Starting off is the hardest part. We’re looking for loyal, active, and mature players.
There is plenty of room for promotions, as I am looking to fill quite a few roles.
Ninjitsu Style, as you can tell by the name, is a ninja-themed guild, and currently we are recruiting mature, active, and loyal players.
The goal: To create a community of players that love to just hang out, talk, relax and unwind, yet still take the game seriously.

So, I’m one of those people that like to sit in Lion’s Arch and craft, and do some Trading Post work. I have a certain message that I like to send every 10-15 minutes in map chat to earn some extra money crafting, and the issue is that over time, the more I send this message without changing maps, or logging off, I get temporarily muted from map chat.
Tonight, it got really bad. I was unable to talk in local chat, or map chat after logging in and out, and changing maps. It took a good 15 minutes to wear off to the point that I could talk again.
There is an issue with your spam detection system, and it would be great to see this addressed in a future patch. I would like to be able to send my message every 10-15 minutes without having to encounter these pesky message suppression errors, and avoid getting temporarily muted from map and local chat.
I feel it’s fine the way it is. You need to learn how to play the class, and not to mention you’re missing your personal story. I hate to say it, but I don’t think this idea would ever, ever, eeeeee-ever make it into an MMO setting.
Don’t ruin our fun because you don’t like seeing kitten. I think it’s quite awesome, and it’s nice to see.
A 10% listing fee seems incredibly harsh to me. Like insanely harsh.
That was another idea I had, I was thinking like a minimum of a 1% difference in price.
But, I knew at the time of having the idea that not everyone would take advantage of it, and it is those people that undercut others, which set off the chain of players that post for the price that undercutter priced his item at. Thus, less undercutting, and the price stabilizes (somewhat)
If anything your suggestion would increase the number of people willing to undercut by 1 copper. Because they are going to make another 2.5% from the sale so why should they care if they lose 1 copper.
This just stuck out at me. Why do you think this? Your logic is actually backwards on this.
Here’s a scenario:
Offer: 2g 90s 90c
If I post something for 2g 90s 90c, I will get charged 2.5% of that price. If I decide to post it for 2g 90s 89c, I will get charged 5% of that price.
By the way: listing price is returned upon a successful scale. The majority of players don’t realize that.
This is simply a suggestion to add the incentive to post for the lowest price, not completely out-rule all undercutting. Thus the “SOME” in the title.

Well, retrieving your loot sure is going to suck. Not to mention, they will probably reset and become invulnerable and start regenerating while they run back up.
And they still can. I’m not saying “Stop everyone from undercutting.” I’m saying “Add an incentive to lessen the amount of undercutting.”
I did that too by mistake. The way Rift deals with it is you have 30 minutes or so during which you can sell back the item for a full refund in the currency used to buy the item (karma in our case). This seems quite reasonable.
I LOVED this idea in Rift, and I believe it should be implemented in this game too. It’s such a great and simple system. Nothing else to it.
Day after day, I grow tired of people undercutting by one copper, so I thought to myself.. What could be implemented that would make some of the players that would normally undercut, post for the lowest price instead?
Well, I quickly came up with the idea of having a discounted listing price if the price you’re posting for already has an item at that price.
Instead of a 5% posting price, drop it down to a 2.5% posting price.
It’s a very simple change, and will make players more susceptible to posting at the lowest price instead of creating a new price one copper below yours.
