I just wanna say, I was able to buy the wings,
I haven’t played since the end of LS1 I just log in though each time an episode of LS2 was released, I also have a feed of GW2 on facebook so I get update.
I do watch a lot of Wooden Potatoes, Matt V and Bog otter videos so I am always in the news,
It is your disconnect to the game that made you lose your chance to get it early but don’t fret it will come back, probably during the Heart of Thorns release XD

the restrictions are really a hassle, I’ve been day by day getting the heirlooms for the halo and farmed for the gold it needs but to just get it removed by zoning and get it removed inside dungeons?? its annoying just like the minis that up until now i have no interest due to that they disappear when zoning which is really annoying, I hope that you fix this Anet I love playing guild wars 2 but it gets depressing that certain issues never gets fixed

If only you have the option to see your own name and title that would be a good thing for me and additional icons near my name to distinguish I achieved some feat or anything as such

and why are you complaining about buying gold with gems, do you even know how much the gold amount people who buy it with gems increase?? the more people who convert gold to gems; the higher the conversion the gem to gold will be, so basically the people who don’t use real cash supplies the people who have;
more importantly, all the items you buy with gold can also be attained, go farm, go run dungeons and you’ll see you’ll have your ascended gear also,
i have all ascended trinkets on 4 of my characters and 3 legendaries by just playing the game normally, in a span of a year, and I only play 2-3hrs a day, i never spent my gems to convert to gold since converting them is worthless, you can get the gold in a few dungeon runs or so

I agree with mad demon, thats the only living story I would not try to finish since its a living story that even having just 1 friend isn’t enough and thats kind of hard waiting the whole day just to kill a hard boss, but I like the change though,

I do not think he needs tweaking, is the only boss now that is hard to even beat, balthazar can be beaten easily now its just that the pre events for him is long, but for Teq?? why should he be tweaked, I think we need even more greater encounters like this, I for one havent even played to face teq, but I want him there for me, my guild and my server to challenge

actually, I like the living story a lot, but yeah 2 weeks then new LS?? there,s not too much time, I work and get to play 2hrs a day and whole day weekends, I wanna experience a other parts of the game on another character, and I cant do anything because im stuck with LS for the whole 2weeks just to get the AP, I couldn’t even get map completion on my other characters now since I need to do LS for my free time

Its stupid and they are sabotaging their game with this decision. But sometimes you have to do sound forensic tests before the truth is reflected in your bottom line.

I was going to buy something I missed buying last halloween the mad kings outfit for costume brawl that would have been a guaranteed sale. Along with some character slots down the road like I dont have a norn female but this change is so boneheaded its sapping my enjoyment.

yeah having alts is a way for them to make money because you like to gear them up and make them look good, but since your not gonna use em that much whats the point right??

I was planning to get the new medium armor skin in the gem store for my new upcoming thief but now i don’t have the urge to level him since he will have no use at all for me, and I also bought the aetherblade skins for my war and mesmer but now, its like they’re just mere display in my log in screen, I will use my guard since its the most loved character of mine

I’m sure there’s other crap too but circumventing time limitations by abusing alts leaves me with little sympathy.

Now those who legitimately want to get gear from a dungeon for multiple characters, that I can understand the complaint. Maybe make it so that tokens are character bound…problem solved!

That’s exactly what I’m talking about. I have 6 level 80s, so I have 6x as many weapons and pieces of armor to get as someone with only 1. Why is it such a big deal if I can gear them all in the same amount of time as a person with 1 gears if I put in 6x the work? With this change, I’m not allowed to put in more work than someone with 1 character, and instead just have to do it for 6x more days.

I guess the only solid reason is that the rewards are account bound and not soulbound and that they did not want people that spend hours a day grinding away on GW2 to get a massive leg up over more casual players by using those account bound things to gear up one character super quickly.

there really isn’t any leg up, money wise there is but the armors you get are soulbound so there’s no leg up there also, i’m a casual player and I can only do dungeons on my weekends because on a daily basis I can only do dailies, sleep then back to work, so I always look forward to my weekends where I can gear up at least 1 of em or at least get some armor parts, but with this gate they put, it will take me months and years just to get the gear I want for my characters, and ive lost interest in using em, because they wont be rewarded anyway, I love my main that has the legendaries I will just use that

this is so disappointing, I always look forward to my weekends because I have fun with running CoF p1-p2, AC p1-p3 on ALL my 5 characters. I have fun with em especially seeing the 60 tokens I receive, I really don’t have much care about the money that they nerfed, seeing my alts get rewarded with the tokens is good enough for me, but atm I don’t have the urge to play because what will I do, the things I love doing the most on my weekends are gone, I only do dailies then log out on my workdays, living story content is done in a matter of few hrs of gameplay, the alts I created and loved now are just gonna be placed in the back burners again, stored away in the cupboard

i know you can hover the mouse, its just thakittens more like an eyesore for me when I see it in my Hero panel, its not streamlined and sleek

if you’re looking for a way around this, then create a guild for each alt and create a guild bank then deposit there, and you have a bank of gold for each alt ^^

I know this might sound crazy, yeah I like the Idea of the account wallet, but it needs to be a bit more polished, I really don’t like to see a whole page of my hero panel , why not just icon sized list followed by how many do I have, plus I miss the achievement check boxes

not a COF farmer? then at least run it once or twice and you’ll see that your working your way to that 15g,

the dungeon is easy, as long as you have the skills to beat the mechanics of the game, but I feel you, if like me (didn’t finish the dungeon yet) was unlucky to have party members that sucks at the game, then the feeling of frustration would really kick in, don’t blame the game, blame the people who wouldn’t like to improve and enhance their gameplay

the dungeon is not hard at all, what is hard is finding the right players to do it with, because some really are just plain noobs that cant see how the mechanics are and couldn’t even get it after explaining it to them

Its sad that the animation on the ax effects are quite so subtle, would be nice if it was more fierce like a lightning strike each chop of the ax and the sound roars like thunder would be nicer that way, its not up to par with the 2 unlimited gathering tools

I love the pick animation so much and as well as the REVAMPED sickle animation both are sick!!!, but the ax its more like “eehh” ok good thing its unlimited

I see where Anet is going with this, people who do their dailies add player base to the game, and they add traffic, Anet wants us to play the game, because this has no sub your not forced to play it because your actually not losing money because your not playing it, you can log in anytime you want, so they reward the players who plays the game at a daily basis

Minis really does not any use at all at the moment because they always disappear when when you change maps or use a Waypoint, I hope when you take them out of your bag and display them they stay there by your side, its quite irritating taking them out all the time when you change maps or ports

i guess they should make legendary weapons that has 2 types, a dark side and a lighter side of things to cater to everyone’s taste

crafting for your weapon to use?? no, but if legendary are what you need to achieve go ahead

its because not all stats of legendaries suit a persons play styles, like I do, I dont like the stats of the legendary im crafting now

the game is for the whole world to play, I’m NA based server but I’m 12hrs ahead of EST, how would you know its already night time when to me US players night is my day and my day are your nights, and whose time frame shall I follow. its absurd if I can’t play WvW at my convenient time and I want to do something as well for my server,

I would say, start implementing server jumping limits already about once a week and all is well
