how many people actually died in Dragon fights

but how many people actually died in Zhitan and Mordremoth assault’s and how many Pact forces are left I know there still recruiting but eventually they should run low on troops with so many being killed off all the time which leaves into question how the kitten are they going to fight the other dragons with such few resources unless the mary sue heroes kill all the enemies by themselves which seems crappy

I mean unless in Tyria you can pop out a kid and they turn into an adult in less than 4 days the story seems kind of shallow in that area

Since modern Kryta is based on Renessciance-era Europe, I took the population of London and Paris and averaged them to get 300,000 people living inside Divinity’s Reach alone. This does not include the estimated 80,000 living out in the countryside in Kryta. Now, to move onto Charr who would have 150,000 living inside the Citadel with the number fluctuating as Legions assemble. The Charr are a Warrior Society with more Charr outside their Citadel than within. I would guess (these are unconfirmed) that they would have 450,000-strong outside including Legionnaires prior to Zhaitan. (All of these would be before Living Story Season One). Then the Asura have 120,000 living within Rata Sum and around 10,000 outside in the Jungle. The Sylvari would have close to 90,000 total within Caledon and the Grove. The Norn are a proud race, but their numbers are not nearly as high as they once were prior to Dragons. The Norn would most likely have around 20,000 in Hoelbrak and 40,000 in the wilds since they are mostly a hunter-gatherer society.

That leaves our race populations:
Humans: 380,000
Charr: 600,000
Asura: 130,000
Sylvari: 90,000
Norn: 60,000

We can assume that prior to the Invasion of Orr that 1/40 humans were in one of the Three Orders. We can also assume 1/40 Asura were in one of the Three Orders. And also assume that 1/40 Charr were in one of the Orders. And also assume 1/40 Sylvari were in one of the Three Orders. And then assume 1/40 Norn were in One of the Three Orders.
That means:
Humans: 9,500 (In Three Orders Total)!
Asura: 3,250 (In Three Orders Total)!
Charr: 15,000 (In Three Orders Total)!
Sylvari: 2,250 (In Three Orders Total)!
Norn: 1,500 (In Three Orders Total)!
Total: 31,500+5330 Members from Lion’s Arch
I won’t get into how much for each Order, but this is prior to Zhaitan.
I would assume Zhaitan and his minions killed about 1/5 Pact Members. That leaves us with about 29,460 Pact Members. After slaying Zhaitan. I would say Pact encouragement went up tremendously after destroying Zhaitan. I would say roughly the Pact strength went from 29,460 members x1.5= Around 44,200 total Pact Members. I would also say Scarlet and her shenanigans killed roughly 1/8th of the Pact.
This means the Pact Prior to Silverwastes or Dry Top is 38,675. Then 1/15 Pact Members were killed from the whole Dry Top/Silverwastes scenario. Which means we have roughly 36,100 Pact Members left. Then there had to be an influx of recruits after realizing Mordremoth had a presence nearby central Tyria. So I would say 36,100*1.15= Roughly 41,520 Pact Members prior to HoT. The Pact had to leave some men and women behind to keep their three headquarters safe. I would say they left behind around 15,000 to safeguard their forts, bases, spy networks, excavations, and recruitment. That leaves 26,520 to bring the fight to Mordremoth. And we see around 1/3 of the Pact Forces crash and die along with 40% of the Sylvari who were turned into minions. With 1/7 of the current Pact being Sylvari (made up numbers) and 1/3 of the Pact dying. That leaves a scattered 13,890 remaining Pact Members! Throughout the time of HoT, I’d say we lost 1/4 of the 13,890 Pact Members. 10,420 Pact Members remain from the Campaign against Mordremoth.

Total Pact Members in Maguuma: 10,420
Total Pact Members in Tyria: 25,420

Talk about casualties.

Removing sigils and runes would further imbalance crafting. They’re important for the people that do need them. I do agree there is too much inventory management in HoT, but making HoT map currencies to open treasure chests would help. Some tips that can help you combat inventory management:
1) Do not salvage and/or open chests or bags until you’re ready to take a break.
2) Use sigils for the Mystic Forge so they have further use to you instead of cheap copper sales.
3) Deposit all collectables after each event is concluded.

Armour is an important mechanic of the game. It allows heavy armoured-professions to be able to take more of a punch but be lacking in other areas. If armour restrictions were removed, there would be less unique things about each profession and would make the game feel more cookie-cutter. The only way I could see this work effectively is if ANET introduced specs which allowed Elementalists to tank in heavy armour. Beside that, it’s purely cosmetic and outfits are the solution (not the best solution to your problem, but a solution nonetheless).

Fields of Ruins event still bugged

As you can see in the picture, there is one harpy from a previous content patch that is level 81. The issue is that players of all levels do not scale to level 80 and remain level 30ish. There is only one harpy. All the others are around level 37. If the harpy could be removed or scaled down to the appropriate level of Tanglerot Hills, Fields of Ruin, that would be appreciated! Thanks for any future feedback!

Gem Purchasing Error

I recently bought Guild Wars 2 HoT Ultimate Edition with my Chase Debit Card and attempted to purchase GEMS separately from the Expansion Pack. However, when I attempted to purchase the GEMS, an error occurred. I’ve tried multiple times on my account and each time it says an error occurred. NOTE: I do not have a VPN setup!
When I log into my CHASE account, Guild Wars 2 HoT Expansion still says pending, despite it being two days since purchase. I think this has caused the problem (I’m not sure). I already used my HoT minis and unlocked everything although my 4000 GEMS have yet to come in yet. So, I am not sure if I can refund to fix this pending system because accepting confirmation after purchase can apparently cause pending issues with CHASE DEBIT. Any help would be appreciated regarding suggestions with CHASE.

For those calling for a merge instead of MegaServers that would not solve the problem. It would also not be future proofing PvE.

Mergers + fixing the unpopular zones and making them more attractive would.

How would you fix underpopulated zones. It may fix it for a little bit but it is not a permanent solution as soon as more newer areas are released as players would always go for the newest shines.

Fixing the Megaserver code to be more consistent and effective in priority sorting would be a step in the right direction to solve most of the issues people presented. Adding an interface that allows people to tell the code which conditions for sorting take precedence (Check mark boxes for RP, Server, Language, ect.) would be a great boon to the system as it gives players the power to refine their gaming experience.

Please use this solution, ANet. A check-marking system would really save us from the hole you put Piken Square and Tarnished Coast in.

Unable to sell on Trading Post?

Unable to sell on Trading Post?

Recently, there’s been some issues with selling on the TP. (at least on my account)
I’m able to still sell gear but clearly unable to sell silk scraps, potent venom sacks, moldy bags, etc…
Does anyone know a solution to this or possibly some type of way to fix this?
I can’t live without my trading post!

The same thing was happening to me when I was playing during Thanksgiving. Your internet provider may be responsible for this. Some provider throttle speeds and raise ping when large amounts of people are eating up their internet lines.
I’m sure once Winter’s Break ends, you’ll be fine. Glad I could help!

My Transmutation Stones ALL gone?

Hello people of Guild Wars 2, I have a really disappointing problem:
I’ve been saving my Transmutation Stones, but it seems they’re all gone. I’ve checked my alts and my bank and even my bank. They’re not there. I do have 16 Transmutation Crystals from buying them and Black Lion Chests. there’s absolutely no trace of them! And I KNOW I didn’t delete them!
Did Arena Net do an update, because today I finished map completion for Harathi Hinterlands and instead of being rewarded Transmutation Stones, I was awarded Transmutation Crystals instead. Don’t get me wrong, I like Crystals, but having my 39 Stones vanish from my bank, is really depressing, considering I know have so many transmutes for my own pleasure.
If anyone could answer this, I’d appreciate it!

Does anyone know the most overplayed profession? I would probably say Warrior or Guardian.
Not exactly sure. By FAR the least overplayed class is the Monk. I have yet to see one in Guild Wars 2. (Had the game since launch)
I guess people don’t like being a healer and doing little to none DPS. It’s a shame.
Maybe I should role a Monk…

If you people are wondering why NCSoft destroyed our beloved Canthan district and did not display any of our continent, it’s because of Blizzard. When Guild Wars 2 was going to be released, Mists of Pandaria was released with an Asian style. The Devs did not want to look like they were copying Blizzard, so they got rid of Canthan District.
We most likely will never see Cantha again.

I have an idea that could be implemented in the game to consume time off of players and give Guilds a new challenge to complete.
I think it would be a great idea to have Player homes in a phased area where people could enter by looking at a huge list of phased zones that look the same but have lots for sale. I would say that around 100 phased neighborhoods for each major city.
These land plots should also have Guild homes, these homes are able to be accessed by being a certain rank or friend on an exclusive list or party.
These houses should have a system of being able to rotate/move furniture and earn furniture through in game gold or gems. If anyone has any ideas, please put them below and it would be amazing to see a Forum manager reply to this.
