets randomly. It’s not smooth at all. I’ve never had this much trouble tab targeting in any other MMO. Please fix this.
I agree wholeheartedly with the OP. The fractals are amazing! The visuals are beautiful and the encounters are very fun. I loved the fractal with the Sons of Svanir! I loved how it was so dark at times and the snowstorm was epic! Keep up the good work, ArenaNet!
This was very disappointing. The lag was terrible. 10+ sec delay on abilities. This probably would have been a really fun event had it not been for the lag, which made it nearly unplayable.
I agree. While it could be a bit frustrating at times, I’m glad it was a challenge because it felt much more rewarding when I actually finished it. Thanks, ArenaNet!
I love my witches costumes as well. It’s adorable! I also love all the spooky decorations and the costume brawls. The scavenger hunt was a lot of fun too. I’m glad it was a little bit of challenge to find each site. Instead of googling the answer, I read lore to figure out the answers and to me that made it much more rewarding and fun.
I’ve been having a blast with this Halloween event. I love the costumes and the costume brawls are a lot of fun. The decorations are absolutely beautiful! Thank you for all your hard work ArenaNet and for bringing us such an awesome holiday event!
Capes would be a nice addition.
One of the funniest thing in WoW was the traveling, you had ships, you had zepelins and you even had a kitten subway! It felt realistic, you had time to observe the zones and meet new people while waiting or traveling…
Eh, gonna have to disagree with you on this. I wouldn’t call it “fun”. It was a really neat idea, and the first few times I took a wyvern I found it amazingly cool. But fun? No. Especially after playing WoW for 7 years. I just wanted to get to my destination and be done with it.
This is an exploit…
“You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.”
This should be moved to the suggestions forums so we can all suggest they tone down the combat sounds. >.>
I’m pretty sure ArenaNet said they will not allow add-ons in their games. With that said, I wouldn’t mind them implementing more UI customization.
Lol. I’m so glad others feel the same way about this. I especially hate it when my Sylvari gets a crippled effect on her. She makes this terrible “Ooooooaaaaaaah!” sound and won’t stop until the end of the duration. I play a thief so she also does this weird yell everytime I use death blossom. It’s very annoying.
The rate these sound effects occur should be toned down. Maybe every 10th hit or something. Or only if a crit lands.
Can’t wait for this!
You’re absolutely right. The camera issues do make it difficult to see. If we could zoom the camera out a bit further it would help with this issue, however, I read in a recent thread by ANET that they have no intentions on changing the FOV so this was the only other solution I could come up with.
Yeah could be a bug. I remember this happened with orc shoulder armor in WoW. They went from being massive to teeny tiny. Blizzard eventually fixed it. What a strange bug.
Yeah, I had to turn this effect off as well. It was making my eyes hurt!
Globs of ectoplasm, lodestones, crystals, cores, essence piles.
As things are now, bosses are generally the same size as the player models. With all the spell effects and combat text popping up all around and covering the boss it’s not always easy to see when a boss is about to cast a spell or use a melee ability. Perhaps if there was an increase in their size it would make it a little easier to see their spell/melee animations.
Thanks for reading.
Yep. Been having a lot of fun.
I fully support the idea of a barbershop in-game. When I played WoW I was always changing my characters’ hair. I enjoyed having the freedom to change my hair color and style at anytime for a small amount of gold.
I also support complete character re-customization, and wouldn’t mind paying RL money for this service. However, I would like the barbershop to only cost in-game money. 50c-1s suggested by the OP would be a good price.
I don’t agree with race change just because I believe it would be too complicated of a task to undertake. However, I fully support character appearance recustomization. Like someone else in this thread said, I NEED MY HAIR DID. I wouldn’t mind paying for this option.
Thank you for writing this. I agree 100%.
Pleeeeeease pleeeease pleeeease let us zoom the camera out more! >.<
After my experience with cross-realm LFG finder in WoW, I would like for it not to be in Guild Wars. Yeah, I realize bad groups were around long before the LFG finder came along, but that’s not my reason for not wanting it. I can deal with bad groups. What I disliked about LFG finder was how it seemed to take a little bit away from a server’s community. Before LFG finder came along I met many people (many who became good friends during my time in WoW) during dungeon runs. When LFG finder was released that stopped. I’d be grouped with random people from random servers. You’d be lucky if someone even said “hello” during most runs. We’d finish the dungeon and then never see each other again. Also, if someone behaves badly or plays poorly in a dungeon on their home server then they earn a bad reputation for their actions. This is not the case when you’re involved in a LFG finder group. The worst that usually happens is the person behaving/playing badly gets kicked or someone may call you out on the forums, which I think is against Blizzard’s TOS so it gets deleted pretty fast.
With all that said, I wouldn’t mind a LFG finder as long as it is NOT cross-realm.
