I just wanted to say that the response time you guys have shown is incredible. Everyone is complaining about this or that and it gets dealt with. It’s almost like a whole new team. Seems like all i see on the forums now is nerf this or that or a Do this now Anet. I haven’t gotten a chance to play much of HoT, but from what i have played i have enjoyed it. Thanks for all the changes!

I can tell you that is the icon for necromancer on Chinese server. They use that because the skull icon obviously can’t make past censorship.

Anet was probably just using it as a placeholder for undesigned class icon.

Conclusion : After so much time reading the forum it seems that most players are The best player of [insert class 1] and that [insert class 2] isn’t concerned by [insert specific issue] because [insert class 2] is easy to play/OP.

N.B. : I’m not saying that there is no issue. I’m not saying that X or Y class is OP/UP. The point of this post is only about players’ reaction. Yes, the game still needs balance but I’m definitely not talking about that.

i think what they are trying to do is make it to where everyone is frustrated that they cant do anything and will quickly accept the queue.

This looks like it could definitely be an exploitable bug. you are still able to cast even though you are in mist form. a well placed flesh worm could get you out no problem with this tactic.

yeah they should def let us have more time to look at our stats. bur for now you can just screenshot what you need.

I’ve never really had trouble with que times but I mean, nothing says you have to stand in one place watching the clock. There may not be much but you can find a few fun things to do. I’ve had coordinated dance offs with random asurans before, jumped off every spot in the mist till I found a way to die at the bottom and not be force warped back, panhandled as a Quaggan (which actually lead to another Quaggan guild being formed with random ppl lol), etc. Not to mention you can always just do productive stuff like watch the market, sell or organize your inventory, practice on NPC’s, etc. It’s not that bad

I haven’t seen this reported yet, but it seems a lot of the times whenever I use the new shatter the chains placed on the ground become unkillable and you end up never getting your cooldowns back. The chains will remain there indefinitely until you walk 5000 range away and only then will it trigger the shatter return. Pretty devastating when you rely on all those cds to come back.

i think everyone just feels defeated and doesn’t feel like arguing with anet anymore on this issue. i think its unanimous, nobody wants to sit in the mists.

because anet wants you to be able to play other games while you wait for your 8 minute queue to pop. its very thoughtful of them.

I believe it was intended to lower the amount of 4v5s or something. or ppl kept canceling. some dumb reason like that. And guess what! we have tons of those still. problem is not fixed and we still have to wait around for no reason.

This thread is funny. OP says that this burst is insane, but in the video that he provided he was doing the same thing to the other mesmer from 1200 range. If he had just as many guard stacks + death sigil bonus + power food we would see very similar damage. When i jump on my ranger for a bit whenever i get bursted i would at least instantly activate the stone sig. OP had 2 different utilities left to be able to survive this encounter i think. Always gotta be able to react to these!

fps and ping are normal when this happens. It happens practically everytime i log on now.

One thing that i wish for that will never happen is the ability to record a game. Like you could go back and play everything again from each players perspective. I loved this feature back when i used to play competitive COD. One can dream.

If a bunker gets killed in 1 second by a single class, it’s a damage issue. Bunkers should be made to dodge, but they shouldn’t die from a single combo burst. You’re not a bunker anymore if you can’t even survive that. They sacrifice all their damage, a bunker can’t kill a zerker in a second, regardless what they use or how incompetent the zerker is, it shouldn’t work the other way around.

A bunker before the patch could still be busted down. You can’t just stand still and expect to live from a full combo.

You mean how they’re considerably weaker now because the damage right now is off the charts? There was a video where a mesmer downed a sentinel amulet guardian using a combination of abilities that took him a total of one second. Sure, he could have dodged some of it. But if a tank dies instantly to a single class because he didn’t or couldn’t dodge…How can bunkers be in a good state right now?

No I have not seen this video but I know that from experience there are incredibly tanky builds out right now. For instance necro, there are lots of them right now that can maintain over 50% DS even after bursting it. If a bunker gets killed in 1 second it’s a l2p issue. I am a mesmer and I get stealth busted all the time and can still survive. Surely a good bunker can too.

Thats some great input. But im missing the reason for these random suggested nerfs. perhaps you think mesmers have too many ways to produce clones? maybe mesmers are hard to track down?

yeah its pretty silly that you can outplay yourself pretty hard by repositioning a downed body for the other team.

Because we are playing guild wars 2, not tab wars 2. If a game makes it to where you have to look elsewhere for entertainment, then its doing something wrong.

pls. i want to do things while i queue up. so boring standing around doing nothing.

There are times when i have a utility that has a long cooldown and by the time i get another match its still on cooldown and i cant swap it out for something else.

For example, I will be running moa for one game and if i use it at the end of a match and immediately get another match it will still be on cooldown and I cant swap it out for mass invis if I need it instead.

I don’t want to have to stand 5+ min doing nothing while i wait for q pop. All that wasted time i could be dueling.

This just happened to me. It was in a ranked match and i had a full team. the other team had 4 and i opened the scoreboard to see the shiny button just waiting to be pressed. as soon as i clicked it my whole team crashes. We load back into the game and for a while we couldnt queue because it said match in progress.
