I think what digiowl was saying: They can’t (or shouldn’t) make the same thing for other forms, like the mist. Possible scenario: You are about to die, 11%hp left, get tons of bleedings on you and change to the death shroud to escape. Well, at 10% hp you automatically leave death shroud because the mist is activated → the bleeding kills you while your life-energy for the shroud is still full.

Hi anonim, I had your same issues. Do you use runes which give you transformation like Vampirism which transform you in mists? If so remove it. They proc at 90% life force as it would be health and transform you in mist but you cannot see it (since the UI in Death Shroud is designed to confuse you).
For some strange reason when you swap out of DS your skill bar is empty too.

Ok, will test it, ty.
But… in fact it IS a Bug, so plz fix =)

I have a serious problem with the death-shroud: When entering this form, I can’t activate any skill for about 1,5-2 secs. It then works properly until I leave the form. Then my skillbar (skill 1-5) just shows no skills (greyed out) for about 1,5-2 secs. It’s pretty annoying and I’m sure it is no lagg or sth, everything else works fine.
(PC-specs: Core i5-2500, 4GB RAM, Radeon HD6950, while my internet transmits with around 11mb/s download and around 8mb/s upload. So it should work as intended). I just asked in the wartower-forum, and it’s seems I’m not the only one experiencing this problem.
Had this problem in sPvP (don’t know if it’s that or the fact that I had some traits I don’t have for my necromancer in PvE, yet.)

There are some of them just not willing to read the chat, attacking all and everything they see and activating all sorts of traps which kill the whole group. But, more often, my PUGs are nicely if you just do what you have to, or say something, if it was your fault that the group failed. No one needs to be the best player ever, no one needs to never make mistakes. Just be nice, ask if there is a problem and don’t get rude or claim everyone else are noobs… Just evade the word “noob” and everything will be fine =) And don’t forget to read the chat.
(well, 80% of the cases, the other 20% are just PUGs you don’t even want to try to play with… but well… that’s life ^^)

Some steps in the right direction

Ascended weapons, one time events… there are other threads for these topics.
What I just want to mention:
Anet, you took a great step into the right direction by NOT giving the bosses in the fractals 10.000.000 hp, but instead meaking them move and making them hit hardly if one doesn’t dodge. This is how all bossfights should be: FUN.
Same goes for the Kraka on the new map: They fall quickly, but if you let them, they’ll bury you fast. Even the champions have the right amount of life.

For me, that’s a big deal, because there are too much champions, which have too much life but aren’t really fun to beat. Just auto-attacking for an hour and you’ll kill him. The “new” bosses are much more fun. The bosses in the fractals (nearly) are all fun to fight against (just the jellyfish-boss at the end of the underwater fractal is a bit of the “old” way… btw, nice move with the dolphin-part, really like it).

Do NOT make the Ascended Armor more powerful than the exotic ones… not even a litte. That’s exactly the philosophy I really hate! This was one of the great ideas of GW1 and I hoped that they wouldn’t change that…
