I agree. I enjoy the look of this game so much that I often park my character in a favorite spot while I’m doing work or reading. Kinda like a living screen saver.

And thats one of the main reasons for the complaints. They advertised NO grind. Especially one that takes months to get a piece of armor or weapon that will be outdated in the next “power creep”.

The new items are not stronger than leg weapons. Leg weapons are an optional grind.

Point is, I’ll have plenty to do over that span of time and a legendary will be a happy result of months spent playing the game. So Anet has my attention. To be fair I’m a fanboy to the point that I’m even looking forward to the 3rd GW novel… so take what I say with a grain of salt.

As I see it real life is hard and disappointing, so I never feel bad about flying a fanboy flag when it comes to relatively inert things like comic books, movies, and video games. This game is great now and it will be amazing in the future.

Princess because I find it terrifying. I don’t feel like she’s fallowing me so much as I’m running from her.

I go with what looks right and reflects on who my hero is. For example, my thief’s armor is a mix of medium crafted exotics (Rampager, Knight, Cleric). I transmuted these with Whispers armor because he’s a member of Order of Whispers. The best part is whenever someone else is around wearing Whispers armor you can say to them I’m here to buy some apples ;-)

Anyone else out there like me and figure you’ll have a legendary after about 1 1/2 to 2 years of game play, and you’re OK with that? Because I am. As it stands my opinion is a legendary is a symbols of a player’s dedication to GW. If you love GW and that’s all you play, here’s your legendary. If not, no legendary for you.

Until Quaggan is a playable class, there will be no best overall class.

I think buying a legendary would be the equivalent of having someone log onto your account and complete the Clock Tower JP for you. I don’t think I would run around the room screaming in victory by simply purchasing something off the TP.

I respectfully do not agree. This is a prelude to a much lager story arc, and just 1 story line at that. I’m looking forward to what the future will bring.

It would be really cool if people across all servers would just agree that the first Saturday of the month, for example, would be a WvW puzzle ceasefire day.
