Khristal, Ruin came from a T1- T2 server, don’t know where you got your information. We know what its like to be night capped. Anet said night capping was part of the game. We had two options, recruit a night time force(we tried) or become a night time force, so we have adapted and luckily we found a great server that needed coverage during our play times. Ruin is just part of a Desolation team of great guilds small and large.

May not be a official alliance, but theirs fishy things going on like a certain a guild playing on both French servers last week. Cant wait to play wvww with 3 servers actually trying to win, rather then knock out just 1.

LOL, 5 V 20 Ruin, highly doubtful. We have held Sm all day against both servers hitting us, if you were that skilled and we were that bad, its impossible we coudl stand up aga9inst your uberness.

Good to see BT doing well, lot of respect for your server over here, we know it will be just a matter of time before we met up again in T1 with you, though the french have are doing their combined best to stop it.

Great fights in vz borderlands, AB zerg hitting from the south and VZ zerg from the north at DB. Some how us horrible deso players still have the orb.

I think T1 will be a tough fight, expecting a hard core 2v1, cant wait.

SaVdoom we are hoping for a good fight in T1 and have expected they will have night coverage as do the NA T1 servers. We had hoped T2 would as well after getting such a great fight in T3 from BT, but Kodash and FSP have been disappointing, and only shown a alot of whining and quitting. To bad we have to face one of you again next week, least BT is moving to T2 where it properly belongs and will give a good fight.

Syntax find 24/7 coverage is the main option, if you want to be T1 and soon T2, if you cant, then have fun and enjoy the fights in the lower tiers. Bashing the players on servers with 24/7 is not going to help. Last week and this week we suffered from day capping and BT(XAOC) forced us to try some new strategies to combat this with our limited forces during this time. You guys are going to have to find your own strategies and use the time spent on these forums bashing us more constructively.

Funny all these comments about Ruin not being successful in NA and moved EU for easier fights. Ruins former server was consistently T1-2 server(since we left they are plummeting in ranking), no we were not the #1 server, we did not have as good 24/7 coverage as the other servers and prime time we did not have the quality of guilds that Deso has in guilds like Iron, GG, and GOD to name a few and the militia is fantastic here. Deso is not just winning because of night capping, but the team work here has been great and is the main reason Deso will be a T1 server soon. Alo find the zerg comments amusing, its large scale warfare, get over it, do spvp if ya want small scale pvp.

Anet is not going to change night capping, or any thing silly like not allowing NA players to play WvW on a EU server. Top tier NA servers need 24/7 coverage and have needed it for weeks now to remain in the top tier. Top tier EU will need 24/7 coverage, those that don’t will drop to lower tiers and if you just want good fights, you should get them as servers fall to their proper tier. EU servers will need to adapt if they want to be a “top” tier server.

Looking forward to BT next week, BT impressed us all last week and expect them to be even tougher.

T1 keep with no defenders can have the gate down very quick with out siege, a upgraded keep we will always use siege. Also, just because you see some Ruin tags in a zerg, doesn’t mean its a “ruin” zerg. I often go to other borderlands while waiting for the que in what ever BL is our main BL.

No guild wins every fight, but we definitely win more then we lose and with so many great deso wvw guilds, that trend will continue.

My first impression: Not impressed at all by Ruin. Weak tactics, mostly inferior players(both gear and skill, or so it seems). Lots of players though.
We kept them at bay rather easily on the map we were assigned to because they never split their zerg or employ any kind of advanced raid tactics whatsoever. Even though we were outmanned we wiped their zerg several times. We even raided their middle keep with 4 people (+some for the lord once doors were open) and they didnt even notice until it was too late.

After most of us (germans) went to bed they started taking over the entire map though. Same with FS, they barely have anybody online right now (it’s 5am in central Europe). I expect this to get even worse once the weekend is over.

I fail to see the point, why would any massive US guild do this to themselves……

Ya, you snuck one on us at garrison, which we took back immediately and proceeded to take every thing else back. Besides your sneak attacks, didn’t noticed any thing I was impressed from you guys either, only was in one losing battle myself against you.

Huge props to BT and XAOC, you guys keep bringing it. Forced us to learn/try new strategies.

IRON is fine. They may be a bit elitist, but actually IRON worked for this and you should thank them, since they put the pieces together.

Since RUIN already thought they were the single force to make HoD Nr. 1 in the NA-Brackets well… why should their attidude change? Ruin would most likely not be able to organize a smaller Server to win in WvW, so they choose one that already was fairly well organized. They would not meet much competition during their primetime. And in difference to IRON who fought even at night, there is no sign that RUIN does this to help Desolation with their small numbers during the morning, but then again RUIN seems to believe that all europeans have to stop sleeping so that they could fight them (since germans and french do not have large Oversee-Forces).

IRON is fine, they fought even as Desolation wasn’t in a good position. You should allow them to be a bit elitist in this case, since they actually deserved it, it seems like some of them where fighting for 24h^^.

If your going to hate us, please at least hate us for actions you actually observe, so much she said he said in this thread. We fought HoD we we had nothing to do with them being the number 1 NA server and were fighting them when they lost their first match. You will allways find some ruin on during our off peak times in your mornings, I usually am in EB or where ever I can find Iron.
