Lord of the Rings Online has had shared storage for a long time. In LoTRO I currently have it maxed out with 220 shared slots. The best part is it didn’t cost any real money, since LoTRO uses something called Turbine Points to buy shared slots, and you get those points free by completing stuff in the game.

At 700 gems / slot in this game and the cost of gems being so high (in money or trading for gold), I think the marketing people must think we are morons.

1. Patreon is for individuals, not companies. They would not be allowed to use it.
2. ANET is not short of money. It has never been a problem.

I bugged it in game. Something is definitely broken when I try it.

That video is totally different from what was happening to me. There was absolutely no time between the dragons attacks and sometimes they overlapped. I could do nothing other than watch my character slowly die.

The problem is that I can’t attack… ever… or do anything else, because I am in a constant knocked down state. I gave up after an hour of trying to avoid the claw when new dragon claws started appearing before the old one disappeared. I realized at that point I would never be able to do anything other than watch my character being batted around like a rag doll.

I just tried this tonight for the first time and for me putting out the fires is impossible because I am constantly in a knocked down state. I am never able to move around or use any of my skills. I spent an hour being thrown around and killed, trying desperately to find a way to avoid the dragons claw, but it is constantly popping out of the ground and hitting me. No more than 1/2 a second would pass before it would appear and smash me. Did the last update break this quest? Because it isn’t doable as far as I can see.

Until someone official actual says they can I am assuming they can’t.

I asked this for a friend of mine who doesn’t like using the forums. Roughly half his guild are not buying the expansion. He is worried this will cause the non buyers to leave and start a new guild, which he worries would cause what is left of his guild to fall apart.

So what happens to players who do not buy HoT but their guild has a guild hall. Do they have access to the hall or are they not able to use it?

Same thing is happening to me. I tried logging out, closing the program, and rebooting my PC, as well as running to the black citadel then back, but he still won’t talk to me. This is definitely broken.

They block them as soon as they are reported. What more can they do? It is not their fault that accounts got compromised.

No they don’t and that is the problem. Three times in the last week when I was in DR doing some banking and selling stuff I was being spammed by the same gold seller once a minute. I would report him each time, but nothing stopped. This went on for 1/2 hour with a total of 30 reports every day it happened. If the same spammer can show up and harass me for three days in a row then from my perspective they are doing nothing to stop it.

So going off internet speak, 3 times means within the same 1/2 hour. Report then block. You never hear from them again. Just because you report an action is not immediate. Try to step up and take action rather than putting blame where it does not belong.

Sorry, I typed the wrong word, I meant three days not times. Each day I was spammed around 30 times. It was the same account all three days that was harassing me. I was curious as to how long it would take them to do something about a spam report so that’s why I didn’t block the account On the fourth day I didn’t get any spam, so I assumed the account was shut down, but today I got spammed by the same account again so I blocked it and skipped the report.

Like I said before, when an account is allowed to continue spamming over multiple days, from my perspective they are doing nothing about it

At first I thought this was not working for me either, so I left the game running while I was looking for a solution, and after about ten minutes enemies started appearing in the kraal. To me it looks like a timer or trigger is set incorrectly. It would make a lot more sense if they showed up as soon as I entered after killing everything outside.

This just started happening a couple days ago. When I fist start the game I can select NPCs and objects that are selectable using my mouse without any problem. But after a couple minutes of playing I can no longer select anything. Logging out doesn’t do anything, but exiting the game and restarting fixes the problem for a couple minutes.

UPDATE: I now can no longer use the mouse to select anything in the game, even after a reboot of my computer and starting the game up fresh. This has made the game completely unplayable for me.
