Lamina Scale is a relatively small and casually laid back guild. We are based mainly in emrhy bay though we welcome people from other servers to join as well. Due to the guesting system, as long as you are in an NA base server, you can participate with anything any of our members would be doing except for WvW. We understand that there is a life outside of the game that can and will take up time so we don’t worry about how active our members are. We love helping each other out when someone wants/needs it and our only real requirement is no drama. We aren’t sure how common our idea is but we believe that you shouldn’t have to wait for an officer to be online if you know someone who wants to join with you so we allow everyone to invite members. After all, having a friend have to wait to get an invite can kinda suck, so we make sure you can invite them yourself! If you have any questions feel free to send me a msg here or in-game. There is an armor locker in pvp that let’s you preview every skin in the game as well

You could also get some armor from karma venders after completing heart events in an area. Not all karma vendors sell armor though

Sounds like you might be interested in joining Lamina Scale. We are a relatively small guild and we understand that reality can and will take up time way from the game so we don’t have any attendance requirements. We tend to be pretty laid back an casual but are always willing to help each other out. We are based mostly in emhry bay but as long as you are on any NA server, we can use the guesting service for anything we want to do, excluding WvW since guesting doesn’t let us do that. We have a few members in othe servers as well as a result. We are mostly pve based but we do tend to wander into pvp every now and then when we feel like killing more than AI haha. Jokes aside, Lamina Scale is relatively small and casual. We are pretty laid back but we enjoy grouping up and helping each other out with stuff. We are base mostly in emhry bay but as long as you are on an NA server, it won’t matter since we can guest to other servers in the same region. Only problem would e if you decided you wanted to try out world vs world since guesting doesn’t allow crossing over for that (pretty much anything else is fine though). I’d be more than happy to show you around some of the higher zones if you’d like. I’m not 100% sure, but you might be high enough level for one of the world bosses already. Anyway back to guid info haha.
We understand that reality takes priority,even if we don’t want it to at times hah, so we don’t have any kind of attendance requirements or anything like that. What size guild are you looking for? The one I’m in, Lamina Scale, is relatively small and we are pretty casual and laid back. We are based mainly in emhry bay but since guesting makes the cross server thing not much an issue, we have a few members from other servers as well. Most of our members play pve but some of us enjoy pvp/WvW as well. We don’t have much in the way of activity requirements since we understand that real life will take away from our ability to play at times. We are generally just a group of people that enjoy hanging out and helping each other when we want/need it.

We understand that real life can and will take time away from the game (it is just a game after all) so we don’t expect people to be on all the time. At least one member of ours had run one, if not all, of the dungeons and could easily give you advice or walk you through them if your interested. We are based in emhry bay but we have a few members in different servers. With the guesting system in place, the only thing we can’t do with our cross server members is WvW so if that is something you aren’t interested in you then that wouldn’t be an issue for you.

If your going for a condition fighting style your going to want condition dmg and duration gear. I’m not sure if crits affect that or not. Magic find just affects the amount of rarer drops there are for you. The main reason for farming exp mode on dungeons though is for the tokens which isn’t affected by mf as far as I’m aware. Since you farm tokens for the armor/weapon vendors in LA. If that’s the case, you’d be better off getting an armor set that gives you an extra stat besides mf.

We are a relative small guild but we enjoy hanging out and helping each other when someone wants/needs it. Currently we are mainly pve based but some of our members enjoy the pvp side as well so we plan to expand into that territory as well at some point. The only thing we wouldn’t be able to do with you is WvW but since you mentioned you aren’t interested in that, I doubt it would be an issue :p We understand that real life can and will take priority so we don’t have any expectations when it comes to how active our members are.

Ah I’ve been using churning earth, switch to fire, teleport onto the enemy and cf at the same time it goes off so I can use fire grab the second it’s finished. Only cantrips I really use for defense is mist form.

Alright cool thx. I tend to run with 10 point in fire to grant might when I use my cantrips so that I don’t have to use em defensively since I tend to be on the offense most of the time.

Don’t worry too much about what server you are on since guesting makes it possible to play with each other regardless of who is on what server. Though I do need to know if you are on NA side or EU since we can’t guest across that gap (yet. They might change that later on)

Ritualist was basically kind of like a necromancy that worked with spirits instead of the bodies/flesh of the dead (from what I saw of it. I only played ele back then so I’m not 100% sure on this) You could summon various types of spirits for different effects. Hence the engi turrets being a mechanical similarity.

Ah, I hated it when I’d find guilds like that. Luckily with guesting have multiple server members isn’t too big of an issue but we wouldn’t be able to join you in WvW. Though if the servers get pitted against each other it would be fun to duel and such. Anyway (got a little sidetracked haha) my guild is based in emrhy bay but we are all for having members from different servers since it lets us do more than just talk in chat due to the guesting. Just a heads up, if pve is your main way to play, your home server won’t matter as much since we can guest to other servers to play in game with other ppl pretty easily. I can’t vouch for the other servers but I know emrhy bay has been pretty nice to me for what I was looking or with pve. We’re not half bad in WvW either for if/when you decide to try that out too. Are you looking for an rp server or just general pve stuff?

Anyone have any theories on how each elder dragon got the abilities it has? Primordious over fire/rock, Kralk over crystal/lightning, zhaitan over undeath, ect?

I know the vigil order’s light armor is sleeveless. Heck that’s why I joined them in the first place. The whole set is different than the average style of light armor
