Guild Wars 2

64 bit download is not completing client download and hangs at 75% six times today.

I have 64 bit Windows 10 and I wanted a clean install but it is not happening. I run Bitdefender and my system is clean.

The download mirror or cloud source is s3.amazonaws.com. which baffles me as amazon are very own games focused now and I question the wisdom ANet to apparently use amazon.

Any help would be appreciated and if it is happening to me it must be happening to others.

Had a great time with the Rev … I look forward to it going live in game. The only thing that spoiled it was that any real time awards like daily and chests for awards are not credited to our accounts.

I understand about upgrading etc. for the Rev char BUT awards had to earned as normal. In EOTM and WVW under very difficult bugs … we persevered as usual … BUT it really is not worth spending time and effort testing Rev as the basic awards are not credited and to me that is simply not efficient or reasonable.

Great armour on the Beta Rev … great hammer skills and again enjoyed Rev … Thanks Anet … shame for me it is all tarnished by ugly bugs and no basic credits awarded. Great game the best on the planet

The world created by humans is a mess created out of egotistical malevolence chiefly insane greed for the perceptions of gaining man made wealth which has no value. They self delude they are more powerful than a storm yet wilt if the lights go out and kill and torture more humans in paranoid anguish and depravity. Kill or be killed …

GW2 is all about the same driven by greed with little use of the innate and incredible natural drives all humans have. Dynamic and progressive creativity is such a human drive that can not be allowed to be free as it will destroy the paranoid destroyers.

That is an unacceptable situation for the handful of humans who control and enslave all of us regardless of race, superstitions of religions and human decency to respect and care for others as is our herd instinct the world over.

Do not be sheep; do not weep but fight to save the human race from self annihilation through the weakness of enforced guilt of being caring humans as the rest of the animal world is quite naturally.

Instead play the game bound in the powers of the creators of ultimate illusions and never touch reality …. it’s messy.

Hi Good Folk .. I need your input to get the best cheapest output in GW2 including EOTM and WvW . The config below is the mid tower PC machine I think is the best for bucks and performance on a tight budget which is kinda stretched now. I need you folk to help me push the buy now button or to give me a new brain mech.

Oh yes it runs on electricity as I can not get the parts for my old gas machine.

One of the obvious practical inbuilt degradations of WvW game play quality is the apparent lack of player on screen info concerning their skills. For example I am max master in carts, rams and siege damage. However the commanders can not see this as they always need to ask for masters. I also get kicked off for lesser performance players. This does not upset me but I am bemused at the lack of obvious info for commanders. They do not appear to have these basic stats and the game lacks player based symbols that would put a Commander in efficient and effective control of their resources.

Of course Commanders should be equally marked to indicate skill and also note their very often abusive attitudes, language and comments about other game players whom they are leading. Commanders are only game players themselves and as frustrated in many ways. Maybe the tagging of skills would help ease what some Commanders clearly are unable to respectfully handle.

Having began a new char under the new trait system ( I have lvl 80’s as well) I want to raise a discussion concerning what is in my opinion absolute insanity that is behind the new trait system.

It makes a mockery of human intelligence when trait achievements are not synchronised with the level of trait to level of player. How can an Adept level player achieve a lvl 59 personal story. There are many more situations involving hard dungeons, big hard bosses and also some in lvl 45 / 55 areas which for an adept level is insanity.

The object of profit Arena Net is to make your games entertaining and achievable so increasing the desire to participate but when you make the odds impossible generating profits also becomes as impossible.

I would like to have everyone’s feedback and opinions to see if there is a valid argument for tight synchronisation between trait achievements and the levels players have obtained.

Of course buying these is a way and also crafting is another but it still does not add up at all.

Commander needs to not only survive blobs but also to command the amassed fighting power that is following the commander. Nothing new but … thief skills can allow this more than other professions. Blobby does what Blobby does best .. zerg blindly smash kill and chuckle later. However that might not be the case if the commander is in stealth mode out of kill zone and is able to observe and then effectively direct and command.

Additionally prevention is a better strategy = management of crisis rather than crisis management. Observers, lookouts and feedback to you is “critical” to success of defence, avoidance or ambush = information is intelligent commanding. As in many wvw situations its a lot like the blind leading the blind = zero fun, zero achievements results are not just zero but NEGATIVE.

So your build needs to be looked from my point of view as a humble elder warrior of gw and gw2 who is also building a thief and will get me a blue nose. EOTM is way faster and far less boring than the WvW I cut my teeth on.
