What if no class could stealth out of combat. how would that effect the game.

How do you stack rank all current RvR options? Eg:
there is no ranking because there is no other game with rvr worth mentioning.
thats why people keep playing the half completed gw2 wvw
eso rvr also not worth mentioning
timezone participation is hard to balance
Merge Tiers
In SPvP 4 vs 5 means Game over.
In WvW it’s more like 2 vs 5 for many Servers and for way too long
WvW is too broken to be fixed with a Screwdriver
It needs a Hammer to restore the fun.
And the few days after the last Pip Patch where all maps were full were the best days in WvW since years where winning or losing did not matter at all because people just had alot of fun on all maps around the Clock.

All servers with half the numbers of bg that fought bg in the last half year got lockbanned for some reason. TC is not the only empty locked Server
Is there still activity in WvW?
NA servers now have 2 overstacked servers
BG with twice as many people as any other server which is 2 mapblobs during EU time and 2-3 mapblobs during NA time that can’t be beaten by PPT
and
Maguuma with normal numbers but very strong players and teamwork players that can’t be beaten in fights
means if you fight bg you can’t win by PPT and whatever zergsize you bring, bg will get twice your numbers most of the time
if you fight maguuma, you will either lose large scale fights or you can force a withdraw by running away or staying in your keep and don’t even try to fight
with that situation general wvw participation sinks because everyone got bored most of the time + all servers got lockbanned untill next year so no changes to expect
The couple of days with patchday queues, 4 full maps and amazing action everywhere at anytime that everybody enjoyed are over. The people that returned after years left again and it’s back to idle times instead of neverending large scale fights.
In T2 or lower it’s even unplayable. Reminding more of heavily oversized sPvP maps than WvW.
Why does Arenanet still insist on making this Gamemode as boring as possible by denying Tier Merges?
after we destroyed the maguuma commander and his blob the maguuma commander immediately kneeled and accepted us as his new owner just as our new risen lordcommander promised.
we snapped a finger and the mag commander purrrd like a good dogcat. we told him to fetch a stick and he ran, searching.
we commanded them to help us destroying the yb keep in ebg and they did without a question or scratching us.
after that we commanded them to destroy the yb garrison with us and they obeyed, sending their strongest to impress us.
the question now is after yb drops a tier next week and another unstacked server comes up for example FA.
what happens when FA beats a Mag commander? does that mean they will own mag then or will mag still be loyal to us, their first owners? or can mag even have 2 owners? like FA commands them during sea and we command them during NA?

All those fake attempts to Balance really start to look ridiculous Arenanet.
When a Server gets too strong and the Bandwagon pushes it’s queues then WvW Guilds will transfer anyway again, getting forced to rebalance by transfering or playing on their Sleeper Accounts.
I doubt there will be a huge money loss.
Once again, a Testmonth won’t be the end of GW2.
what may be right for you or for me may not be right for the whole.
Mainpoint is a PPK Mode only Tier.
Same as in SPvP that had a PPK map for a while.
This Solution is needed for NA.
I don’t know the problems of EU and can’t talk about the WvW there
But NA needs:
A seperated PPK Tier.
The Pro’s are:
1- All Guilds that only want to fight can be in 1 Place, seperated from those Casual Gamers and New Players they hate so much.
2- The old War between the 2 fractions New Players/Casual Gamers vs Ultranerds will be finally over when everyone is with the People they like only.
3- The bunch of Hardcore Players that are trying to build it’s own WvW for years can finally stop messing up everyone’s Game and have a PPK Mode only.
4- New Players can enjoy the Game again after the Hardcore Playerbase is reduced and the Campspawn and guaranteed win/lose Era comes to an End without being forced to join an empty WvW in an empty Tier for that.
6- Overall fights will be better if New players and casual Gamers are no longer mixed with Players that spend much much more time in the Game and are much better organized.
7. Natural balance will get a Chance to recover once the special Players are in their own Special PPK Tier
8. Unlike other fixing WvW Solutions, this change doesen’t cost anything and doesen’t require much Work of the Dev’s.
9. New players can play WvW the way they want without the hate, insults and exclusions they face in higher Tiers.
10. The trolling and Toxicness will get reduced outside of the Hardcore PPK Tier, making it more enjoyable for New and Casual Gamers
11- And probably the most important Point,
Arenanet doesen’t lose Money from Server Transfers to maintain their expensive Servers.

Thieves are Overpowered
After reporting a Thief with suspicious Cooldowns he stealthed untill today.
Necros are tough too.
That teleporting Necro i fought just disappeared in a Grave where i can’t kill him
Another Thief dodged right out of the Game before i had the Chance for Revenge
But if you don’t count Hackers as a Class, i’d say any class with a sPvP Build fighting any Class with a WvW build is heavily overpowered.
You just can’t beat a Roamer with a WvW build.
It’s a beautifully done map, as is the desert BL, just lacks the people needed to make it more enjoyable. With it in place of EBG, i’d gladly go there.
its definately the best of all 4 wvw maps but it would need some rework. the blue and green inner keeps have no walls while the red keep is vulnerable from all sides.
not that it matters much as there is always 1 server who is stronger and can deal with a vulnerable keep but after all the crying about the desert map you can be sure the desert map was the last big map update for wvw.
Devs play on a lot of different worlds and move around frequently and that includes the WvW team. However, the WvW team also plays together on a different random world once a week.
On Duty it’s true, you guys can be found everywhere but off duty?
What about the years of having certain Guilds on Blackgate knowing the Patchdetails long before the first official announcements?
What about the many times when that Server recruited Guilds and once these Guilds were ready to transfer the Server opened for a short time?
What about the times where Patches answered the general demands of certain Blackgate Guilds?
A few dozen times too obvious for a simple “We play everywhere” Story.
The permastealth-trapper thief needs to be nerfed. There is no counter play to this. It’s toxic and should not exist in this game.
Nobody has ever seen a permastealth-trapper. How do you nerf what isn’t there?
Nobody on Blackgate was attacked by a Ghost Trapper therefore they don’t exist.

The Devs on Blackgate proudly confirmed that with the latest Guild Transfers to Blackgate the WvW Balance has been successfully restored for now.
No more whiny Threads about balancing please.
The amount of frontline Meta WvW Guilds are limited and while most of course want to join easy modes in Blackgate or Maguma, the third T1 Server doesen’t get enough of that WvW Guild cake to become an offensive threat for most of the time. leaving T1 a 2 Server fight.
At the same time these “full” Edgeservers TC and JQ are too strong for T2, leaving other T2 Servers that don’t have Serverhopper Guilds no chance to win.
The Solution is easy, merging the edgeservers TC and JQ to finally build a third T1 Server that can actually go offensive from time to time with active accounts that euqal BG or MG while at the same time freeing T2 from a Server that can’t be beaten, making it interesting there too.
The ranking Sytem might work for lower Tiers but in T1 there are mainly People who want to fight large battles only, it can’t be won or lost there, only screwed up by an unbalance that bores everyone in T1 & T2.
The amount of Ascended Materials you get in WvW is really annoying. Could you remove it please or at least give us a Blocklist for unwanted Loot?
Since Maguma Blobs could beat BG Blobs alot of BG transfered to Maguma or created new Accounts on it.
Why is that so?
And how long till Arenanet renames it to BGuma?
We all know the old conflict that appeared since the first Gamer quit Life and played much more than the others to archieve more gaming experience.
Noobs vs Nerds, 2 old enemies who can’t co-exist. While the Noobs Game gets slowed down because he gets too busy reading all the public insults, private message flames and sorting his new haterstalker-list to the point where he spends more time reading than getting better, the Nerds entire Life gets destroyed by those ignorant Noobs who refuse to quit the Game till they know how to play it (true quote).
And now where ascended rewards are part of the Game, this epic Dramastorm gets even worse but theres no need for it. All people can be happy again.
Simply make 2 Leagues, 1 League for Noobs below pvp lvl 80 and 1 League for Nerds above PvP lvl 80. Splitting these old enemies will help both enjoying the Game more.
The new Dot Icons make wvw definately look better and its easier to count but they can’t be used without losing the tactical ability to see enemies and their ridiculous long names behind every wall.
The old superlong names must be finally completely removed or the new Dots can’t be used without weakening yourself.

Setting the character quality to minimum reduces the computerlag drastically.
In wvw if the servers had only to calculate informations about Kodan warriors and not fashion queens, wouldn’t a 3-way blobfight such as the smc fights be possible without the servers getting on the edge and causing lags?

so what about
4 – arenanet counts inactive accounts.
in my guilds i have 117 people who didnt log on for a year or longer and im in small jq guilds only. i didnt count the people who didnt play for 3-12 months.
now count inactive people from all jq guilds and count all the non jq accounts from the other server, visitors bad and good that have been created over the years, count people who created free accounts on jq just to have something there for the case, so count all the accounts that have no influence on the population strenght then you got a full server with much less people than other full servers

can you reset stats on ascended backpieces like with armor and weapons?
Shouldn’t queques be the wanted result of the Server merging in wvw. so mixing 3 servers if needed untill the alliance is really full? i’m just wondering what this update was about because the unbalance clearly persists
What would you like that doesen’t make you stronger but makes the Game more enjoyable. I want
1. unlocking +25% Travel Speed always for outside of Combat without wasting runes, traits or skills for it. It could have an Increased out of combat time untill it restarts again.
2. something that automatically salvages my white,green, blue loot and automatically stores the materials in my bank.
3. unlocking a scroll down menu for armor and weapons and trinkets like in spvp so i don’t have to carry all my sets with me anymore
i would pay a million gems for these things
could look like this:
Reducing the ridiculous desert Keep and tower Sizes by 50%.
Removing everything that hindered you from walking straight lines in any direction.
Garrison is up on a Desert Mountain similar to the alpine Map. For the athmosphere and the final Goal to conquer the Top mountain while you see it from everywhere on the Map.
No need for the outdated alpine Map. just rework and mix both for the better new look of the desert map but without its annoyances
The Server with the most Numbers will win as always.
Anet knows it, every single wvw players knows it.
There is no Server merge to make sure all have maximum wvw players and the same chances.
There is no option to ally with the other lower populated Server to stand a chance against the numbers of the most populated server.
All Towers and keeps are built like a Glass House with 100 possible ways to get in to make sure there is no way for a few to fight off many.
In the entire Game there is only 1 place where a smaller crowd can fight off a bigger crowd, thats the blue Keep of eotm.
The rest of the Game is about Numbers only.
So whats the point of a wvw Tourney? Wouldn’t it be faster and better if server just get rewarded for the amount of people they have? :p
all aspects of the map design rewards people who avoid battles and go for empty towers and thats what most do, raiding empty towers following organized farmtrains.
and if a tower is well defended and challenging, the farmcommander just walks to the next one.
wvw is not the place for people who actually like to fight.
the new map is for farming only as well and even worse, short round based so sieging up is not even worth it.
i wouldnt go that far to say that anet has no clue about pvp/wvw. im sure the 1 year of culling and unlimited stealth and the 100 ways to avoid challenge was intended to make the game more unique but it cant be that hard to create a map for skirmishers who dont like to chainfarm undefended towers. remove the bags if you fear millionars over night but give people who like real mass pvp something, thanks.
How are we supposed to get any informations about the quest itself and even more important, the locations?
