Have a new warrior I just started. Was trying to decide what crafting would be best. Will do some dungeons and pvp. Do I have to do crafting to get best gear for dungeons and pvp or is there separate pvp gear? Kinda getting reaquainted with game so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well no I still have not finished the story or completed all the zones. I would love to get a link anyone has that gives good directions for all the jumping puzzles. I am not very good with finding them on my own.

Well I am currently level 76 almost 77 as a thief and I have decided to hit 80 before doing anything else. I have huntsman and leather working as my crafting and I thought I might try to max those after hitting 80. Is it fairly simple to max those fairly quickly? I did happen to run across a site that shows you all the materials you need to hit max level but I hope those professions will benefit me even at 80. I hear people work on getting legendary or ascended gear? Is ascended gear better and how do I go about getting that once I have hit 80? I will also be getting involved with pvp more especially wvw and will my crafting benefit in anyways there or what kind of gear should i focus on pvp wise? Are there dungeons I can solo?

What is the special move for the thief indicated by the wolf icon? Is it necessary would you say to have that move? I thought I had downloaded the digital deluxe version but maybe not. How do I get it?

I noticed that hitting level 30 I got 1 trait point but now I am level 32 and I have not received any trait points since 30. Is that normal?

I just want to bleed you, poison you and stay at range, then if I have the opportunity shadowstep in a finish you but I wanna do most of my damage thru bleeds and poisons. If I don’t always get the kill it’s fine but I wanna put as much pressure on as I can.

I can tell now as a thief I am going to be better off if I use some range so I have decided to use a pistol off hand. I am curious to hear what you all think about condition damage and if it is worth it? I don’t feel like I have to get quick kills. I would rather be a thief who puts heavy pressure on as many opponent as I can and stay at range and have enough toughness to survive and get away. I guess I am looking to get advice on a good ration of power, precision, condition damage and toughness that would fit my playstyle.

It may be an issue of balance but how long is that going to be the excuse? At least let us have a crack at a legit Arena experience. Maybe it’s early but give us the option!

Or let me put it this way, The Chicago Cubs are more likely to win the World Series than 1v1 Arena being implemented.

Granted, you guys are more in the loop regarding some of this. But I must honestly say I don’t think there is pvp designer among the top mmos out there that have the stones to implement 1 on 1 Arena.

Whatever time it takes is fine, I just want them to make it an option that’s all!

There needs to be a Legit 1 vs 1 Arena! I swear I think they are afraid to make it happen. Why can’t we compete 1 vs 1, like they do in 2v2, 3v3, 5v5? What the heck is everyone so afraid of? Are you afraid that if you start that, everyone is going to be playing that and neglecting other parts of PVP? It is not enough to just duel!!! I want a chance to compete for Titles, rewards, points whatever!!!!! Not everyone wants 2v2 and up and I know there are some who could care less about 1v1 arena. My point is, that there should always be that option for those who do want it. I swear the day a mmo gets guts enough to make a legit 1v1 arena I will die of shock!

Such as? Why is giving players another option a problem? It will not interfere with fixing what you think needs to be fixed. I think Arena is exactly what this game needs, more competition!!!!!

I just listened to that you tube video of the pvp game designer for GW2. Sounds like 1 vs 1 arena might be put on the backburner. Why is everyone so afraid to implement that? I swear hardly any mmorpg does this. I don’t know about anyone else but I want the chance to 1 on 1 and get ranked, points, etc……..Why does this always get put on the backburner? Look I think PVP in GW2 is awesome but you guys should be about giving us more and more options and 1 vs 1 gives us another option!

I play a Warrior and looking forward to getting to 80. Once I get to 80 I will be mainly pvping all the time in SPVP. Is there a set of gear for pvp that I can get at 80 thats better than anything the vendor has in the SPVP area? Or is everything mix and match wise so to speak available to me now? Can I craft or create anything in there now? And my professions are armorsmith and jeweler.

I am thinking of adding some +heaing and vitality to gear. When the gear says like +10 to healing does that mean you get +10 extra on your heals when you cast it or does it work differently? I just wanna make sure I understand it correctly.

I forgot to add, I’m using 2 axes at the moment as opposed to having a shield.

How effective is it to add toughness upgrades to armor and weps? Most of mine are toughness now more for pve stuff but I will be splitting my gaming time between PVE and PVP content. I would like to be a mix of both powerful and very hard to bring down in PVE as well as PVP. I’m open to all advice trait, slot and upgrade wise!

Hi. Just hit level 11 and starting with my traits. Kinda hoping for a build that will work adequately for both pve and pvp. Right now I have a mace/shield with a rifle as a backup. Armorsmith and Jeweler are my professions. I wanna be someone who is not exactly easy to bring down.
