Guild Wars 2

I deleted the Guild Wars2 folder from my programs list, too. This also doesn’t help.

I don’t use third party tools outside TeamSpeak3. But that isn’t tethered to GW2.
I tried Canti’s approach and have tried re-installing the game, but I can’t even do that.

I was running fine last night.
This morning? I can’t even update without crashing.
I have tried the repair suggestions with no change, game crashes before it can begin.

I love eternity’s look, but I like my two greatswords more.
I don’t know how true this is. I’m told that when Sunrise and Twilight are forged in the Mystic Forge, they’re no longer account/soulbound? I don’t really want to sacrifice my two swords for one I can only use on one toon. Or have to swap around like a traveling pants as I switch toons. (I main as Mesmer, warrior, and Ranger on any given day.)
Is there anyone that has both Twilight and Sunrise already kinda laying around that they’re going to make eternity with? Can I do it for you and send it back?
(I don’t want twenty flippin’ legendaries, I send everything back. And trust me, I don’t have the money to sell them either.)
Does anyone know how else I can get the skin without having to redo my current greatswords? I’m too poor to keep grinding for this things. ):

But this is a problem that happened last night after the update, and I was hoping it’d be resolved by morning. Obviously not. I’m getting the same message that reads;

Please check your Internet connection and try again.

I went into my CMD to refresh my network ID, considering I am on a network and we’ve run into clashing IPs before. So I redid it with ipconfig /release and followed with ipconfig /renew after waiting a couple minutes for a disconnection confirmation to reconnect. Didn’t work. So. I’m trying to fix it. Again.

Apparently my last argument over this subject left someone on the wah-mbulance. I’m sorry for being honest in my opinion on the matter. But I stand firm that the heavy armor needs a redesign MORE then the light. But seeing as the light was already removed due to all the complaints, it will look worse – as usual. If they are so inclined to redesign the light armor, ALL of the buyers of the prior ‘exploit’ should also have that design. It isn’t fair that some people bought it and can keep it while the rest of us have to suffer the ill-choice of all the complaints.
In short. Make. It. Fair. Redesign the purchased armor as well as its future look, instead of this first come first serve – oh you were too late because everyone complained. And for heavens sakes, make the heavy armor less skirty and more manly.
And if you don’t like my opinion, you don’t have to read it. But reporting me for being honest to the max, well all of the complainers should be reported too for egging on this unfair removal-redesign that will be one sided.

ALL the light armor that was purchased and intends to be purchased should ALL look the same.

Moa morph is just an annoying utility I love to use to give me an advantage to run away. Lol I find this funny. I hear my friend cry and moan about how much he hates mesmers and that ability so much all the time anyway too. It’s just annoying. The worst that can happen to you is you encounter a string of mesmers on their cycle and you manage to get on ALL their bad sides and they ALL have that ability available. BAM you have endless moa.
Go into sPvP with 6mesmers against you and hope they don’t have moa morph on you. Then come here and cry nerf. c:

Not that my opinion really matters here, seeing as I don’t even run a condition built mesmer, I actually focus against it because of its popularity. But my second mesmer will be using confusion and if this nerf is truly that bad, I’m a little scared that she will be ineffective in WvW and PvE as support. Which will be sad because mesmers are a fun class. It seems anything that is fun to play and a slight advantage to a class, there will be a nerf, because how dare we be a little bit better in our ability to trait and put together our builds?
Trial and error would force people to actually learn and play a class to its ability instead of cookie cutter styles with the same things, no? Or am I the only one that believes in actually playing the game?

I am agreeing that this condition nerf was a bit on the harsh side, I have noticed a difference. I spent a lot of time on south sun and of all the nerfs, the darn reef drakes were not nerfed and holy moly do they still one shot me!! Nerf that confusion instead of a mesmer! >.>
No, but seriously. As a conditionless mesmer, it was a hard hit, even for me.

I’m running on an extremely up to date ACER Aspire V3 771G-6485 Laptop – That came with Windows 8 stocked on it. So I’m working with it.

Everything is updated and and updated x2 My boyfriend and I are both very much on top of the updates. But Guild Wars 2 won’t install. We’ve tried every single user trick out on google to make Guild Wars 2 install. Nothing is so far working. I don’t know what’s wrong. Troubleshooting it, it runs under older windows. Obviously, the game is ‘out of date’ for 8 and 8 is simply being a negative nancy. I know there are users that play GW2 on windows 8 and I don’t know how they did it. What on earth is mine even doing.
(I will provide more technical description of the system when he’s not on it. I’m a working functioning not so borked windows.)
