well i dont get all of the drama…just check the statistics and you ll get an idea of the situation. double teaming, alliance, conspiracy call it what you like, fact is viz and piken have both decided to prefer fighting sfr than each other. no point in denying it…BUT no point to qq about it either. SFR dominated the weeks before the leagues, so if you know you might not be able to face an opponent 1v1…isnt it just a clever thing to go for an alternative tactic?

the PvE problem is a thing all servers have to face…piken and viz just managed to do this more clever as well. SFR’s elite community hardly can accept pugz but PvE players…that is treason! and so everyone is just doing whats best for themselves as no one really feels to be responsible for server points or standings.

Also very helpful was the trashtalk and teasing the weeks before the league started. oh we had great commanders that will bring thousands of omega golems to wipe out whole servers…well as the time came they left for exile and the server faced the consequences of their behaviour. bravo.

in short: SFR brought the current situation on itself, but luckily this happened on the very start now so we have enough time to get our kitten together and turn the tide in the following weeks.

and now dear fellow seafarers stop QQing about legit enemy tactics or bad bad random players…but get up and fight.

I expect the first week to be the most entertaining and funny one. There will be loads of different builds, tactics and weird battles. Hope this will be a refreshing experience to the very static WvW of late. It also will be interesting to see commanders being able to organize the chaos and commanders failing if they dont have their beloved organized groups around them. I see rage, a lot of rage. Really looking forward to the reset.

mmh, i only commanded one time for SFR on borderlands as we usually go for EB and that was a 700+ supply zerg to take bay again…so maybe you confuse me with someone else or you should check the video settings

or maybe we need a feature to ban or kick liars from our server…

what brings us to your points, which you ironically named a,b and c:

a: not entirely against it, but to make it a requirement for clan and pug players alike and even turn off commander tag to force ppl to join TS is the wrong way in my opinion.

b: not everything you dont understand is wrong.

c: biggest, greatest, best…their are many superlatives being used to describe me, yet they all have one thing in common…they cant even describe closely how major i am.

well like it or not i am more than just a forum troll. The main things you lack of, i actually have (eg. knowledge, wisdom, sense, the charisma etc.) and thats why ppl love to follow me.

just for the record, we are actually fighting for SFR and not drain supplies or anything like that. but we also play for the fun and dont take any success in a videogame as reason to actually think being superior to any other player on another server. the nolife self-proclaimed “core community”, which is a minority to free guilds and pugs but strong in numbers on the forums unfortunately gives all SFR players that reputation. But dont worry, we are here now to save the day.

You dont need to care about what i am thinking, just understand that i have a very similar view on your forums problem.

PS: EB is just too cool, but at times we are out on BLs as well and we arent a common WvW guild as you might know it. More a group of GWs best commanders, using the “pugs” as an army to victory. But fear not…we are only 3 so far, rest of us yet has to join SFR…so you ll have a few weeks left of your elite community

relax my dear opponents, you dont expect any serious NA guild to transfer to us because they now have the permission of some server jester. The ones wanting to join us would have done so anyway. So the only things attracted by this will be some weak minded nobodies. No harm done.

well, at first: I havent lost an open field fight in even numbers yet from SFR… usually SFR runs over the group that I play with, with at least twice the number. other than that, didn’t you notice that in all the other matchup topics with piken there is far less flaming and QQ’ing? maybe SFR has something to do with it?

sure there is less flaming as you usually dont get your kitten handed over like its the case against us. My point however was about the NA recruiting thing, which seems to set up quite a few ppl here, even so it wont change anything.

its one topic of one player and does by far not represent anything close to the whole SFR community.
If a NA guild wants to join any europe server they will check out the leaderboards and community pages…do you really think they need an invitation or more information from SFR? its not a big secret that we currently are stronger than any other EU server due to coverage, skill and the great commanders from [noTS].
So why are there all the QQ about this topic….posted by someone who indicates to actually stop players from joining if he stops the “recruiting”. Just think about how serious the original poster should be taken before get mad all over this.

as it should be known by now the best commanders are from [noTS].
everyone can follow us and have fun; no need to join TS as we are able to write and ping the necessary stuff in chat, we dont run away from enemies, we always try to make WvW a fun experience for all players and will try to command as understandable as possible, so that ppl completely new to WvW can join in as well without being part of a self proclaimed pro guild or use of thrird party tools such as TS, skype or vent.
of course all that is only possible due to the superior skillz of our members. Hail to the great [noTS] guild.

and of course i guarantee you that you will never ever see a commander of us running around in pink with a teddy on the back and shooting flowers. never.

too bad our enemies already get out the white flags before the weekend is over…seems to be another easy and victorious week then. Looking forward to the season…hopefully there wont be just little QQ babies everywhere on the opponents side.

however [noTS] is looking for elona / piken guilds, which did not yet loose their balls.

SFR will be dominating gold league, but thats hardly news. So get over it. Better train and organize all of your players, prepare them for the league and who knows…maybe with skill and willpower you re gonna be number two.

wanna have small scaled tasks for tiny little player groups against a few NPCs huh? There is something called PvE content in this game, might want to check it out

splitting the zerg…pff…a 100 player zerg is always better to have than split-up zerg and small groups doing tasks you can do on the fly-by anyway.

but know that…i am the great ‘X R K’ seafarer’s finest, the one man zerg, the slayer of whole servers, the man that solo captured stonemist against the hundreds.

but to answer your question, mortal:
of course there is no one to defeat us.
but maybe in future anet will allow SFR vs 2 servers vs 2 servers.
not that it will change a thing but your moral might last at least till monday.

1. player limit goes to 500 per server…lets have baaaaattles.
2. no more gay magic effects or any pink glowing flower weapons within WvW.
3. darker light setup, weather effects, day/night circle.
4. blood and gore patch enabled on entering WvW.
5. AFK kicks, so noone is blocking one of the 500 spots aye?
6. loads of new server hardware.

and there it is….THE only real WvW fix solution.

And this is why people dislike the GvG playerbase.

He supports the GvG cause, and yet you still find the need to insult him with petty name calling because he’s not personally into GvG.

well thats the point i dont really get…
WvW is a permanent fight across 4 big maps with loads of ppl. it requires an huge amount of tactics and coordination and is hard to predict due to different group sizes, buffs, player skills, siege weapons, terrain and so on. its the closest thing ive seen in a mmo to medieval warfare.
GvG on the other hand is an organized small scale fight between two teams of the same size. both will try to annihilate the opponents with rather preset tactics and the fights arent very surprising or too different.
Yet some GvG players think themselves as ‘elite’ and somehow better than others. Why???
is it really more skillfull to have a 30 guild team attacking another one on a preset battlefield than coordinating hundreds of players from different guilds / solo players with unbalanced amounts of classes / builds on a battlefield where there are strongholds and siege weapons all over the place that can alter the battle in many ways?

i rather think the real problem is that some have a bad inet connection / bad PC, so that huge battles might be a real pain in the patootie for them…and so they go along the line if i cant have fun, noone should so let me call them noobs.
or maybe they get run down frequently by another ‘zerg’ without seeing their own mistake but to take the easy way and call the victors ‘noobs’.

either way its hard to take insults of these people serious.
yet the problem remains and they really need some place to be as they absolutely do not belong on any WvW battlefield imo.

GvGers are just annoying and a waste of spots in WvW and an anet official getting rid of them is a pleasant sight imo really. but as they tend to QQ alot, give them some sandbox to play somewhere in tyria already.

There are many PvE kiddos out there just waiting to farm achievements, gold and so on. It doesnt matter if its not really new as long as you tell them its new. But to do so you cant give them complicated patch logs…no…you give them large, colorful pictures with a shiny name of their (new) farming object and all is good.
WvW players on the other hand are able to just read about changes concerning them.
So i dont think Anet is choosing one over the other but addressing the different player types as needed. Just enjoy the new update and dont worry about page 2 ranking.
