Guild Wars 2

Same thing happened to me, lost my tokens and achievement. I had some hope of this being fixed but I’m starting to accept that it won’t happen. Had this been the case with any other dungeon I’d be fine, but Arah…When my guildies wake up and see their tokens gone after the time and effort we put into it…. Sad.

I know the feeling, same thing happened to me also. First time in Arah path 2, took us 4 hours because of several reasons, members left disconnects etc… but we did it. Exit dungeon and bam…the game kicks me out. And now I find out that I no longer have the tokens and the achievement from this path. Possibly I’ve lost more but these matter to me the most.

Yes please…I lost tokens and basically everything I’d done prior to this patch for, I don’t know 2-3 hours?

Great, 4 hours in Arah for nothing. Lost my tokens and my achievement and I’m not sure what else.

Agreed, more like this please! It was the best part of the Halloween event and it’s something I will remember for a long time. Not many games make me say that. In fact, none has.

Did it once with my Sylvari ranger, no speed boons.The whole process of beating this thing was one of my most intense moments in gaming, if not THE most intense. What a rollercoaster… Please ANet continue to push the limits like this, it was freaking awesome.

Here’s my 80 Ranger, not 100% sure about the colors but overall I like the look.

I don’t like that idea, pets are a defining element of our class. If you like bows and don’t like pets, perhaps a warrior is a more suitable class for you.

Pity, I should have seen this earlier. Lost 1 hour in this mission, trying to figure out what was wrong.

Nothing more to add to this thread, just a big thank you for making this work of art. It’s actually scary how close to perfection it is.

Step1: Join a guild/play with friends
Step2: Define roles/tactics
Step3: Build accordingly
Step4: Have fun

Sigh… sore losers, always crying for restrictions. WvWvW is fine. Alliances are part of the game. Night capping is part of the game. It’s free. Why do you want to sterilize it?

Desolation player here, just want to say my opinion, I have my share of WvW against Vizunah Square and all I have seen from them is like others have said, dedication, numbers sure, but most importantly imho, tactics. They sure know what they are doing, always on the move, harassing our back, our supplies, always in attack mode, all in all they are a fantastic opponent! Our server has only to gain from competing them, because it will make us better. Personally for me it’s been much more fun when we are against VS than other servers we have played against so far. Far Shiverpeaks are very good too. Our server has a lot of eager PvPers, we just need a little bit more tactical thinking to turn into (seemingly) unbeatable like they are. I’m looking forward to that.
I don’t think night capping is the reason we are losing, nor am I against it. I don’t want too many restrictions placed in WvW.

Nothing to worry about. Your characters will always be available to you unless you decide to delete them, they are not stored in your pc. As for the installation, install normally and the launcher will patch the game automatically.

GW2 has simply blown me away. I knew it would be good, but it has managed to surpass the hype. Brilliant
