This thread. It amuses me. I love that apparently only HOD has no skill yet when they post videos/images of them taking on harder odds… apparently it doesn’t count. Good stuff.

Games over the interwebs are the best.

Hod is about 50% necros atm, so them beating the odds isn’t really that amazing.

Additionally, every server has skilled players, and the bad ones tend not to post videos. So don’t put too much importance on some roamers posting stuff on Youtube, no matter what server they are from.

Depending on who you ask, we’re 50% necros, 50% guardians, 50% mesmers, or 50% rangers. I think i’ve seen all of them applied to us. That’s like, 200% No wonder we beat the odds!

To your second point, that essentially proves my point I was trying to make. It’s entirely pointless who argue about “skill”. The sole purpose of talking about skill is to bait people into forum warrioring. In the end, every server has skill, every server lacks skill. Every time skill is shown, it’s usually ignored if someone is convinced they know all that there is to know about the topic.

The people are estimating how many necros they have seen in comparison to other people on your server, and it seems that there are a lot of people that run necros on your server. Is that hard to understand? The semantics of the exact percentage of necros that are running around in WvW on your server is silly to even bring up into a discussion because nobody knows those figures and it would be a pain for anybody to even attempt to research those figures other than somebody at arenanet, and it would likely be a very safe bet to make, that the amount of necros playing on HoD in WvW is not a huge talking point at arenanet.

A lot of players on HoD are playing Necro. Simple, true, and you can’t scrutinize the semantics of a “guess-timation.” If you need me to simplify more things for you to understand, just send me a whisper in game and I’ll help you out.

I don’t care what the percentage estimate is, I don’t care what the class is, my point was apparently no matter what class we supposedly run more of, beating the odds apparently isn’t amazing, because we run whatever class they happened to see a lot of. Feel free to explain my flaws to me, I play under the same name normally.

Well there is this term called FOTM, it stands for flavor of the month. The current FOTM in gw2 is the necro class, I don’t run necro so I don’t know the build(s) that are the FOTM, but there are certain skills, traits and combinations that allow the necro to be too powerful, due to the most recent update that buffed them. This happens in nearly every update, they wouldn’t do skill re-balancing every month if the skills were perfectly balanced.

As you may know, if you play any game with a character that has an inherent advantage over the other characters/classes in the game, then your feats aren’t as highly praised as you would like them to be. If you have a lot of people saying “You guys run a ton of ‘x class’ in WvW” and it’s a different class each time, then you should see what the FOTM is. It’s likely that a lot of people on your server reroll to the FOTM in order to do what they are doing, better. It’s a smart tactic, but seen as less honorable, or in this case, less amazing.

All this smack talk is so fun. Although it is definitely still very tame compared to the SF/NSP/HoD thread(s) back when SF broke out of T8. If the moderators are not shutting down this thread then you guys are not trash talking hard enough.

You should look at the NSP/BP/AR threads, those were the best, although a huge majority of the posts were removed for violating the rules.

Best advice for NSP protect your borderlands. Even though BP is read look at the ratings for determining on who you want to attack.

In all honesty I quite expect both BP and SBI to spend more time in NSP land than in each others. Seems to happen to us quite a bit.

Just for you I’ll make sure we spend equal times in both your borderlands, however some of us (Noodica) have developed this hate for SBI, so we may spend more time in their BL.

Plus it’s not like it even matters at the end of the week anyways, WvW is effectively casual now that they jumble up the matchups, so WvW is about having fun while you are in there, commanding pugs is a choice you make to allow others (not in your guild) to have fun. If you don’t want to rely on pugs dictating your fun, then go in with a core group of people who will allow/guarantee your fun.

I listed a mini jack-a-lop at 210g 53s 0c since the listing fee was ~10g 52s and I wanted to have 200g after all said and done. It sold earlier today, and I only received 190g for it. I don’t know why I didn’t get the 200g for it. I already paid the listing fee too, so there is no reason why I shouldn’t have gotten the 200g.

First of all your screenshot of our conversation was just about 3 months ago. When about 10 MoB players left to Yaks bend and then returned to NSP because we felt at home in NSP.

Secondly, get your facts straight before you start accusing. First of all the alliance website was paid for by thef from KOTR, and it was not a tax write off. The team speak 3 server however is a tax write off (for his own business)for somebody that doesn’t even play guild wars 2. How is that fraud?

Two alliances is a divide, and isn’t optimal for unification unless everybody is in both alliances, then they would just be redundant and unnecessary.

At one point lots of guilds started to pop up including spawn offs of all of ours. KING started 14 KING guilds total. I remember Nerf and Inside the *igina of gale grey as well. I wish Anet would play as often as they used too. We have ran into them in WvW and havent been real impressed. We stomped them just like we used to in AB.

I see humble pie isn’t your desert of choice.

I just want to throw this out here, I played gw1 for a long time, and I don’t ever remember any [KING] guilds, let alone any worth noting.

My personal favorite screenshot of a conversation I had with Jace is when he tried telling me he had received explicit photos of another player in game, and that he would sell them to me for 20 gold each. That one would be hilarious to send to his girlfriend.

Or this one time in vent, the day after I met him, when he told me that I should move in with him when he goes to college next year, and I quote “Imagine all the chicks we would get, bro.” That was a good conversation, it’s a shame that it was never recorded, but I talk to the people who were there for it, almost every day.

Alright seems like I need to give you a English lesson.

Two days ago, I posted “Bet 10g NSP keep doesnt have any buff on and the claimer is TFG”, which was obviously in present tense(yes, I mean you can’t read properly). After that I went to check the buff on keep and of course there was no buff on “at that moment”. About five minutes later, SF downed the water gate and TFG put buffs on(still no supply buff). In modern English, when some one use a present tense, he/she is referring to things that are either happening or things that often happen.

I think I am clear enough on the bet and if you still couldn’t comprehend, you might want to go back to middle school to learn the detail version of modern English grammar. Or you are one under-aged player who hasn’t finished the education(well GW2 is a rated T game, so I can’t help much if you are really under-aged).

Oh well, I believe you are not going to look at this anyway since you mentioned “I won’t say any more”, which proves that you are a bad reader =(

It’s not Ronny, it’s people like Ronny who will only do things for personal glory. There are only a couple of people left who are here for themselves, and not for the community. Yeah i honestly can’t remember a time running into [NSP] and not rolling them or watching them run… then again i don’t keep a scrapbook of my time on GW2 like some on here.

What you said either means that you have a very poor memory, or you don’t WvW. If you run with TCMM, wiping the NPCs in a camp doesn’t count as rolling NSP.

What TCMM does is zerg, there is nothing around that fact. They party up with their friends, not caring what their builds are, or how they work together in combat, and they put half of the players in golem suits (I guess their builds don’t really matter at this point) and try to run into Bay, but fail more often than not. There are literally 0 tactics behind what you guys are doing, and I would personally be ashamed and embarrassed to even be in that guild, let alone to have pride after being shamed off of NSP, but going to a server that TCMM was once, already shamed off of.

I just want to make a point that both GoM and HoD received guild transfers, while NSP actually lost a guild (to GoM) this past week. I would also like to make a point that last week, GoM kept it within 1k points of 2nd place, against NSP, for at least the weekend. It is only Sunday, and they are already slipping.

I was told that your location is client-side, meaning that if you knew how to, you could change it at any time you wanted. Of course, if you were caught, then you would obviously be banned. But when I saw bots appear and then disappear at gathering nodes, I had assumed they logged in and then back out, but a guildie explained that it was actually them changing their location as soon as they finished gathering from that node. This is also how people get into keeps and towers with mesmers to portal others in.

I don’t know about you, but if I hated PAXA, then I wouldn’t have done that. I don’t instigate people unless I don’t like them, take for example, AR. So since I knew nothing of jscull, there was no reason for me to instigate him, until he did so to me first. Please use your head next time.

The reason PAXA gets mad at everybody else is because jscull is like Ronny, they both feed their guild stupidity because they don’t like certain people. They feel that if they don’t like somebody, nobody else should either.

You guys seem to find us plenty with 15+ (and lol saying you killed us all 15+ times, funny). I’d imagine it wouldn’t be that hard to find us with 5 either. Dragear has asked me if we wanted to have a friendly 5v5 before, truth is we rarely even have 5 people on (maybe 2 hours a day we have 5 people, on the weekends it’s pretty rare to ever have 5) for those pre-set 5v5s when asked. If you want to continue taking 15 people against our 5 during prime time hours, by all means please keep doing so. We still enjoy killing those groups.

In all honesty, Os has some really cool, skilled players. But as I have stated before, large guilds don’t have that as a majority, and the majority of Os that you see aren’t going to be of the good kind. In WvW, there’s nothing wrong with that! It’s just when you take 15 to kill 5 and follow it up with trash talk, (especially when that 15 has been wiped before by 5) you don’t look so hawt.

It was over 15 times that we wiped PAXA on reset, because if I wasn’t in on it, everybody else was laughing about it in vent, and then one time when they did the breakout and it was ZergvZerg, NSP still won. Not once did any of you wipe 15 people, even though you guys claim that you bust zergs, you only kill stragglers.

I asked for a 2v2 since I only saw 2 PAXA, and there was no response, so I asked for a 5v5, jscull responded with “QQ” which opened up the door to the trash talking. Everything that happened was because jscull refused to fight a friendly 2v2 or 5v5 and decided to instigate instead. Remember, there are always two sides to a story

PAXA runs 1-5 mostly, if you saw a 2 man, its likely no one else was on. And am I reading correctly that you whispered one of us because you died 1v2, got mad when you didn’t get a response, and decided to punish us by getting a zerg together? It didn’t work, all your blobs look alike and we don’t keep a tally of how many/who dies to groups that unreasonably outnumber us. We do however take note of the small mans we come across that put up a good fight, cheers to you guys.

Also, I do not like fair/pre-arranged fights, and have no plans to participate in them (even if Jscull begs me). I play open world pvp, where kitten happens and you have to react. If you like to play 1-2-3-GO! might I suggest spvp?

If, however, you’d like to fight our 5, come find us.

How to find PAXA:
1. Ask in /map if anyone has seen PAXA.
2. Look for camps/sentries that are our teams color.
3. Hang around the south island in BLs (not EB), we’ll be there eventually.

It was reset, there were plenty of you guys on, and I was half afk when they came at me, I deserved to die for not paying attention. When I asked for an actual matchup, the response that I got, from your dignified leader, was “QQ” so in response, we ended up wiping the whole PAXA group 15 times, at which point, jscull whispered me and said we were as bad as ALS. So I told him that it must be even more embarrassing if we are that bad and you guys still can’t beat us.

But we didn’t have any trouble finding you guys, jscull is just upset that his repair bill was so high

As for Ronny, I used Proxifier to get access to his alliance meeting on Thursday, because he blocked my real IP. He didn’t know I was in there, and he doesn’t know who I posed as, but I sat there, and I enjoyed listening to him and another person I know, spew off random garbage about me. Not once, not twice, but three times.

Maybe next week you can show up to his meeting and listen in on the “dude leading other people around on BLs” I’ll be there on proxifier, unless Ronny realizes how childish he is, by banning me and talking trash without thinking I was there, and unbans me.

This thread is about the match-up between three servers, not the match-up between three factions of the same server. (I should also add, most of NSP is not in ANY of these factions. NSP as a server is also a victim.)

Here we currently have the closest WvW match-up that I have ever been in. This is a great time for our servers, and for T7. We should be talking about it and enjoying it. But that discussion is being destroyed by a private war hijacking the conversion.
