I also think stacked servers messed up the wwv?. Many guilds were bought by t1 – t2 servers, like jq and bg so stacked. Everytime I join wvw, TC is always outnumbered 2-1 in zergs/blob fights unless they ally with one of the server like JQ. I’m going on vacation for 5 months, I’m gonna miss the fun, all I can say is I hope JQ wins first place, don’t want the stackgates to win “again”.

since you already level a lot of class, just level ranger in pve 1-30, then dungeons from there. You level fast + loots. From 50+ start doing main story quest, then at 60+ start doing Wvw or Edge of the Mist to 80.

Yes please, don’t touch my Longbow. kitten it feels good to have that 1,500 range in WvW and PvP. I don’t think any other profession has access to this much range.

Oh ok, I never tried playing Engi for more than lvl10 so I wasn’t aware of that. But then if we take in consideration the Radius effect of Grenades vs Barrage, Longbow has a longer range than Grenade Kit. It’s still just one skill though…

No they are the same. The thing is you can spam grenades, you can’t spam barrage lol. Grenades is actually has more dps than longbow. Hate to break it to ya. I have level 80 Ranger and a level 80 Engineer.

edit. I like everyone’s suggestions, however I don’t like shatter biuld, I like phantasm more, because that was my build when I was leveling it especially in dungeons.

From a WvW perspective, the mobility should be toned down a bit – it’s ridiculous at the moment. On my warrior i have 3 leap/mobility moves that i can use to get away from pretty much anything – it’s just cheesy as hell. The class is already incredibly strong in WvW.

What if GW2 have Wilderness Island. Anyone who enters can are able to duel someone if they accept it. If they step in an orange zone, people who are 10 levels below or above your level can pk you (single player killing). Red zone will be Multi pk, free for all. Also, how about Relic Wars?. Guild vs guild or guild alliance vs guild alliance who will conquer territories!.

Did they buff the off hand Axe?. The 5# skill deals so much damage because of the 12% vuln, which I never notice before.

the reason warrior is preferred is not because it is the highest damage dealer in the game, it just so happens that warriors have high enough damage that can be pulled off a lot easier than others, and we do not die as easily.

I’m now playing an elementalist and the crap I pull of with my elementalist is a lot crazier than what I can pull with my warrior, I just have to be a bit more aware of my surroundings and chain skills that is all.

I’m just being practical here most I’ve seen or noticed are, Warrior, Warrior, Warrior, Ele, Guardian. “Zerkers Warriors Only”, or I see bunch of warriors and description says, We need ele only".

We all know, ele needed a buff. Ele really excels in dungeons and wvw zerg, even then Warrior is still the superior class. When the Dev asked for a list, most people voted for ele as only second to ranger. Now i’m not saying this class or other class are up, what I meant was, other people might think ele is underpowered.
Now I understand you don’t want the warrior class to be tone down, because you main one. See what I mean, read my previous post.

oh please 90% of people here will tell you to go warrior or re-roll a warrior. =/

After the patch, I have noticed lower population in lion’s arch than it was before. Back then even Overflow were quite populated, now kinda sucks. It feels dead, and people only shows up when the new champions(assault knights?) are about to spawn.

My ranger is almost level 80, and I was thinking of leveling a thief next or a mesmer. I’m curious how are they in pve? in terms of leveling, open world roaming, dynamic events, dungeons, lions’s arch attack xD and are they more fun than mesmer?. :p I heard they die alot, and becoming bottom tier like ranger in dungeons?.

Compare Mesmer, Eles, Thieves, Enginers, and Warriors in leveling. Which class is considered easy mode? that’s right Warrior. Mesmer is known to be a painful to level, ele and thief are harder to level than heavy armor class. Engineer difficult and hard to master, compare to Warrior.

In Dungeons, which of them is more popular/needed? . That’s right Warrior, those youtube videos consist of warriors and the fact that there are more warriors in parties than any other class, proves it. Why? cuz OPee.

Warrior by a mile. They have been the most played class the last time we got numbers and they only got stronger. No reason to play anything else beside a warrior, unless you get bored.

Warriors are only useful until both Banner of Discipline and Strength are taken. After that, either pick up more reflections, or a higher damage profession.

But @OP, Warrior is the most used class for the wrong belief they are the best damage (they are not, Thief, Mesmer, Ele and even Guardian are all higher in PvE).

Which is warrior. Which is the best PVE profession. Which is why you have so many of them. Which is why I posted it.

Let’s look what a base warrior offers:

Highest HP
Highest toughness
Highest armor
Highest mobility
Highest damage
Highest condition removal
Highest weapon swap time
Highest healing without even healing

All at the same time.

It is hard to fail in PvE as a warrior.

Highest HP – On par with necro. (Considering necros aren’t really viable in PvE i’ll give you that one)
Highest Toughness – On par with guardian
Highest Armor – Same as toughness.
Highest Mobility – FGS ele outruns a warrior. Outside of that they have the highest landspeed, yes.
Highest Damage – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnPui3MAx8Q Eles outDPS warriors by far in any given scenario.
Warriors are just there to provide banners.
Highest Condition removal. – I think ele takes that title thanks to Ether Renewal.
Highest Weapon swap time – I think you mean lowest, but correct.
Highest Healing without healing – Correct.

At the moment warriors are in a good spot. They certainly don’t provide the highest damage but still are a great addition thanks to the banners they provide. Without those warriors would probably be irrelevant.

Guardian is a supportive class, warrior is op. High HP, High Damage, Very Strong Traits, Beefy, you name it, they are OP class. If you don’t like support playstyle, or just prefer dps, then Warrior>Guardian.

so I was testing something with 30 in alchemy. Reduced elixirs cooldown, Increase duration, and all elixirs grants might. Elixer gun #5 and toolbelt are elixirs. Why are they not affected?.

or you can go flamethrower :P Power scales way better with a rifle and flamethrower/bombs.
At 41, get 20 in firearms, and get juggernaut. Equipping Flamethrower grants you toughness, constant 5 stack of might( 6/ 7 if you have might duration runes). There’s also heal bomb. Honestly, for me engineer got better and easier after 40.

Every third of your auto attacks gives vuln, protection to nearby allies and heals them. Some of your traits will give toughness and regen to your allies. Don’t be afraid to use your Virtues more often, Your elite will refresh the cooldowns.

There are Four Regions Time Zones in North America. Pacific, Mountain, Central, and Eastern.

Eastern is 3 hours ahead of Pacific. Mountain Time is one hour advanced from Pacific. Central is 2 hours ahead.

1. Ranger -most hated class, however, Ranger is better than Engineer in open world pve.
2. Engineer – Underrated Class, known as low dps class. Make Turrets Viable and buffs.
3. Ele – hard to level, however, most wanted in pugs/dungeons compare to ranger and engineer.
