Guild Wars 2

Mostly play PvE and Dungeons. When I hear ranger I don’t think melee weapon, but wanted opinions on the matter. I assume damage isn’t has high with greatsword due to pets but nonetheless I want to make myself a worth-while goal that wouldn’t be wasted. I’m currently using a Longbow/Druid build.

Mostly map/guild chat. I play on one character, have everything I want and can’t find a reason to start farming again. May do dungeons again but meh.

Was going to work on the new legendary longbow. Not a fan of shortbows.

I have the same issue with Linux so yeah, I know the feeling. It’s actually even worse since we don’t have a client at all for Linux, and unlike GW1, I can’t get the game to work on wine.

I’m still in my addict phase, so I keep rebooting on Windows to play, but I know as soon as the game will start being less attractive to me, I won’t bother anymore, and start playing again games running natively on my every day OS.

I’m also pretty sure having a Linux client for a top seller like GW2 would bring a lot of new players. Enough to make it worth the trouble for the dev? I can’t say.

You guys need to spend some money on employee management instead of Esports. Dungeons/Pvp/WvW are nothing but broken promises or poor implementation. Now canceling advertised, promised content is just another layer of disappointment >.>

Thought it would get fixed with the other invisible walls patch but the bug is still there.

(If you tell me that mac client is not locking to one system all it is is a wrapper for the windows client (Even I hate mac))

I’ve hit this bug 4 times now. I can’t get to the portal at all and I have to restart the mission.

Game is fully downloaded, coontent streaming set to max, using 64-bit client.

The whole point of f2p is to get a taste. If the players want the full experience tell them to buy the game.

Glad to know opening Guild Wars 2 through Steam does not terminate my account (I open through Steam for in-home streaming).

Honestly at this point I don`t care about the game anymore. I don`t think I`m ever going to play any games from them if they choose to treat thier player base like this. I just want an official answer from them to my ticket so I can get my money back from retailer. Because they won`t do anything if I don`t show them proof.

Keep in mind that expansion just has been released with all sorts of possible minor issues.
Reports and support tickets are flooding in by thousands during the day.
There’s no way that a company can answer to all of them within a short time span. All you can do is wait and hope the issue gets resolved.

Anets first responce took a hour, asked for the key I used. Now I’m at the 15 hour mark waiting on a reply, I really want to play Thorns.

Make sure to add the -Streamingclient command for the GW2 launcher, then you don’t have to wait for the whole thing to download.

Yes. I see the controls and I’ve tried them. I don ‘t seem to be able to get a full character size photo. That is, with my characters head at the top of the frame and her toes at the bottom.
I’m suggesting it would be nice to take shots where I can record the look of all the gear, and to take face closeups where the face, or at least nipples to top of head full the frame vertically. You know. The shots like you usually take of yourself.

It would be awesome for gw2 to come on steam, the first one is already there. I already have gw2 added as a non-steam game to keep everything organized and ultize steams features (In-home streaming).
