Hi everyone, I just started playing GW2 a few weeks ago and just recently hit 80. From what I have been told GW2 isn’t like MMO’s where there is strictly PvP gear or PvE gear and most of the gear works in all aspects of the game(correct me if I am wrong).

I don’t have any high level crafting skills and since I am new I don’t have that much gold to spend on gear or improving my crafting(only have 30g ). I purchased as much of the karma gear as I could from the vendor in WvW, but that is the most I have done in terms of achieving gear.

What is the cheapest and most efficient way of gearing up now?

And if it makes any difference I am a ranger.
