Wiki says there are 82 total, though the table there lists 81. I counted few times all the ones I have on the account, and the amount seems to be 79 – unless ofc some of the ones I have completed didn’t count, so…

Actually, it’s happening on any map (well, any I tried). Doesn’t matter where I go, next time when logging onto the same map, my chars are in the place they were before moving.

Well, I’ve 17/18 done. And 1 run of repeatable Toypocalypse done, but meta isn’t complete. So, I’m not sure how exactly those repeatable ones count, Toypocalypse doesn’t, for me anyway.

Any confirmed information about the time of weekly reset for the BL key reward from low level personal story? Is it same hour every week, or 7 days after last one?

It seems that profanity filter in-game is bugged. Or is it that people who apparently are offended by some words (just your usual, properly spelled swear words) can turn it off and then “be offended” and report other players?

People who do not make it to top500 and aren’t anywhere close to top10 on their servers shouldn’t even post here. You do not understand that 10k AP players with no GW1 history got seriously, unfairly shafted with this 500 bonus given to others. You also do not understand that being at 10k+ means you were doing your dailies, all of them – nothing optional – for almost every day of the game.
So please, refrain from posting on subjects that you’re all not familiar with.

To be anywhere near the top on those boards you have to do PvP.

It’s a good thing, then, that the PvP rankings were in no way affected by the HoM (and living story) PvE achievement points change.

And that GW2 is not an FPS game.

Really, please… It’s an example. In no ranked game in the world (well, I don’t know them all ofc) you get ranking points for anything you did in previous releases. It does not matter if it’s PvP or PvE, MMO or FPS.

Meh, why talking about stuff that doesn’t interest you or holds no importance for you? Let me shed some light into that confusing issue with other points. None of AP leaderboard top players complains about other point boosts, because all of them got all those points and all are equally boosted now. And if they didn’t get them, they know it was their fault ’cos they all had equal chance to get them.

Read up on some stuff like rankings, competition, fair play and even ground, e-sports and all that. This game apparently had ambitions to be e-sports game. And it has ppl in development team who have no clue about leaderboards, ranking etc.

I’ve had 13k hours in GW1, 39/50 when I was ’’forced’’ to stop playing. Years ago as well, think it was before 6th bday of GW1. PvP match manipulation was a horrible idea….

Hard math I see. Anyone in top10 is in for the long run in this game. For all of us it is far easier to make up 20pts difference than 500. No, they didn’t work hard enough. ‘Cos I was ahead of them when they had 20pts or whatever. Now I’m not and they didn’t do anything to get that. They slacked in GW2 to the point that I got ahead of them. Now I’m kittened while they did nothing to deserve the ranking.

All you GW1 hardcore players got rewarded already. In GW1 and in GW2. Adding to it at expense of GW2 players is a disgrace.

You’re entitled to your 500 pts for playing GW1 (on top of all the other rewards you already got)? WIll I get fully unlocked and geared account in GW1 if I go to play there? ‘Cos you know, I’m loyal and very supporting GW2 player, so I should be rewarded in GW1 for it, right?

As for the difference between 20 and 500. I’m [almost] sure you can figure it out… 2 dailies vs 33 dailies. 2 days is someone going away for the weekend not being able to play while you can. 33 is a months break which is hardly going to happen to anyone who is already playing hardcore every day to be on top.

It’s always been an issue – and ppl playing for APs were talking about it before between themselves. I can easily count on someone missing 2 days while I won’t. Counting on 50 days is really not the same, trust me.

Playing another game for years has nothing to do with leaderboards for this game. And loyalty for business is measured by investment in it. I am not getting rewarded for the cash I spend, so….

You did not play GW2 hard enough to deserve 500 point boosts on the board out of nowhere. Ppl who did play for the ranking got screwed and it is simply unfair to base any competition score on some past games.

Was 20, not 50. And 20 is not 500. And ppl with 10k+ points were doing dailies, all of them, day after day, long before there were leaderboards.

For 20 pts, if it was that, you only need to play 2 days more than the other guy. That sounds viable. For 500 you need 25 times more. I’m sure now you see why 500 is far bigger deal than 20.

All that kittening about loving new points coming from ppl who apparently don’t care about points is amazing. Or is it that now you really care, after you were unjustly rewarded and find yourself feeling like it’s a competition too?

Leaderboards should stay, GW1 AP points should be completely removed from that ranking.

When they introduced AP leaderboards they made it a competition. Giving ton of points to ppl who just played some other game is like giving points advantage to sportsmen just cos they played in a different league.

It is wrong. All competition should be based on equal starting point. There is no equality in this case. Can’t go back to GW1 and get those points now. And if you can, it is going to be far harder than it was for people who got them in times when GW1 was actually full of players.

It’s a huge deal for any 9k+ AP player, and I’m pretty sure there are very few if any 9k+ AP players who do not feel like AP is a competition, and feel cheated now.

Why ANET wants me to go away from their game where I spend money regularly? What’s the point? Give me 500 AP GW1 pack in the shop, for the price of the game, I’ll buy it straight away.

This change should be reverted ASAP, or take down kitten AP leaderboards. Then go to school and learn how your mates are not getting 5 points advantage in whatever sport you play there just ’cos they played that sport outside of school.

I’ve been in the game with him and he does use some kind of speed hacks. Reported him for botting.

Is this a ‘fix’ for the lag maybe? Bugged event quests will make less people try the event next time, so there’ll be less lag at opening?
At the moment, I know it’s only been a couple but the best idea is to log on 3rd+ day of the event, hoping that at that stage everything will work? Otherwise it’s just annoying piece of kitten, not an event.

They are underwater. The one SE of Viathan WP has an entrance quite far away, close to where you change into pig to look for truffles. The other one is where the Blood Witch spawns, IIRC.

And skillpoint, that’s in the cave with centaurs, wasn’t it a piece of meat to take? You didn’t find it or you can’t get it?

I’m stuck at 80/82 with all hints unlocked. I think the problem is not clicking the hint message when it appears – if you don’t clikc it, it won’t count for achievement. Just a theory. Anyway, since big update is coming up, can someone just fix that or give alternative solution to us? Like, place a support ticket and they will grant you an achievement if you have all hints unlocked?

Ok Chris , will there be an NPC to refund all the exotics? ‘Cos I don’t feel like I need them now, or needed at all. You made some promises which influenced my decisions about using my game and real life resources and time, but you changed your mind. So naturally, I’m changing my mind and I want an in-game refund.
I’m pretty sure I can farm out Ascended kitten in rares or masterwork, less gold, euros and time spent gearing up. And of course refunded resources will help :P

WvW is all about the number of players. You’re individual stats don’t mean as much as you think they do. I am competitive in WvW. Have been from the get go, and levelled my characters in WvW. In the end, the +5 stats from a handful of items won’t equate to making you unstoppable. Even if you get Full Ascended gear, you still won’t benefit much. The increases in your overall pool of stats is pretty small. Even with +80 vit…. thats only 800 HP, most characters already do more than that in a single hit in WvW. Throw in conditions, crits, and the overall number of individual players, and that 800 HP means nothing at all.

So you are a competitive WvW player but you run rares on your char, right? And you never quite made it with less than 800hp left? Oh wait, what do you mean by competitive WvW player, you do puzzles 1/day, yeah?

This is ridiculous. How can you scam people like that?

Any GW player will feel cheated – this game was different and made us stick with it for years because of those differences. Now you’re going to go the wow-clone way? And against your own promises/rules?
Anyone that spent RL money to turn into gems/gold to get max stat gear is going to get scammed. And in all fairness, basement warriors living on their parents cash might not care, but people that earn that cash will.

What’s the real story? Panda killed WoW and all the wow-kids are here now, so the client base changed and GW2 has to please the majority of the population – wow-kids? Is that it? ‘Cos seriously, if there is any non-profit reason for decisions like that, your team has lost the plot.
And if it’s based on the population shift, you should let your players know that there will be a fundamental change of game philosophy and anyone that doesn’t like it can leave already. Oh no, you can’t do it because….
As a wow-clone traditional style MMO, this game sucks (‘cos it wasn’t designed to be like that). And it appears that as a continuation of the most successful alternative to wow-clone MMOs, it will soon suck too (‘cos now you’re changing your principles).
